Personality

Bartz is a courageous young man with a strong sense of justice. He started out as just a carefree wanderer, but as he got more and more involved in the quest to defend Planet R's crystals from Exdeath, he eventually became more of a leader, and well...more of a hero. While playful and immature at times, he is actually quite skilled in battle.

Likes: His friends and allies, seeing new sights, and Chocobos. (He has a pet Chocobo named Boco.)
Dislikes: Gilgamesh, heights, and Exdeath.
Hobbies: Dancing, traveling, and practicing his mimicry abilities.

Alternate Outfits:

"White Mist Cape": Based on an alternate Amano artwork, which depicts him with a zebra-striped shirt, a red cloth around his waist, black and white leggings with white boots, white hair, and a blue Brave Blade.

"Freelancer": based on his original sprite appearance in Final Fantasy V, with differently styled hair, blue eyes, a blue tunic, white pants, and green boots. His EX Mode mirrors his appearance from the original Super Famicom box art for Final Fantasy V, giving him a differently styled cape that wraps around the neck with a yellow emblem.

"Dancer": Based on his dancer outfit, giving Bartz a red shirt, black pants, and a green sash. This look's EX Mode adds the three "mastery" stars above his head, but he doesn't have a cape.

[center]EX Mode {Job Mastered}: Three stars appear above his head, and his appearance changes slightly.

EX Burst {Master Mime}: Uses a combination of Spellblade, Dual Wield, and Rapid Fire to unleash a devastating combo utilizing his allies' weapons. However, if it doesn't connect then he loses EX Mode and has to charge it back up to attempt EX Burst again.

History

A wanderer hailing from the town of Lix, on Planet R. He originally traveled the world just to see the sights, and stumble upon new places and discoveries. But, eventually he got caught up in a quest to save the four crystals from the powerful sorcerer, Exdeath. Joining up with Reina, Galuf, Faris, and later Krile{who took Galuf's place after he lost his life facing Exdeath alone}...Bartz and Co. defeated Exdeath and restored balance to their world. At another point in time, Bartz was summoned by Cosmos to battle against the forces of Chaos, along with several other heroes from different worlds.

Bartz Klauser (FF5) was apparently in the area as well, and overheard a bit of the conversation between Faris, Hector, and Lightning. He then ran over to the group, and stopped in front of Faris, and Lightning. "Hey, what are you guys doing? Chaos and his goons are the real enemy! We shouldn't be fighting each other!" he said, trying to prevent fellow Warriors of Cosmos from quarreling.
