In a world controlled by the Division, you have only one choice: Join or Fight. Who's side are you on?

4,220 readers have visited Division since Dreamalot106 created it.

Introduction

Someday a girl is going to give you a flower. You got that? A flower. And you have to help her, Nick. You help her and you help us all.

It started in 1945. The Nazis were conducting experiments in psychic warfare, trying to turn those with psychic abilities into soldiers. Lots of us died. The war ended, but the experiments never stopped. Other governments around the world set up what they called "Divisions," trying to do waht the Nazis couldn't, to turn us into weapons. The Division's agents are trained to track and hunt us down like animals, take us away from our families and friends. They test us and categorize us.

I'm what they call a "Watcher." We can see the future, even if that's not always as simple as it sounds. Others are called "movers," just an easy way of saying "telekinetic." "Pushers" put thought in your heads and make whatever lie they come up with the truth. "Sniffs," "Shifters," "Shadows," "Bleeders," it goes on and on. In Division's eyes, we're all just lab rats.

Only one problem: we keep dying.

No one has ever survived the drug meant to boost our powers.

That is, until Kira.

Carver, a pusher and American Division agent, is dead. Another pusher named Kira's alignment is unknown, but is assumed to be for the rebellion. Cassie, a watcher, and Nick, a mover, have gone into hiding; the syringe with the drug is still in their possession. Hook Waters, a shifter, Emily Hu, a sniff, and a shadow named Pinky, all live their lives, acting as if nothing else ever happened but continue to help Cassie and Nick on their plan to shut down Division permanently.

And now, so are you.

TYPERS OF SUPERHUMANS

Watchers
Watchers have the ability to foresee the future to varying degrees. As knowledge of the future invariably causes that future to change, Watchers' visions of the future in their direct sphere of influence are subject to frequent shifting. Most Watchers carry a sketchpad around with them to draw what they see. Even though most aren't the best of artists, they can usually get the main idea of their visions down. The most powerful Watcher known is Cassie Holmes's mom, who is currently being held in the core of Division.

Movers
Movers are powerful telekinetics who are trained to identify the specific atomic frequency of a given material and alter the gravitational field around it, usually causing the nearby air to appear warped. This allows them to move both animate and inanimate objects. Advanced Movers can work at the molecular level, creating protective force fields in the air around them or to reinforce punches and other strikes to make them stronger. The most advanced Movers usually have been recruited by Division or hunted down, though there are still a few out there who Division needs to fear.

Pushers
Pushers have the ability to implant memories, thoughts and emotions into the minds of other people in order to manipulate them. The skill level of the Pusher determines how many people the Pusher is able to control at one time, and how vivid the implanted memories are. A powerful Pusher can push a large group of people at the same time, basically creating a personal army. A Pusher is able to make a person do anything the Pusher desires, even commit suicide. A Pusher's eyes indicate how powerful they are: their pupils will dilate to certain degrees depending on how powerful the push is (for example, Henry Carver's eyes are rendered completely black, signifying that he is an extremely able and effective Pusher).

Bleeders
Bleeders have the ability to emit high-pitched sonic vibrations that cause ruptures in a target's blood vessels. While using this ability, their eyes turn into slits because of synthetic materials implanted in them to protect the blood vessels from the effects of their own ability. They are also sometimes known as Screechers or Screamers. Most people agree that being killed by a Bleeder is the most painful way to go. For a powerful leeder is only takes three seconds to make a person start bleeding out of their ears and fifteen seconds to cause their brains to explode and die. Bleeders wear sunglasses at all times to hide their abnormal eyes, except whenever they are screaming.

Sniffs
Sniffs are highly developed psychometrics who can track the location of people or objects over varying distances. Like bloodhounds, their ability is increased if they have tactile access to an object that has been in direct contact with the subject. Sniffs receive information in the form of images, which is why identifiable landmarks help increase their effectiveness. They work by sense of smell and touch, always wearing gloves wenever they aren't trying to find someone. They are the natural bounty hunters of the superhumans and usually work for personal gain.

Shifters
Shifters can temporarily alter the appearance of an object by manipulating the patterns of light interacting with it. Once the illusion is established, it remains with the object for a short period of time. For example, a Shifter could touch a one dollar bill and alter it to appear as a one hundred dollar bill until the effect expires. The object shifted must have roughly the same dimensions as the object it is shifted into. The length of time that the effect will last is based on the Shifter's experience and ability. Not even the most powerful of Shifters can cause something to change permanently.

Wipers
Wipers are skilled at either temporarily or permanently erasing memory, an invaluable asset in espionage. Experience will dictate the accuracy of their wipes, though there is always the danger that they will eliminate a desired memory. Wipers also normally work only for personal gain, preferring to stay neutral in the wars between Division and the superhumans.

