Troy Donaire is a 24 year old boy from Quezon City Philippines who is finally living his dream.
Troy is a very quiet very content young man who most of the time only speaks when spoken to. Troy always avoids confrontation and never likes to be in a position of power (IE in charge or the leader) He prefers to be told what to do and when to do it. Troy keeps to himself and prefers to solve problems on his own if possible. Troy is what most people would call the strong silent type. Most of the time people have to interact with him over a period of time before he starts showing any sign of friendship or companionship. Troy puts professionalism above all and rarely jokes around or is off focus during a mission or when he is on duty. Though he is quiet and stern Troy is a sucker for a pretty face and usually loses composure when spoken to by a beautiful girl, switching words around, tripping, sweating profusely.
Troy's sunglasses are especially made for him because they help him see in regular colors. He can not see the colors blue and green, so the glasses help filter the colors out for him, corrective surgery was too costly. The sunglasses also have a record and stream function that can give off a beacon along with sending/receiving video recordings. Troy's pocket watch was an heirloom that has been given to the oldest boy in the family for many generations. Troy's knife, which is on his right boot, was the only thing recovered from his father who died in a conflict before Troy was born. Other equipment include the standard issue pistol along with uniforms and recreational clothing.
Troy was born in Quezon City, Philippines while his father was serving in an engagement still classified to this day. Troy grew up the second oldest out of 7 children. Because he was older him and his older brother worked hard in their youth to help support the family while their father was gone. One day when he was 9 years old a marine came to their doorstep and delivered the news that his father had been killed in action and that his body was unrecoverable. At the funeral the family was given the knife which he now carries, originally given to his older brother. When Troy turned 11 his brother Marcus left the family to join an expedition to find planets for a corporation. A year later word came back to the family that contact with his brother's unit had been severed and that no contact had been re-established in over 3 months, a week and a half later a package came Troy consisting of the combat knife and the pocket watch he now carries. At the age of 17 he informed his mother that he would be joining the military to follow his father's footsteps and to provide a better living for his family. When he turned 24 he was honorably discharged with a purple heart having been shot in combat. After spending 4 months with his family he decided to join the search for new planets and hopefully find out what happened to his brother.
