Tough as nails.
Pickett is loud, funny and loves to laugh. He also has a weakness for strong spirits and tobacco, which he keeps on him in a pouch at all times. Pickett is primarily a social creature, visiting small border towns on the edge of settled territories to trade his crops for supplies, spirits or anything that tickles his fancy. However, he doesn't form relationships as he has both a fear of committment and a fear of losing his partner, as has happened to him before.
He doesn't mind the Comanche. They don't antagonise him, so he doesn't antagonise them. He occasionally trades with them as well.
- His clothes (white cotton shirt, black trousers, brown knee-high boots)
- A Brown Bess musket which has been worn and discolored from years of loving usage. It still works, just not as good as it did when it was new.
- A brace of flintlock pistols that only come out when he needs to defend himself.
- A tomohawk he got from trading with the Comanches.
Also numerous miscellaneous goods he keeps in his house, along with two horses and an ox.
Formerly from the Virginia Colony, Pickett's cotton plantation bankrupted early in his career. Without money and facing debt collectors he couldn't pay, the settler fled west with a few of his belongings. He currently lives on a small farm, eking out an existance while not caring about the debt collectors he lost on the coast, or their problems.