Shadows
Shadows are trained to block the vision of other clairvoyants such as Sniffs, making any subject within their target radius appear "dark". Experience will enhance the size of the area they can shadow and the intensity of their shielding effect. Shadows need to be awake to manifest their ability, so it is common for a detail of two Shadows to operate in shifts while protecting a person or object for extended periods. Most Shadows are effective only against Sniffs, but some extremely powerful Shadows are able to block even Watchers. Shadows normally can't hide big objects like cars or buildings, only an object inside of them, but it is known that there are some extremely powerful Shadows in the world who are able to shield entire buildings from both Sniffs and Watchers.

Stitches
Stitches are psychic surgeons trained to quickly reconstruct cells to their previous or healthy state. Using only their hands, they can heal and even "unheal" whatever they have done. For more detailed work, Stitches use a silver based cream on their hands which acts as a conductor for their ability. Being healed is a very painful process for the person the Stitch is working on, and afterwards they are very sore, as if they just worked out and used muscles they normally don't use, but this side effect is only temporary and usually lasts only a couple hours or so.

Toggle Rules

All the basic RP rules apply, and if you want to do anything rated R or higher take it to PM and get OOC permission!!
There can be romance, violence, fights, etc etc - just no one hit KOs, you must let the other people respond unless you're fighting a NPC, then it must make sense!
Again, anything above PG-13 or high MUST be taken to the PMs!
Cussing is okay if tasteful but try to keep it on a minimum!
There will be at least two rounds of posting before anyone gets killed. I want to be able to get to know your characters first. What are they like? Which side are they on? How much control do they have over their power? How do they use their power in everyday life?
Only human characters please, anything else and you dont get accepted. This is a realistic rp.

You MUST post at least once every other day. I want this to be a fast paced roleplay so if you're going to join you're going to commit! If you don't post after 3 days your character will be killed! (Once you die you can make a new character if it's not too late or pick up an NPC.)
If you need to drop out that's fine I can kill your character or pass it off to someone else!
NO ONE LINERS! Must have at least FIVE lines per post! Please be aware of grammar, punctuation and spelling!

Robbie

Hong Kong, China
"Ninety-nine... One-hundred." Robbie finishes his normal round of sit-ups with a grunt and unfolds his hands from behind his head, laying on the floor for a minute or two. He turns his head to the side and stretches his arm out. Concentrating, he picks up the towel laying a few feet away from him and pulls it over. It drops to the floor right before he grabs it. "Again! What is wrong with me?" Robbie mutters grabbing the towel and sitting up. He wipes the sweat off his face and the back of his neck then gets up. He goes into the small bathroom in his apartment and washes his face, brushes his teeth, and then jumps in the shower.

He's just stepping out of the shower when he hears the sound of his apartment door being opened. Wrapping a towel around his waist, Robbie steps out of the bathroom and picks up the two guns sitting on the dresser next to the bathroom door. He drops the guns and raises them up above his head as he steps into the main part of the living room.

"Put the guns down handsome. It's just me," comes a silky, seductive voice behind his right ear. He whips around to face the brunette behind him.

"Sylvia!" he blurts, his eyebrows raising up, the guns clattering to the floor behind him.

"Yes?" she asks, moving closer to him. She trails a finger up Robbie's chest, causing him to shudder under her touch. "Relax honey, I'm not gonna hurt you. Not this time. The Division agents after you might though."

"Division agents?!" Robbie steps back away from Sylvia quickly, going to glance out of the window. Sylvia laughs and sits on the counter behind her.

"You are too easy to lie to," Sylvia says, running a hand through her thick, curly brown locks. Robbie turns and glares at her. "Paranoid too."

"You would be too Sylvia if you knew what was good for you." Robbie stalks past her, picking his guns up off the floor, going back into his bedroom. He puts his guns on top of the dresser and jerks open one of the drawers, pulling out some clean boxers. He drops the towel and pulls the boxers on then picks up a pair of jeans off the floor and starts pulling them on.

"But you see, I do know what's good for me. That's why I'm joining them," Sylvia coos as she walks into the bedroom. She sits on the bed and crosses her legs, leaning back on her hands. Robbie turns towards her with an upraised eyebrow. "You heard me sweetheart. I'm joining the Division."

"Which Division could possibly want a Stitch like you Sylv?"

"The Oriental Division."

Robbie scoffs. "You're going to them? Why?" He pulls a shirt out of a lower dresser drawer and pulls it on, then picks a light blue hoodie up from a chair against the wall and pulls it on, leaving the front unzipped.

"Maybe because I've been offered a high priority job that involves me traveling around Asia to find scattered POP Father followers."

"POP Father followers? I thought they were all dead. Carver and his croonies ended them I thought."

"So did I, but apparently not. And they're using their powers. So the NAD, the OD, and several of Europe's multitude of Divisions are all out looking for them and any other specials that are using their powers out in public. Which is why you need to start laying low."

"Wow Sylvia. You actually sound like you care about me!" Robbie says sarcastically, pulling on a pair of tennis shoes. Sylvia gets up from the bed and grabs Robbie's guns, causing him to freeze. She rolls her eyes and hands him the guns, but Robbie continues watching her with a wary eye.

