Name: Patch
Species: Skeletal (An old school version of the modern shape shifter)
Human description: Broad shouldered and standing at 5â11 heâs a beast. With muscular arms and an abdominal as hard as iron on the outside he appears to be athletic and quite the catch. On a first glance his facial expression seems a tad boisterous but no less handsome. Silver eyes and white teeth that appear a little on the sharp side he looks curious but âhumanâ enough.
Take a closer look at Patch though and youâll notice heâs far from ordinary. It is a fact that Skeletalâs are physically imperfect. âHumanâ isnât their original form therefore they have to estimate the size of arms, legs etc. when taking on the human form. Sometimes they make mistakes. Arms might be slightly longer, ears wrongly shaped etc.
Patchâs hairline is wrong. His pitch black hair doesnât stop at the top of his neck it forms into a point and grows down his neck to the start of his spine. It could be mistaken for a strange haircut.
Monster description: No one knows what a Skeletalâs original form is but everyoneâs certain its horrific by the way it disguises itself with so many different skins and faces. Coming from a different dimension it can turn into a number ofâŠstrange creatures. A skeletal will give off smoke (like a octopus squirts a cloud of ink) to cover itâs shift into another creature. You will hear the cracking of bones though. Each shift takes about 30 seconds. (Not long? I know!)
When a Skeletal is hit by moonlight you can see straight shapes on its skin. That is the bone structure of whatever its impersonating at the time. Itâs presumed that when the bone structure doesnât show in the moonlightâŠthe Skeletal is in itâs true form.
A skeletal has a preferred form (usually human) and after a while of impersonating something else will return to itâs preferred form. It doesnât have a time limit on shifting though and can keep up itâs preferred form for as long as it likes
Personality:Heâs an absolute ASS! Pleasant enough when things are going his way Patch has a horrific temper and an even more disastrous attitude when displeased. (which is often) Naturally ignorant of the feelings/views of others heâs dominated by a mixture of pride and temper. Patch goes hand in hand with violence and is far from a gentleman. Therefore he wonât hesitate to give a female a good beating if she pisses him off. In a way he treats everyone equally because he treats everyone awfully. He eats like a beast, sleeps like a beast and does everything with a extra touch of vulgarity.
Itâs only his nature though. Itâs how everyone is where he comes from. Selfish, vicious and unforgiving. The only way to survive the shark is to be a big fishâŠor taste awful. Patch is sure to leave an ill taste in your mouth with his mannerisms and where he comes from heâs big news. (so he's both)
Abilities- Powers/strengths:
He can shift into all kinds of creatures and can at times exchange human limbs for more dangerous ones with claws etc.
He's agile and fairly fast with the ability to exchange internal organs as well as exterior.
Weakness:
In the moonlight others can see his bone structure which may enable them (if they're strong enough) to accurately break bones in his body.
If someone damages him in one form...he's damaged. Therefore there's a risk in shifting into small, vulnerable things like spiders as if someone crushes him in such a form they would ultimately kill him.
If injured shifting becomes slightly more dangerous and much more painful for him as he's exchanging one form for another while still sustaining injury. Say he's a wolf if he broke a leg and shifted into his human form he'd have a broken arm or leg as a result.

History: Will be revealed throughout roleplay but briefly...Patch comes from a darker dimension reigned by evil. With wacky games, strange alcohols and a never ending party on his behalf he's grown up in a twisted and wild environment dominated by his wants and desires. Women are slaves to his species and he has many abiding by his rules and commands. Death is a daily dealing and a 'life' means very little to him. He has eaten a few human women in the past as his friends cooked a few disobediant girls up and served them to him without a word. They informed him after what he'd eaten and he'd shrugged it off saying they were a little salty...
Due to his fine looks many females have met their end through Patch. Having fallen in love with his looks despite his vulgar ways they're desperate to be the ones to change him into a civilized individual and magically make him fall for them. Unfortunately in a place so evil there was no changing Patch and they all met their brutal end. Will someone be able to get through to him at Carnes now he's away from all the brutality...?
