Description
Deimos Tamurlayn âI want to hold you close
Skin pressed against me tight
Lie still, and close your eyes girl
So lovely, it feels so right
I want to hold you close
Soft breath, beating heart
As I whisper in your ear
I want to fucking tear you apartâŠâ
Nickname/Alias: No one would dare to call Deimos by a nickname. However he is often referred to as âthe Seizerâ by common folk.
Age: 28 years old
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Marital Status: Single
Occupation: Head of the Tamurlayn family and the ruler of Quarth
Height: 6 foot 6 1/2 inches
Body type: Thickly corded muscles cover every inch of his body, with scars to hold witness to his treachery and bloodlust. Though he is highly skilled with his sword, he never lets up in training.
Eyes: Cold, condescending and dark.
Hair: A deep brown that falls to his shoulders, slightly wavy.
Distinguishing marks: Deimos almost always speaks in a scornful voice, with the scornful glares to match.
Fashion Sense: Always well dressed and well adorned, Deimos doesnât hide who holds power and who doesnât. He likes to dress in expensive sable furs when the weather allows it, and most of his clothes are black, navy, or other âregalâ colors. He is either scowling or smirkingâthere are no âniceâ smiles unless he is trying to convince them to join his causeâalong with a sword pointed at their necks. His sword is always with him, day or night.
Personality
Likes: Power, land, money, having people obey him, the smell of fear, expensive wine, wild duck dishes.
Dislikes: People who disobey, clingy people, having to repeat himself, his brother (even though he is dead), mice, losing, gambling.
Fears: Dying before attaining his desires and sitting on top of the world.
Skills/Talents: Fightingâor more appropriately, slaughtering. He is also skilled in manipulating peopleâs fears to get his wayâone of the things he can do very well is pitting allies against each other.
Weaknesses: He is terrible at card gamesâso he does not play them. As brusque and commanding he can be, he lacks important qualities to be successful in taking over. Because of that, he uses people until their purposes are metâŠand then dispose of them. His overreaching ambition, however, could be considered his worst weakness.
Magic: Overall Personality: Not a kind man, Deimos is not someone you would want sitting at your dinner table, let alone be your ruler. Ruthless on the battlefield and in his own domain, he has done things most would not be proud of to get where he is now. He murdered his older brother and all that associated with him, including his children and wives, even servants. None that belonged to his brother Thanatos was to be left alive, but to be destroyed. He killed them all and threw them into ditches and set his brotherâs head on a spike to let the world know what victory had taken place.
He does not value any form of life except his own, and disposes people left and right as he sees fit, deeming them as âtools.â Deimos scorns the idea of âfamilyâ as well as âlove,â and though he has many lovers, he does not care much for them at allâas they are all replaceable as well. He is the type to kick a dog and laugh, one who has no qualms whatsoever about killing children, women, or familyâas he has killed all three already.
Personality Quirks: He has a tendency to cross his arms over his chest no matter what occasion it is.

History: He was a late child, conceived by his parents when unexpected. He was the youngest of four children, his oldest brother, Thanatos, and two older sisters Caryen and Freidaâand as a child he had an inferiority complex, for he was raised in the shadow of his older brother. He grew to despise the man who outshone him, though he himself was the spitting image of his brother. Anything he did was always compared to the older sibling and he constantly sought recognition of his individual being, not âThanatosâ little brother.â His hatred was what spurred him on, as well as his thirst for power, and he was considered an over-achiever in his youth, desperate to be seen as someone worthy. He trained hard, studied hard, and hated even harder, though the more he did so he was becoming more like and even darker than his brother.
When Deimos was fifteen, he poisoned two obstacles to his goal; his elder sisters who had never been anything but kind to him. A servant was blamed for the deed and executed, and the secret stayed with himâbecause the others in the deal were dead and gone. Now that his two sisters were out of the way, only his older brother stood in the way of his ambitions. However he knew he was not strong enough to be able to kill his brother, and only trained more for that delicious day he would see his blood on his blade.
Meanwhile, his brother had children aplenty, some not too much younger than him and some mere babes. Their father passed away when Deimos was twenty, and as everyone had expected, Thanatos became the next ruler. And he, the worthless second son, plotted and waited. He charmed people into working under him, promising and convincingâand one night, he and his men stormed the mansion of his older brother and slaughtered all that they could find inside.
Deimos has been the head of the house of Tamurlayn and ruler of Quarth for five years and now his ambition has set its eyes on other citiesâAsshai included.
