(Character credit goes to Square Enix / Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers.)

Name: Layle

Race: Clavat.
Class: Telekinetic Bearer.
Age: 21.
Hair Color: Blonde. (A bit curly, and he has sideburns.)
Eye Color: Grey.
Height: 5' 8". (Guessing.)
Weight: 145 lbs. (Guessing.)
Build: Athletic, and well-toned.

Possible Assists: Brandt, Kaze, and other Warriors of Cosmos.

Personality

Layle is rather confident in his abilities as a Crystal Bearer, sometimes even a bit overconfident. He can be a bit of a troublemaker, and a bit of a womanizer too. Back in his world, he became a wanted criminal for using his Bearer powers in public. He probably doesn't have to worry about that as much in World B. He's very suave, and knows almost every type of ballroom dance.

Likes: Sports, ghost stories, and hanging out with Belle and Keiss.
Dislikes: Chocobos, old people, and Jegran.
Hobbies: Kickerbaul, skydiving, and surfing. (Kickerbaul is his world's equivalent to Soccer.)
Sexuality: Straight.
Relationship Status: Single.

Crystal: Crystal Idol.

Victory Pose: Brushes his thumb against his nose, and then walks away while waving with the back of his hand to the enemy.

Equipment

Weapon: Gravity Shard. (He doesn't have any real weapon, but he uses his powers which come from the crystal in his cheek.)

Bravery Attacks:

Gravity Punch{Ground}: Layle punches the enemy, enhancing the punch with his crystal bearer powers. A short ranged attack with an 80% chance of a critical, and a 50% chance of breaking through the opponent's defenses.

Gravity Roll{Ground}: Uses crystal bearer powers to enhance the impact as he rolls into the enemy.

Surfin' Layle{Ground}: Layle assumes the pose he did when surfing in his game and slides towards the enemy.

Gravity Capture{Ground}: Traps the enemy in a gravity field and lifts them up over his head, keeping them there for a while to steal some of their Bravery without physically hitting them.

Easier Than Riding A Chocobo{Ground}: Summons a Chocobo which Layle jumps on, stays in effect until Layle is knocked off or the Chocobo is sent away. Running into the enemy while riding the Chocobo damages them. "Easier said than done!"

Throw Object{Ground}: Finds an object in the arena that he can throw at the enemy using his powers, there are different throw-able objects based on the arena.

Crystal Beam{Ground}: Flings hunks of crystal energy at the enemy.

Toss Up{Ground / Aerial}: Hooks onto the enemy, trapping them in a Gravity field, and then throws them up and over himself.

Throw Down{Ground / Aerial}: Hooks onto the enemy, trapping them in a Gravity field, and then throws them down at the ground.

Left Throw{Ground / Aerial}: Hooks onto the enemy, trapping them in a Gravity field, and then throws them to the left.

Right Throw{Ground / Aerial}: Hooks onto the enemy, trapping them in a Gravity field, and then throws them to the right.

Gravity Kick{Aerial}: Does a sort of drop kick powered by Layle's crystal power. Same effect as his punch.

Crystal Beam{Aerial}: Flings hunks of crystal energy at the enemy.

Sky Dive{Aerial}: Summons the gun from the opening sequance of Crystal Bearers, and fires at the opponent from above.

[center]HP Attacks:

Gravity Crush{Ground}: Pushes the enemy to the ground with great force.

Crystal Throw{Ground}: An HP version of throw, but to be fair it doesn't fling as far.

Gravity Cannon{Ground}: Hurls balls of crystal energy at the enemy. Has great tracking.

Excalibur{Ground}: Picks up and chucks the Crystal Chronicles version of Excalibur at the enemy, using his crystal powers.

Gravity Wave{Ground}: Fires a wave of crystal energy at the enemy, if charged can fire up to three.

Crystal Throw{Aerial}: An HP version of throw, but to be fair it dosn't fling as far.

[center]EX Mode{Crystal Reactor}: Layle's bearer powers are enhanced and he gains a crystal hoverboard, with his body being more crystallized also affecting his clothes. Can hover every jump and is a lot faster than normal. His attack and defence also dramatically increase.Picture Link.

EX Burst{This Is The End For You!}: Layle hooks onto the enemy and traps them in a gravity field like his normal throw attacks, and then throws them in all four directions before latching on again and pulling himself towards them, piercing them with his crystal hoverboard and causing an explosion.

[center]Alternate Outfits:

His default outfit consists of a yellow shirt covered by a jacket with fur on it's sleeves and collar, and chainmail woven into the shoulders of the jacket. He also wears black pants with studs on the back. His jacket has the Clavat symbol on the white part on the back. In all of his outfits he wears rings on his middle and ring fingers on both hands. He also wears earrings fairly often too.

"Selkie Guild": Based on his appearance when he's in the vicinity of the Selkie Guild. From the Guild itself, to the beach of Costa Faguita. In this outfit, he wears a yellow t-shirt with the Selkie symbol on both the front and the back, and black board shorts.

"Tribal Unity": Based on his appearance when he sneaks into the Tribal Unity Ball. In this outfit, he wears a tuxedo with a bow-tie, and black dress pants.

History

If you have The Crystal Bearers and haven't played it, I recommend that you play it. One, it's a cool game. Two, it'll help you know Layle better. Basically though, he started out as a mercenary for hire along with his friend Keiss. In the beginning of the game they got a job escorting an airship, the Alexis, on a test flight. Layle was disappointed with the boring mission, but then a swarm of Zu showed up and made things interesting. Layle jumped off the escort craft holding a large gatling gun with his Gravity powers to shoot down the Zu as he descended towards the deck of the Alexis. Shortly after landing on the deck, he encountered a mysterious Yuke which he nicknamed "Goldenrod". He then found out that "Goldenrod", whose real name is Amidatelion, was trying to restore the Yuke's tribal crystal, and eventually decided to help by collecting the Crystal Idols. He has been summoned to World B as a Warrior of Cosmos.

Layle (Crystal Chronicles) shook his head at Crono. "No, sorry. I just got here, so I don't really know that much about this place. I heard some other people talking about having to look for crystals though." he replied.
