The Standards

Name: Ya know, my last name goes forwards and backwards. You probably didn't notice.
Jordan Armany Markram
Nickname: Nicknames are usually something that don't stick.
Jojo is the only generic nickname that has ever stuck, as Armany doesn't sound much like a good nickname.
Age: Livin life, bitches!
Jordan has reached the age of 25.
Sexuality: It should be obvious, you idiot.
Jordan is strictly heterosexual. His last experience with switching sides went a little wrong.
Which Side?: You think I would get away with all the shit I do if I was with those prissy losers?
Truthfully? Jordan doesn't have much of a side. Since he is a wanted felon according to the Angelics, the Resistance is the only place a man of his talents and reputation can be without sticking out. He doesn't hate them, but they still have a form of government - yuck.

The Specs

Physical: You can tell by looking at me dumbass
Jordan stands roughly 6 feet with a half inch to spare, clocking in at 160 pounds (this is America, f*ck the metric system!)
Clothing: Once again, use your eyes. Or do I need to prescribe you some flipping glasses while I'm here?
Jordan doesn't really wear clothing one would expect form a rugged soldier of the resistance. His clothing is all pretty standard: a pair of shoes, black jeans, anarchy t shirts. The only thing that stands out about him are his assortment of jackets: they are his pride and joy, if you will. Be they a blazer, leather jacket, sports jacket, he has one that fits. Jordan doesn't really know why he likes jackets so much, but he doesn't care.
Scars, Tattoos and Metal: Yeah no. Why don't you run home and play with your dolls or something.
For scars, Jordan doesn't have many real noticeable ones. Sure, all kids have scratches that hadn't faded away from their childhood, but that is about it for Jordan. Tattoos, on the other hand, are things he enjoys having. His arms are his choice of location for his tattoos, and there are too many intertwining with each other to go into real detail. His favourites, however, include his robot shoulder, and his forearms. On the left he has a snake that winds through the other tattoos and ends at his palm, while the left has a swarm of spiders and their webs tangled throughout his left arm tattoos to which ends with a spider on his left palm. Piercings are where he draws the line, however, as he doesn't enjoy having pieces of metal in his body.

Personality: I'm just a product of society. Yeah, that's right: I'm f*cked up.
Summing up Jordan would be difficult, but since he is also quite simplistic it isn't that hard. To put it simply, Jordan is a dry, sarcastic and rude person that doesn't really give a rat's ass about most people other than himself. He rarely takes anybody seriously, and will just make rude jokes at them unless they actually have 'earned' his attention. To compliment - if that even is the right word - his sarcasm runs a chaotic nature deep within Jordan's soul. Nothing can ever really pin him down, as he doesn't care about orders, rules, regulations, anything. To Jordan, everybody else's life is expendable, and loyalty doesn't really run that high on words used very often.

Now, this would come to seriously kill Jordan if he also didn't have a code of conduct that keeps himself in check. Rule one is that Jordan only obeys those stronger than himself. While Jordan is a highly capable fighter (don't let him fool you - that talkative jerk knows how to dish it out) he also recognizes those that are better than him and respects their strength. In a sick way, he respects them, and wishes to achieve and surpass their strength in order to pursue his own goals. Rule 2 is that he will follow the rules of the faction that he is in, regardless of how much they piss him off. Factions, after all, are a means to an end for Jordan. However, they are always useful to have, so pissing them off isn't high on his list. Rule 3 is his closely guarded secret: he who saves another 3 times, owns that man until the three saves has been repaid. Only once has Jordan had to initiate this rule upon himself, as only one (someone that Jordan shall never reveal of his own free will) has saved him three times.

Underneath his quote on quote 'silly' rules lies a very, very angry man. This anger of his just stays under the surface, not fully able to show its true raging nature, but not quite able to be suppressed. After all that had happened to Jordan, he hasn't been able to let go of said anger, which has made him into a very vengeance driven man. He will do whatever it takes to achieve his goals, as they ultimately will end with him destroying everything and anything that has made him into what he is today. In a sick way, he refuses to take responsibility for how he as turned out, which is quite childish.

