Sophia woke up and she was late again. She got up an rushed everything. She was had her outfit out aready so it she didn't hve to hunt it down. Today was her birthday. She had been here 99yrs and has kept her place. Most girls usually forget their birthday, but she forced herself to remeber so he didn't seem like a non exsistent person. It was mostly to keep herself sane. She ran her fingers through her hair as she looked in the mirror. She could still remember how she got here and her life before this.

She pushed the thought of her head and got dressed. She pulled the socks up above her knees and she slipped on her black heels. She fixed her hair so it complimented the cat ears. Once she blew herself a kiss in the mirror, she left the trailer and went back stage. Luckily her dance wasn't up until later anyway. She saw Alaska givingout orders and right behind her she saw Marshall.

She had a huge crush on him and loved watching him dance. He wouldn't ever talk to anyone though which upset her. She kept trying to talk him, but he was still grieving about being here. She smiled at him and then walked up to Alaska. "Where am I today?"

"Wait here." Marshall froze, holding Alex and Landon, with a couple of the girls, behind him. Alaska came back, sneaking the group past the perverse ringleader. Marshall couldn't remember anything about his childhood, but Alexander reminded him of a dark and creepy shadow of a man in the mist of his memory. "- So we will give them the best show we have ever put on, tonight we will mix our dancers, each male dancer will dance with several girls.” Marshall turned his gaze immediately to her, shocked about the new arrangement. "'Re ya sure abaht this, Alaska?" His thick Cockney accent slurred his words, but the lead dancer had already gotten used to it. It annoyed Marsh though, especially when Alex called him out on it. "Come one Smoosh, stop slurrin'!" The American boy was not left without a bruise to his cheek. They also had to dance with several other girls, which would be insanity for the crowd.

"- followed by Mocha." Alaska was just trying to get the other dancers to hate him. She was already to put him out onstage to be ripped to nakedness by the orgyrific crowd. Dancing with the lead, or having his own solo, would produce a loud response from their crowd in Madrid. Madrid was known for risque crowds, as he heard from one of the older performers trying scare him. He wasn't the most risque dancer. Marshall scuttled by the dressing room, and knocked timidly. When Alaska let him in, he sat beside her and started to help with her makeup. "I daan't fin' that i'm ready for this, Alaska. Madrid is wahn of the more risque crowds, and I daan't fin' I can 'andle them." Marsh's hands started shaking, he was so afraid of being embarassed or humiliated by a crowd that just wanted sex or being naked or something.

Alex and Landon sat outside with the other dancers, stretching out for their dances. Alex had noticed Sophia looking at Marshall, and wanted to tease her. "Hey Soph', I heard Marshall has a thing for Alaska, Landon says he hears her moaning and groaning next door." Landon and some other dancers laughed, but under that a little green monster grew inside Alex, because under it all, he wanted Marshall just as badly.

Alaska wasn’t as bad a person everyone thought she was, she was mean, but you had to be mean and harsh here, or the carnival would literally eat you alive, you were either at the top or fighting for survival at the bottom and she didn’t very well like the thought of being at the bottom. She glanced to Marshall as he sat down next to her and started to help her with her make-up, normally no one was allowed in her dressing room, but she was quite fond of Marshall, he reminded her a lot of her little brother. She listened to him talk, but she was quiet and didn’t reply as she listened to how scared and frantic his thoughts were. Finally after a moment of silence she finally spoke.

“Listen, Sweetie, you better than most my female dancers.” She offered a warm smile “Plus you’ll be dancing with me, I won’t let you make a fool of yourself, just follow my lead alright.” She said in a genuinely sweet voice.

She turned hearing another knock on her door. She walked to the door opening it seeing Sophia, listening as she asked where she was to be placed tonight in the show. Alaska looked her over for a second before speaking.

“I see you’ve finally decided to join the rest of us.” She said with a smile “Were mixing dancers tonight.” She stated firmly grabbing her hand gently and pulling her into the room, she closed the door behind her to grant the three of them privacy. She lend back against the door as she looked at the two dancers in her room, she cocked her head to the side if to examine them more properly. “The three of us will perform a solo together, it will be sexy, breathtaking, and reckless.” She smirked “I’m sure the ringleader will enjoy it, he’s coming tonight, which means we will have to make it that much more intriguing.” She stated firmly

Sophia loved listening to him talk, but Alex had to go and say somethin stupid. "Well if Alaska has him then you can't have him either, Alex." She hated when Alex bothered her about Marshall. She just wanted to watch him in peace. She gave a cocky wave and then followed behind the other dancers. They are all in a circle stretching for their dances. She knew that Alex was going to probably get her later for that, but she could honestly careless. She adjusted her skirt and ears and waited for the dancing to start.

