Jasper can often be seen in one of two lights. He is an outwardly cool and collected person, often reserved and secretive and has even been called 'broody' before. He can be bitter, with a dry humour. On the other hand, when caught unawares or with those he is consciously at ease around, he is warm, caring, kind and altruistic. Jaz is almost always rather level headed and relaxed, unless something causes him to lose his temper. He can sometimes have a short temper, but rather than force his unpleasant company on others, he'll remove himself from public. When like that, he can be violent, confrontational and aggressive.

Jaz is very loyal, and he consciously loves most of the people in his life to some extent, though normally as just a friend. He reads others well, and although he can be a good liar, it can be easy for some others to read his true thoughts regardless. He loves easily, and often gets hurt because of it, but would always rather laugh it off than admit to it. Jasper has a good sense of humour. He is light hearted and warm, and rarely takes things too seriously. He's always making jokes, and is completely okay with others of a less humourous nature.

In life, Jasper was a very different person. He had a comfortable upbringing, with parents that loved each other until his mother passed away. They had been driving home from the movies one night, when their car slipped on ice. Just another statistic, it was another stereotypical road traffic accident. They'd slipped off the road to land in a ditch at the side. His father suffered a few minor injuries, as did Jasper. His mother was unfortunately not so lucky. She survived the impact, but passed away in hospital from internal bleeding.

It took some time for his life to settle back into normality. His father remarried a few years later and had a baby with his new step-mother, who he treated with a dispassionate acceptance. On the other hand, he doted upon his little sister, and loved nothing more than reading to her when she couldn't sleep. Throughout his early life, he was a good student, and with a little extra studying found his way to a respected medical school. He trained to become a paramedic, a job that he loved from day one.

Unfortunately, his job is also the reason he passed away. There was a collapse at a dock warehouse, and Jasper died inside searching for a patient that had already escaped.
