Description

Black hair, styled but still messy. Eyes a very dark brown, usually showing up black in photos. He stands at about 5'7", though he will often be spotted slouching with his head down and appear much shorter.

Personality

In a group of people he feels comfortable with (Club Rejects), Joey is a joker with a pretty dorky sense of humor. He’s very friendly and welcoming to any person in his same situation as “merely human”, and very shy and closed off to everyone else. He keeps telling himself that he’s just a late developer and he’ll discover his powers as he gets older, though even he can’t really convince himself of the lie. He is a very determined person though, and often declares that someday everyone will be bowing at his feet. Because of his natural determination, Joey is very hesitant to take on any challenge, knowing that he wouldn’t be able to back down. He tends to be the one that suggests running and hiding as the best option in most situations. Most of his time is spent on a computer, fascinated with music making and mixing software. He’s composed many a lyric-less song. In the case of crushes, Joey will take the secret with him to his grave - if he were to be looked at by the person of interest, his initial reaction would be to turn a bright shade of red and look down as fast as possible.

Family:
Mother: Li-Hua Cheng - Hydrokinesis (Ability to move and manipulate water). She is very supportive of Joey, though she can’t seem to help her mother’s instinct to baby him.

Father: Feng Cheng - Super Strength. Still hoping that Joey will discover his inherited strength. Fairly strict, always talking about Joey’s future.

Sister: Anna Mei-Xing Cheng - super strength. Only 14 moths old, Anna loves to smile at Joey and pick him up by his fingers or toes.