When Alaska grabbed her and pulled her into the room she thought that she was in trouble. "I am sorry I am late." When she mentione the solo Sophia perked up and started to mess with her hair. "Of course, but I don't want to make enemies with the dancers Alaska. The are crazy." The last time Sophia had a solo she got in a foght with another dancer. Sophia won of course, but she doesn't want to do that everytime.

She thought about her solo at that moment and the time Alaska made her sing because Chloe failed to show up. It was great, but she didn't ever want to do that again. "Is that dance we ar doing something I know?"

“Let me deal with them, if they bother you just let me know and I will happily put them in their place.” She said with a serious tone of voice a smile played on her perfect purplish-pink glossed lips. She looked to Sophia “Do you remember the dance we did back in Germany in 1998?” she asked casually “Will simply do that one again, revamped, hot stuff here will take Landon’s position when we performed it and will perform it to one of my favorite songs, it will definitely get a rise out of the crowd, but you will need different outfit.” She smirked as she went to her large closet with hundreds of different outfits from the past two hundred years at least. She searched through looking for the perfect outfit, this was going to piss the other dancers off even more, Alaska never let anyone where anything in her closet and eveyone knew she had the best dance costumes.

“Since London here has decided cowboy themed, you can have this one, it’s not really my style anyways.” She said tossing the girl her new outfit for the show tonight. “I’ll be wearing this, so we can all match somewhat.” She said in a happy tone although she was honestly dreading the show. “Who knows you two may have your own show, by the next city, you two are my best dancers after all.” She said as she opened her dressing room door signaling them it was time to leave. “Sophia, please do me a favor and teach Mocha here Landon’s moves, you guys have an hour till show time, better pick up those moves fast sweetheart.” She smirked handing the track with the song on it to Sophia so they could practice. “Don’t fuck up, or I’ll beat the shit out of you.” She said in a sweet cotton candy tone with a smile to match.

Desmond walked around the carnival. It was a sickening sight. He hated to see all these innocent people enjoying themselves while the rest of them had to work here for the rest of their unnatural lives. Everything seemed to go according to plan. The games were running smoothly, people were losing as much as they were winning. He put his hands behind his back and crossed them. He gave off an air that he knew what he was doing and how he was going about doing it. A smile never left his face. While he was walking a teenager no older than 17 bumped into him. The kid sputtered out an apology and started off, Desmond grabbed his shoulder and pulled a piece of paper out of his coat pocket. "Here, take this voucher and ride some of the rides. I hear the Ferris Wheel has a view that will take your breath away, and take somebody special with you." The teen took the paper and nodded his head. He started off again. When he looked back the man in the purple suit was gone.

Desmond appeared in the tent. He was on top of the bleachers. He held back a frown when he saw his brother. He despised the man, always had. He saw that everything was under control. So he disappeared again. He looked up and that he was outside Amelia's trailer. He still called Alaska by her real name when they were alone. He had learned it when she was at the carnival all those years ago. He decided he had no need to see her right now, he would return when the carnival was over. When prying eyes wouldn't be around. This time he appeared in the back stage of the tent. He saw the rest of the dancers and performers. He smiled and said, "How's everybody doing? Hope tonight isn't too rough on you guys. Remember, if you need anything, don't go to Alex. He won't get anything done. Come to me. Alright, I got places to be, things to make sure are running smoothly. So I'm going to make like a tree... and leave." With a flourish of his hand he was gone.

He was back at the main strip leading to the tent. He saw the teenager again, this time he was holding a girl's hand. Desmond smiled at the blossom of new love. It warmed his old heart, it hadn't been warmed since his first night with Amelia. He saw a few people enter the Tunnel. His heart was frozen again. He wanted to shut that thing down. He didn't mind being in the carnival business, but that damn thing made it terrible. Desmond sighed and continued making sure everything was running smoothly. That's when he saw the new girl, she seemed all alone. He walked over to her and put his arm around her, "Hey, I know it's rough. It doesn't get any easier. I've been here for... You know... I forget how long I've been working here. I helped open this place. Alex is... eccentric, and a pervert...and a psycho, and he's my brother. I still haven't gotten used to the old bastard. So, things are going take some time to get used to. I'm your new boss, Desmond. Unless you become a dancer, then Alaska's your boss, but until then I am. Well, technically Alex is your official boss, but in terms of who you listen to, it's either me or Alaska. Alright? So, cheer up. I'll be around." Desmond said with a wink and he disappeared.