This anger, however, has spawned his fear of insanity. There are times when Jordan fears his own hands might turn against him, for his anger is not just directed outwards, but inwards at his own being. There are days when Jordan nearly ended it on himself, but didn't due to varying reasons. Regardless, Jordan fears that his own anger, that which drives him, will also drive him insane - then what could he accomplish? Nothing - a mad man is useless for carrying out missions and goals. While a mad man appeals to his chaotic nature, there is also the sense that becoming insane would be relenting to the machine that created him, relenting to the society that drove him this way. And Jordan refuses to do so.

During missions, Jordan is a front line guerrilla weapons expert. Most firearms can be and will be used by Jordan, regardless of what they are. Pistols are his favourite, but he can literally use anything that requires gunpowder. When it comes to hand to hand combat, Jordan isn't as proficient. He is still better than many, but not as good as some of the fighters in the Resistance. It doesn't matter to Jordan though - Punches aren't as effective as they used to be on him. After years of torment, he has gotten used to pain, and uses that factor to beat opponents that think they can get in close for a kill. Sure, sharp objects and bullets hurt like a bitch, but he can shrug off fists any day.

History: Get the f*ck away from me, before I shoot you in the face. You hear me!?

Jordan's tale is not as messed up as he thinks it is. Okay, maybe that is lying a little.

Jordan was born in the suburbs of the Bronx to a middle class couple named Mark and Helena. Both only in their early twenties, they hadn't expected Jordan to be with them this early in their life, and immediately thought of putting him up for adoption. However, for unknown reasons, they kept the little kid and decided to raise him. Since they both had jobs, they had Helen's Uncle Henry watch over Jordan while they worked - Henry was probably the only person Jordan ever felt cared for him. The first ten years of Jordan's life remained this uninteresting way - parents were always gone, and Uncle Henry mostly ignored baby Jordan as he grew up - still, Jordan felt more connection to old Henry than either of his parents.

Something had always been different with Jordan: while the other kids played and shared, he was figuring the best way to torment the most people at once in his school. The kids made crafts, he made glue bombs. However, since his parents never noticed, his personality flaws went unchecked - the teachers couldn't do anything about him either, as they were normally too busy trying to find out who did such atrocities. When Jordan turned 12, he started getting really sick and tired of his parents and great Uncle Henry always ignoring him. This caused Jordan to 'fall in with the wrong crowd' as people would call it, as those still existed in the strict world with tight laws and such. His chaotic nature got worse as he pulled bigger pranks, got a dryer sense of humor, and wrecked havoc on the civilians of the Bronx. It was then that his parents finally noticed, and Jordan felt happy when they yelled at him - they were finally giving him the attention a starving child needed.

Until his parents realized that they didn't have to deal with his shit, and were fed up with him already. So what did they do? Why, call up the government to get their kid hauled away at 13 to a camp for troubled delinquents - more like a torture camp for kids that needed to change their route of thinking. For the next two years of Jordan's life, it was all a blur of depravity, being restrained to tables and questioned, and being forced to beat up kids to keep himself safe. His parents would come to visit, and when they didn't see 'progress' they showed their discontent in their kid. However, this didn't matter - all Jordan saw were hues of red when they showed up. They had put him in this hell hole, and it was their fault for the crap he was going through. When he was finally considered acceptable - he figured out how to dupe the system - they released him, but not to his parents. No, they wanted nothing to do with him. Instead, they released him on the drunkard relative of Old Man George. Jordan thought that with a drunkard, he would be able to get out without him noticing. Boy was he wrong.

George locked Jordan in his basement. Yep, that was his way of saying 'Screw you kid!'. Down in the basement was wear Jordan realized he had a fear of rats and mice, as they constantly were running around, sometimes even crawling over his body or nibbling his toes. He would scream to the floor and then attempt to kill them with his worn out shoes. Every day went on the same: Jordan would be escorted to school, told that he was a loser, then sent home to the basement. This was his lifestyle for the next two years of his life, when something went horribly wrong. The basement door opened one day while Jordan was fending off the rats, and the next thing he knew he was being pinned down to a table. George was not only drunk, but going senile while developing Alzheimers - he believed Jordan to be one of his naughty prostitutes from his earlier years named Marlie. The first night, Jordan was simply restrained and was forced to listen to the drunk man 'talk dirty' to him and then leave. It would make sense now that Jordan began to fear bondage, as it also brought back horrible memories of the prison.

