Name: Yune Foright
Age: 17
Description: Yune has a cool demeanor to him that comes from three factors ā his appearance, his style, and his personality. He is tall and lean in stature, but far from seeming frail - quite the contrary in fact. He has fair hair that falls to his shoulders, and he prefers to keep it loose. In times when physical activity is necessary, he will tie it back. He has amber eyes that have a piercing quality to them, but they usually shine with a light of jest. Yune is rarely angry, and his neutral expression around others is a jovial smileā¦ but he does have his rare, solemn moments. When he is alone or if someone manages to get him to be serious for a moment, he can be rather intimidating for a human. He balances style and comfort in his attire, but he prefers darker, warmer shades such as brown. He prefers sweaters to jackets, and likes to layer his clothing.
Personality: The outward basis of Yuneās personality is insouciant, unserious, and jesting. It may seem that he takes nothing at all very seriously when one simply looks at his behavior and listens to what he has to say. He takes to harmless teasing, especially to those who donāt like it. The words themselves are rarely offensive, but he often chooses the worst time, place, and condition to do so ā and it is quite often on purpose. However, beneath his jesting guise is a more serious, more perceptive individual. There are many times where people think he isnāt paying attention, but he is in fact observing them quite intently without their notice. Although some of his actions may seem āpointlessā, they are rarely such. There are many ulterior motives beneath that mask of mirth and carefree nature.
Skills:
Tarot Reading ā this is an unusual hobby that Yune picked up some point in the sixth grade. Heās found that his readings are pretty accurate for the most part, and enjoys reading other peoplesā fortunes for them. However, heās also rather good at sleight of hand and enjoys manipulating the outcome for more superstitious individuals.
Aikido ā Yune is not at all sure how practical this martial art is in real life, but seeing as it was fun to learn, he never really cared. Heās studied this peaceful art since he was eight, and by now is rather good at it. Falling without injuring himself is second-nature to him now, and he can get out of most holds despite strength differencesā¦ however, seeing as heās only practiced in supervised sessions, it is completely unknown whether he will be able to make full use of his skills should a sudden situation arise.
Multitasking ā itās a talent developed over time. There are few others who can read while chopping vegetables, whistling, and eavesdropping at the same time without cutting off their finger.
Likes:
Cooking Meant for Him ā he cooks for himself and rather well at that, but thereās something about home-cooking made purposely for him thatās pleasant. A meal is good, but a dessert is even better.
Reading ā he enjoys reading all sorts of novels, particularly those fantastic in nature. He also read a good dose of non-fictionā¦ but he shuns all science fiction. He doesnāt care how amazing it is. He shuns it.
Warmth ā he is sensitive to the cold and thus prefers warmer temperatures. Yuneās hands get cold very easily, even on warm days.
Dislikes:
Fast Food ā he says itās all either too salty or too bland. He doesnāt like salty flavors very much, but at the same time, heās picky about food that has no taste. Itās safer to just go with sweet or sour flavors with him.
Drawing ā he cannot drawā¦ or paintā¦ or sculptā¦ or carveā¦ or any other form of visual art. Thereās enough in that explanation.
Coldness ā Yune is sensitive to the cold, and absolutely despises being cold. In the winter, he can be seen with several layers and a muffler, and of course, gloves. In colder weather, he gets irritable and impatient along with getting tired. Some often demand if heās cold-blooded for his āhibernatingā tendencies.
History: Yune was grew up in an urban region with his father and younger sister. His mother was ill and lived with his grandparents in the countryside since he was little, but he didnāt mind. He liked living in the city with his doting father, who easily filled both roles perfectly, despite being away at work. However when Yune turned thirteen, his father was promoted, and to support the tuition of his childrenās private schools, he had to be away from home far more often than before. Despite this, whenever he was around, he always cooked for his family and spent the time to talk to them. Around that time, Yuneās younger sister was diagnosed with the same condition as their motherā¦ it turned out to be hereditary. She passed away when Yune was fifteen. From then on, things got difficult for Yune. His father was constantly away ā in fact, rarely home. All of Yuneās meals were cooked on his own. His pocket money came from his own part-time work. He didnāt want to bother his father at work or worry his mother in the country. He developed a distant nature at school although he maintained an appearance of closeness through a mask of cheer. His friends never noticed that they knew nothing about him.
Now his father seemed to deem it a good idea to ship his son off to boarding school. Yune didnāt mind all that much. He was a little bored of the city anywayā¦ and heās dying for something a little interesting.
