Cal smiled again, this time a little more confidently.
"This is my first year too, i just showed up a few hours ago. Perhaps we could help each other out till we get to know the place better."
Walking over to his luggage, he began to unpack his things and put them away. After a minute or two he sat down on his bed, took off his shoes, and lay against the back wall.

Cal smiled and nodded in agreement. It would be nice to have someone to go exploring with. Sitting up, he reached up towards the ceiling as far as he could in a stretch that felt great. Cal put his shoes back on and looked up at Eleniel.
"I'm a bit hungry, lets go to town and get something to eat first."
Springing to his feet, Cal grinned. He walked through the door disappearing from sight. Then, remembering that she couldn't walk through walls, he turned around and opened the door from the outside and gave the universal, After you gesture.

Eleniel smirked a bit, so that was his power, it probably was quite useful getting into places you were not supposed to go. She generally just picked the lock but walking straight through the door was slightly faster. "Hah so thats what you can do." She said out loud as she walked through the doorway and then towards the exit into town. "That must be useful." Eleniel winked. "I just pick the lock if its locked or open the door personally. You probably would have figured that out anyway since we are roommates."
She then laughed a little bit. "What sort of place would you like to eat? A buffet? Mexican? A nice restaurant? Hmmm or we could just walk into the first place we see. I honestly don't care personally."