Jordan was now 17, and his situation seemed hopeless. Somedays he would be restrained to that same old table, sometimes only released after the rats decided to chew through the rope thinking it to be food. On the other days, Jordan began to work out and pretend fight, hoping to get rid of his pent up aggression towards George, and especially towards his parents - after all, they were the reason he was there in the first place. Jordan would train himself to near exhaustion, and pass out for a few hours to awaken on that stupid table and creepy old George. 3 weeks after George started tiyng up the kid, he went on to faze two of his senility. Before, George would only stop harassing Jordan as he would snap out of his walking dreams, then wonder what in the hell he was doing downstairs. This time, he didn't. The next few days for Jordan were ones burned into his memory, as they have scarred him for life. Needless to say, he fears and hates the elderly now. As these days turned into a week, Jordan couldn't take it anymore.

Instead of training, Jordan stayed awake until George came back down - 24 hours, in fact. When he did, Jordan killed him by mercilessly beating the old man. Jordan then lit the house on fire, and ran. At 17, Jordan was done with the world, and had two options that he could see: either commit suicide to put himself out of his possible insanity and misery, or destroy all those that got him where he was now. He chose the later.

Jordan first started running with a small band of resistance - not The Resistance, mind you - when he hit 18. It was then that he learned how to use firearms, how to shoot Angelics, guerrilla tactics, and more. By the time that the entire resistance force was destroyed, which was roughly a year later, Jordan had learned the basics of nearly every firearm. It was with this gang that he began realizing that his mind could be deteriorating due to his embrace of such a chaotic nature and hatred. To curb this, Jordan came up with a set of silly rules to live by, and took them extremely seriously to see if they would actually work: long story short, they sure as hell did.

He targeted his family when he turned 21. Now a serious wanted felon, Jordan knew that getting back at his parents would be harder than if he had just done it right from the start of his rage. The problem? They wanted to leave him behind for good, and decided to move downtown - Jordan couldn't trace them. By 21 though, he found them, and tracked them down in downtown New York. Mark had become a seriously talented businessman, wielding riches that Jordan had never seen in his father's hands when he was a kid. His mother, who was a hard working lady, had become a trophy wife. Both sickened him. If it hadn't been for him being a little too ambitious, they would be dead by now, and his life would be meaningless. While sneaking onto the property, he got a little too rambunctious and simply set the large house ablaze. At this point, he didn't care; he just wanted to see his parents burn for their abandoment of him, for deciding he wasn't good enough for them and starting a new, more 'rule friendly' family without him. Jordan then escaped just in the nick of time, only to hear on the news that the Angelics saved both of his parents and two of their new children, but the one died. Jordan felt no remorse, but also felt nothing from the death of an innocent child.

After two more years of plotting and being on the run, he was nearly caught by the Angelics - realizing that he would be screwed if he didn't do something, he hooked up with the Resistance, hoping that through them, the world would burn.

Theme Song: The Wretched - The Word Alive
You're dead to me.
It might be hard to understand.
I'll show the world who you really are.
So just step aside.
So let this be the beginning.
The time of liars and thieves is descending.
And let this be your warning,
the path of the wretched is burning.

I thought I knew you now you can't save your name. (We won't follow the deceiver)
Don't try to silence my words with your lies. (We won't follow the deceiver)

What were you searching for when you stabbed me in the back?
What were you lying for when we gave you all you had?

I finally see that you've fallen away
from the bond that we had I fear it won't be the same.
I thought I knew you but you threw it away.
Now you're dead to me (fuck you).

I thought I knew you now you can't save your name. (We won't follow the deceiver)
Don't try to silence my words with your lies. (We won't follow the deceiver)
This is what I expected, another life lesson is what I'm left with.
Look at what you've started...
A war of words is what we'll part with.

So don't act like you don't know exactly what you really are.
The truth will find us both in the end, in the end.
The difference being that it will show me blameless while it robs you of your breath.
Your deceiving is worthy of receiving an end.
So don't act like you don't know what you are my friend.

I thought I knew you now you can't save your name. (We won't follow the deceiver)
This is what I expected, another life lesson is what I'm left with.
Look at what you've started, a war of words is what we'll part with.
This is what I expected, another life lesson is what I'm left with.
Look at what you've started, a war of words is all we'll part with.

You're dead to me
So don't act like you don't know

Anything else: Jordan loves kiwis. Random yes, but unreasonably stupid? Nooope.

So begins...
