An illusive and seductive young man who moves with feminine grace and elegance. Combined with his soft voice and his doll-like face, Nagi is often mistaken for a woman. And that's is just the way he likes it. Because despite being quite happy as a man, Nagi very much enjoys dressing up as a woman. As well as dressing up as a woman, Nagi also enjoys seducing men, preferrably young men who're handsome, and especially when they're already romantically involved with a pretty young girl.

However, he does have his reasons for being quite so malicious. Because he knows no man will ever love him because he's not a woman, and no woman will ever love him while he dresses like a woman, he decides if he cannot find happiness, then others should suffer for it. Besides breaking hearts, Nagi feels very little regret when doing his job, i.e. assassinating various yakuza, and he also enjoys relaxing with a pipe and a bottle of sake after a hot bath and a good meal.

Despite being considered a nasty piece of work, Nagi is arguably less sarcastic, less pushy and more agreeble when he's off duty. He's also quite a good guy to go to when you have relationship problems and need some advice, or a shoulder to cry on. However, be warned, he can be quite the opposite when you aren't in his good books. And there are very few women in a relationship he actually likes.

:: Clothing ::
Despite being a man, the majority of Nagi's clothes are beautiful and feminine kimonos. Plain kimonos are worn during his casual hours, while elaborate, beautifully decorated silk kimonos are worn during his 'working' hours. Wooden sandals with white socks complete the outfit, while occasionally it is accessorised with a equally plain or decorated paper parasole depending upon the kimono.

:: Background ::
Nagi rarely speaks of his background, and not many people know of it, for what Nagi describes as 'good reason'. He was actually born into a poor, farming community in a rural area of Japan surrounded by mountains. He grew up hating his suposed destiny, which was to work the rice paddies, providing food for the table of the royal family, while his own would be on the brink of starvation. However, he sought sanctuary at the local sake brewer's home, a girl named Yuri, who Nagi idolised and worshiped for her beauty. However, for all the kindness and affection she gave to him, he repaid by stealing her finest silk kimono and escaping to the city, where he became a geisha.

However, upon being discovered as a young man at the age of 17, he was sentenced to death, but not before being humiliated before the whole city. Refusing to accept such a fate, Nagi tried to poison himself, but was saved by orders of the captain of the imperial city police of the time. He was then offered a deal; if he could offer his powers of seduction, manipulation and beauty to the police force to help bring down the yakuza, he would not be humliated or put to death. Nagi, not wishing to die so soon and being slightly allured by the thought of working with a collection of strong, possible handsome young men, agreed.

He has been working, disguised as a geisha and a prostitute who then assassinates 'her' yakuza clients before he can, ehem, offer his services.