Sophia remembered the dance like it was yesterday, but she was wearing much more revealing clothes. When she was handed a new outfit she stared at it for a moment. 'Great. I love outfit changes' She rolled her eyes. She placed the outfit on the door handle so she could change into it later.

"Sophia, please do me a favor and teach Mocha here Landon’s moves, you guys have an hour till show time, better pick up those moves fast sweetheart." Alaska said and then disappeared.

"No problem." She loved teaching dancers new dancers and she was especially happy is was Marshall. She held up a finger to indicate to give her a moment. She grabbed the outfit she had to wear and then ran to Alaska's bathroom to change. It was fast so she she came back out and she felt so different, none the less she had to wear it. She walked over to Marshall. "Okay now for the dance. " She put the music on and she started to show him what her moves were and how he was supposed to dance with that. And then she showed him how to dance with Alaska moves. And towards the end of the song she taught him the finally. She preformed it by herself so Marshall could see it, because she didn't want to dance with him instantly without seeing it.

"Okay, do you want to see it again before you try?"

Sophia was shocked by how quickly he got the dance down. When he dipped her they had a moment, which she couldn't tell if it was real or just a show. She didn't care the look was intense and very sexy. When they had finished she was a little tired from it, but pumped with energy. She could have kissed him, but she didn't. Her cheeks were heating up, but with the makeup on her face it was hard to tell it was there. She walked over to where Alaska kept the water and she grabbed two bottles. She tossed one to Mocha and downed one herself.

She walked over to the broken mirror and fixed her hair and outfit. She tried to turn herself into Lady Cheetah. They sexy feline and it worked. She gave a soft purr and blew herself a kiss in the mirror. She could feel her cat-like instances coming in as she felt her inner kitty. Her eyes became a brighter color which she thought made her look sexier. She walked back over to Mocha. "Do I look okay? I don't want to look like I just rolled out of bed." Which technically she did about twenty minutes ago, but the audience didn't need to know that.

Alaska smirked as she came in from talking to Alevina the chatter of the crowed as they filled in could now be heard which meant it was getting closer. She hated the carnival but she loved performing in all honesty she probably would be a Vegas show girl if she wasn’t here. The show was a two hour performance, with no intermission or break for the dancers.

“Everybody line up!” she called out, she did it every night to get a head count before their performance, even if it was one person missing it could ruin a performance. She did a simple quick head count, before dropping her rob still dressed in her ringleader like costume. “Now, Madam Cheetah, Mocha and I will be doing the finally.” She stared as she passed back and forth in front of the line slowly with precision, making eye contact with every single one of the dancers. “If
anyone has a problem with my two favorite dancers, you can deal with me.” She smirked “The reason you’re not in their position dancing with me, is because you’re not good enough.” She smirked “If anyone of you so much as glances at them the wrong way I’ll rip your pretty little beating hearts out of your cheats.” Her voice was stained with intent and hit the air in a poisonous way. She stopped in front of Sophia and Marshall, she lend in closely to the two of them “Don’t make a fool of me.” She whispered for only them to hear, before stepping back and extending her arm though her eyes still on the two young dancers, as her black staff was tossed to her.

Without another word to the line of dancers she made her way to the stage to welcome the guests. The men and woman cheered as she walked in front of the red current. “Welcome and thank you for joining us this evening, I promise you won’t be disappointed, but in respect of the dancers we do ask that you do not video tape the performance and no flash photography. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.” With that she snapped her fingers causing the stage to go black, giving her a moment to get off stage, within seconds the red current lifted and a familiar song started and with that the first set of dancers were up of course in the proper costuming for this number. She stood back stage making sure everyone was in their spots as she was being tightly forced into a black leather corset, she would go out in the middle f the song, t shake her ass and get a little more risquĂ© then the rest of the girls.

Sophia followed Alaska out to the other dancers. She was in her cheetah mode so she wasn't as nervous as have been. She listened to the Alaska tell the girls about how they are the best dancers and no one should have a problem with that. She giggled a little and then smiled. When the girls filed up in a line Sophia stretched a bit more as she listened to Alaska's mini lecture to her and Mocha.

“Don’t make a fool of me.” Alaska growled.

That actually scared her since she never wanted to be on Alaska's bad side. She waited until they had to go up. She couldn't wait to preform the dance and she was pretty hyped up. She could have turned into a cat right then and there , but she kept her cool. She watched the girls on stage and they were 'okay', of course she could do better, but she was in the finale and not the main part. She turned her sexy on and sang a little song in her head. She needed peace to reach more of her inner core. Once the girls were finished she let a deep sigh.

"We're up." She said with a seductive smile.

