Appearance:
Shikari in his human form. If you're thinking that can't possibly be a bloodthirsty, ruthless killer, then you are entirely wrong--and that is why Shikari uses it. No one expects a young man who looks at most 18 with a frail, small build to be a brutal hunter--no one would think he was even capable of hurting a fly. In this form he stands at 5'4, and weights a weakling 120 pounds; in fact, because Shikari has in all his years never cared to perfect the ability to impersonate a human, the only indication he gives of being a human is an occasional flash of scarlet in his eyes.
The true Shikari is vastly different, ugly even for a demon. The beast stands eight feet tall, with a huge, burly build. His skin is charcoal black, thick and hard, almost like a layer of armour. His face, while bearing vague humanoid similarities, is like that of a monster from a horror film; his mouth is lined with long, pointed teeth, some chipped or broken, and his eyes are orange-yellow, with slit-like pupils. While on the hunt he wears a mask so that his victims do not see his face until he is about to kill them; the mask, smooth and tribal-like in appearance with a pair of long, wicked tusks Shikari took from a beast he had hunted, covers his head and face, allowing his hair, braided into a dreadlock-like style, to remain free.
Name: Shikari is the name he has taken and the name he is known by to his demon comrades. However, while a human Shikari uses the name 'Nitsuda Kuroda' (using the naming system that is utilised in Japan, his prime 'hunting' area; therefore Kuroda is the given name and Nitsuda is the surname).
Age: Shikari as a demon is several hundred years old, though his human appearance of course does not reflect that.
Gender: Male
Personality: When taking the guise of a human, Shikari forces himself to appear quiet, detached...perhaps even vulnerable. The appearance of 'Nitsuda Kuroda' gives no indication of any particular physical strength or agility, so it is quite easy to assume he is entirely weak and helpless; Shikari uses this to his advantage while he plans his moves. Unlike most demons, who kill whomever they desire when they desire, Shikari has garnered a reputation for 'playing' with his prey. Sometimes he may approach them as a human, getting to know them, coming to understand them on a personal level. It is not unknown for Shikari to spend as much as an entire month on one particular person before he finally moves in for the kill. Shikari is also known to kidnap a human, take them to a secluded space like a forest or a field, and then release them. Sometimes he will even arm them with some sort of weapon, releasing them with a 'head start' to make the hunt more enjoyable before Shikari himself goes after them. Despite this, Shikari derives his greatest pleasure when he takes on an opponent who actually stands a chance against him, such as a demon hunter. He is an unquestionable sadist, relishing in the terror and fear his victims feel in the last moments of life before he removes them permanently. Besides this, Shikari is lacking in characteristics that would make him seem more like a human-like creature and less like a beast--knowing personality can be exploited and used against one, he never allows his to become apparent.
Likes: Violence, hunting, fighting, challenges, images of gloom and darkness
Dislikes: Overt optimism, bright lights, great happiness
Hobbies: Well, as a demon it isn't as if he can claim to be a fan of reading mangas and watching soppy romance movies. Of course the only 'hobby' Shikari has is the hunt. It is his sole interest, nothing else could possibly entertain him more.
Weapons: Shikari utilises various blade weapons, and enjoys giving them a tribal appearance, making inscriptions on them of words and symbols. He has two blades with serrated edges that can be secured around his wrists so that he can still use his hands, maximising his combat capabilities. These are his main weapons of choice, and he also uses his own two hands to fight.
Skills: Shikari's main advantage is his great physical power, which allows him to send the strongest of ordinary humans flying through the air with a single powerful blow. In addition to this is the skill that gained Shikari his infamous name: his tracking abilities. Gained over many years of his unique style of killing humans, Shikari has cultured his skill, to the point where he can notice minuscule details--tiny signs that will give away, perhaps, how armed his opponents are, or how many there are.
History: Shikari has been hunting humans for almost four hundred years, and there is little to say of that time.