Alaska let out a very dark, but somehow still sweet giggle when Marshall had asked if she regretted anything. “I don’t know Mocha, are you going to make me regret anything?” she said turning to him and giving a wink.

The hard beat of tainted love boomed loudly through the speakers and Alaska lead the two out as she walked slowly and calculated out heel toe heel toe, the crowed was watching intently almost hypnotize it seemed. She began to roll her body the other to dancing out their part and she watched them as she performed her moves leaning back and then rolling back up, for a moment she thought about leaving the two, they were performing so well and even she was enjoying watching them, but she figured after tonight she would choreograph a show just for them, but she wouldn’t tell them that.

Finally it was her turn to dance with Marshall while Sophia danced her semi solo. She rubbed all over Marshall and though it looked very sexual to the crowed to her it was just a dance. As the song drew to a close the three of them united as the two girls both danced with Marshall, making it look as though they were having a threesome though, through a very hot a steamy dance number. The dance ended and the tent went black, it was the loudest applaud since Alaska had done her first show at the carnival. Which Alaska was quite happy about, they had to find their way in the darkness which was like second nature to Alaska and before she had time to talk to the two, she had to go out and close the with her solo.

Alaska’s performance was going perfect, then she froze, she started gasping for air her hands flew to her throat tears ran down her cheeks, she couldn’t breathe. Then within seconds she was on the floor, out cold, her breathing had returned to normal for the most, but something had happened and her body seemed to be in shock, it was pale and colder than normal, but at least she was alive. The other dancers watched in horror back stage, as the crew member cleared out the theater.

Wyatt nodded to her “of course, I’d be happy to show you around whenever you are ready.” He smiled, not bother at all. “I do apologize for Wesley, he really doesn’t mean it, he thinks he’s funny.” Wyatt said knowing how pissed off Desmond was. “Well I better go check on him.” Wyatt gave a small bow before noticing the dancer’s tent being evacuated, he looked to his watch the show still had a good ten minutes, Alaska wasn’t one for closing the show early, but it was her party tonight, he thought as he started off in the direction of his brother.

Wesley was aggravated beyond what he normally was, no one understood the extent of his problem and it drove him insane. He was walking at a fast pace before he heard Levi, he tried his best to ignore her, he didn’t want to hear her apology, but Wesley was unable to hold his tongue very long. “Yeah you should learn to keep your mouth shut.” He said harsher then he meant to but continued “If you really want to know what the mystery is and you think Alaska is such a horrible cheating whore.” He said raising his voice a bit, before taking a deep breath trying to calm himself before he spoke again, anger still in his voice but calmer “I’m a monster, you have nothing to worry about your beautiful legs and all” his voice was sincere “But, me
I have to have blood to stain me, human blood only any other blood is poison to me and even without a soul that is the one thing that can kill me know matter what.” He frowned gently “Alaska, is my source of blood, without her there is no telling how many lives I would have taken, hell I could be dead.” He stated firmly “Are you satisfied know, you can go run and tell all of your friends the new gossip.” He said irritated.

Desmond groaned tonight wasn't his night. Usually everybody is quiet and nothing is going on except usually business. He had heard the fortune teller's request. He didn't care right now what his image was, He pulled out his pipe and light it. Besides, it was only the new girl that was around him. He took a nice healthy breath of it and exhaled it slowly enjoying the apple taste of the smoke. He made sure that he didn't get any in Violet's face. "As you can see, there are petty squabbles between us. I think the term you would use would be drama. I don't keep up with the lingo through out the ages. I've given up. It changes so quickly. Now, I believe it's time to take you to your trailer." He said motioning towards the lot of them. He knew which one was her's she didn't need to say it. He looked at it and sighed, "That's a terrible color. Hideous really. I'll repaint it. I know, I wouldn't want to live in something of that color." Desmond brought her hand up and kissed the knuckles, "Stay out of trouble now, and don't let what you heard bother you. I'll check in on you later." He tipped an invisible hat and disappeared.

He appeared outside of the tent. The was something wrong. He fought through the crowd getting about halfway there realize he could teleport there. He walked into the back, he didn't see a single soul. Not there was one to be had anyway. He ran out onto the stage and saw Alaska lying there. He knelt beside her and turned to Marshall and Sophie, "What happened? Tell me now!" She felt cold, her breathing was normal, but she was cold as Ice. "Go start a hot bath." He wasn't thinking clearly. He would have gone and got it, it would have been quicker, but his mind was on the fact Alaska was lying there.

During the dance, her, Alaska, and Mocha were super sexy. She got really into the dance and felt like it could have lasted all night. The music stopped, the lights dimmed, and she heard the biggest applause ever given. She couldn't believe it until something terrible happened. Alaska collapsed to the floor and the crowd went into a sudden gasp. Desmond came out of stage and she knew that something bad had happened. "I don't know." She said in all seriousness and nervousness. "We did our dance and she collapsed." She looked at Alaska and how pale she was.

Violet

Violet nodded silently at Desmond before he disappeared. When she walked inside the hideous trailer, she made a mental note about not trusting anyone at this place. The walls inside the trailer had the same ugly colour as outside and there wasn't much space. A big trunk full of clothes was standing underneath the tiny table and without even questioning it; Violet crawled down and pulled it out. She didn't have anything to sleep in and her dress was wet. There were a lot of different colourful dresses and Violet found a pretty white nightgown. She slipped it on and then realized she hadn't closed the door to her trailer yet. Oh god... When she reached out for the door, she noticed that people was running from the tent clinging to their belongings, some of them was still trying to get their clothes back on. All of the performers that hadn't been backstage were also running towards the tent opening. Maybe there had been some kind of accident. Violet felt that it would be wrong not to help, but at the same time she was too scared after all the things Victor had said. She slammed the door and covered the two windows. She wasn't going anywhere.

Alyssa

Alyssa had been watching the whole thing from the side of the stage and at first she hadn't done anything out of shock. Then reality hit her and she jumped up on the stage to the others, still wearing her costume which was almost nothing. She'd never cared about Alaska, in her eyes she was a bitch. But now the bitch was lying almost dead on the floor and Alyssa got worried. Mostly because Alexander would freak out and throw one of his temper tantrums. "I saw it." Alyssa kept a few meters distance from Desmond and crossed her arms; she would never voluntarily go near him. "It almost looked like she was strangled." Alaska had been doing perfectly fine and then suddenly she grabbed her throat and started gasping for air. Almost like someone was strangling her, but Alyssa had seen everything and no one had been on the stage except for the three dancers.

Alistair smirked a creepy down right twisted smirk as he stood at the entrance of the Carnival of Dreams. Things here didn’t seem normal, they were far from reality and he could tell that right off the bat and he liked the thought of that. He walked into the carnival and it seemed as if the whole world had changed, people stared at him as if he belonged to the freak show, no correction as if he was the main attraction at the freak show. He walked through the carnival simply watching as people played games and had a great time, what a perfect playground, he thought mincingly. He walked slowly past the tunnel before stopping in front of it.

“How very odd.” He mumbled with a small smile on his face. “Seems someone is collecting souls.” He laughed darkly at the thought before he continued on his way through the carnival.
Loud music came from one of the tents, he peaked his head in seeing three dancers. He watched the three they were very talented he knew that much, but there was something off about all of them. He had a weird sense, he himself was immortal, he knew when others were as well almost as if he could smell the immortality coming off of them. After watching he made his way into the tent, invisible of course he wouldn’t dare interrupt. The lights went black and it seemed as though there performance was over. He sat on the side of the stage of course no one could see him and he loved that.

The lights on the stage were brought back to a dim purple as another song started with a very young attractive girl, she
was immortal. He had a very dark thought cross his mind followed by a twisted smile. He stood up and slowly made his way up the steps and on to the stage examining her as she danced.

“I could take you away from this, you poor, poor beautiful creature, degrading yourself in such a manor.” He whispered softly, knowing she’d be the only one to hear him causing Alaska to freeze was she going crazy had anyone else heard that, but before she had time to do anything she felt a hand wrap around her neck tightly, closing off her air tubes she struggled but she couldn’t breathe. The moment he was sure she he had almost killed her he let her go letting her live. “Poor souls like you don’t deserve to live forever my dear, you are weak, immortality or not you can still be tortured until you are mad.” He whispered to her kneeling down next to her pushing a strain of her dark hair behind her ear and kneeling down to kissing her forehead “Your soul may belong to this carnival, but your body belongs to me now.” He smirked and stood calmly making his way off the stage and into the crowed blending in almost perfectly.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Wesley was amused by the girl, but he was still in a one of his moods and that wasn’t going to change. He glanced up when he had heard her say something might be wrong and his heart almost stopped. He took off running towards the tent heading inside, he saw Desmond lead down next to Alaska who almost seem lifeless, as she laid on the stage. She was almost as pale as him, death, he thought to himself. He made his way on the stage.

“What the hell happened?” he looked to Desmond worried “Why is she still laying here, take her to her trailer.” He said slightly freaking out seeing her laying there.

Wyatt didn’t like the feeling he was getting, the feeling in the pit of your stomach when you feel like something bad is going to happen, then he saw his brother take of running. He quickly followed after his brother worried. His eyes widened at the sight of Alaska.