"Why do you act like I'm going to hurt you first chance I get?"

"Maybe because last time we were together you basically crippled me and I had to literally beg at your feet before you'd even put me back on mine."

Sylvia sighs. "Robbie, I just want you to lay low for a while. You've been answering a lot of calls lately."

"Yeah and I'm starting to rack up the dough too," Robbie cuts in with a cocky grin, sticking his guns in the waist band of his jeans.

"Yeah I know. And if you're not careful, you're going to catch Division's attention and I'm not going to be able to stop them from getting you. Not if I want to keep my cover in the OD from being blown."

Robbie's eyebrows shoot up high. "Cover?"

"I've joined the rebellion as well."

"Good for you Sylvia! Now don't get yourself killed. You may be able to heal others, but don't forget you can't heal yourself."

"I know, I know Robbie. You don't have to remind me. Now do yourself a favor. Use that extra cash you've got and hire yourself a shadow. You're going to need one. This war, it's only going to get worse. Especially since Carver's dead."

Robbie sighs and thinks about it for a minute. "How about this? I'll lay low, stop using my power, drop off the radar for a while okay? But I'm not hiring myself a shadow. Okay?"

"Okay. Just be careful Robbie." Sylvia stands and kisses Robbie's cheek. "I wouldn't want anything to happen to you. I can't heal everything you know."

"I know. And you don't have to worry about me Sylvia. I'm a big boy. I don't need anyone to take care of me. I can do that myself."

"Yeah, I know. That's what I'm worried about." Sylvia gives Robbie a smile then leaves the apartment, closing the door behind her. Robbie sighs again and sits on the edge of his bed, running a hand over his face.

"Carver's dead... This is gonna cause some major shit for the rebellion now," he mutters, getting up and leaving the apartment as well, going the opposite way of Sylvia.

Tessa

Hong Kong, China
"Mmmmm.... That was delicious Mei! I love your cooking," Tessa says to the young Chinese woman bustling around in the large kitchen.

"Thank you Miss Tessa," the woman says with a smile. "Now clean up your place and get ready for our day in the market together."

"Okay." Tessa picks up her bowl, plate, and chopsticks and takes them over to the sink, gently dropping them into the soapy water. She washes them and watches as Mei cleans up the rest of the mess left by their meal. "Hey Mei, what are we doing in the market today?"

"Well, we're going to go shopping for dinner tonight, and we're going to look for a suitable and modest dress for you, then maybe we can-" she pauses and blinks, as if she forgot what she was going to say.

"Then maybe we can go to the mall afterwards. Isn't that what you were going to say?" Tessa looks at Mei, talking normally, if not a little slowly, her eyes completely black. "You saw they're having a sale on your favorite item there. So you were planning on going and letting me go hang out with some of my friends tonight. We talked about this last night. My father said it was okay with him, so we made plans. We were going to go to the market, and I was going to pick out what we're going to have for dinner, then you're going to give me dad's card so I can go pick out some new outfits then go to a movie with some friends. And I have no curfew tonight," she tacks on to the end.

"Right Miss Tessa," Mei says slowly, the "memories" of them making plans the night before filling her mind.

"Good," Tessa says, her eyes returning to normal. She finishes washing the dishes and puts them away. She turns to Mei and smiles. "Let me grab my purse real fast and then we can go!"

"Okay Miss Tessa, I'll wait at the door for you." Tessa smiles and goes to her bedroom real fast, grabbing her sling purse from her bed. She grabs the gun out of her bed side table drawer and stuffs it into her purse, then slips her knee-high high tops on, zipping the backs up quickly, and joins Mei at the front door. They leave and walk towards the market.

-----Half-Hour Later-----

"Bye Mei, have fun at the mall. I'll see you at the house later!!" Tessa waves to the housekeeper then runs off down a side street. She slows to a walk as she joins the throng of people walking on the sidewalks. She casually walks to a bike rack and takes a pin out of her hair. She sticks the pin into the lock on the chain holding one of the bikes to the rack, quickly jimmying it and unlocking the chain. "Too easy," she scoffs and pulls the bike away from the rack, jumping on it. She crosses the street and starts pedaling quickly, intent on reaching her destination.

A few minutes later she pulls off onto a side street and follows it down til it ends. She glances around and gets off the bike. She places it against the wall and leaves it there, walking down a second side street. She glances around again, making sure she hasn't been followed and opens a back door into one of the many buildings around her. She stands behind a screen, watching a very pretty older Chinese woman finish with her current client. She steps out from behind the screen and walks to the long mahogany table the woman is sitting at.

"Tessa! What are you doing here?" the woman asks, not getting up.

"I need your help to find someone," Tessa states, pulling a zip-loc bag with a cigarette butt in it. The woman's eyebrows raise as she takes the bag from Tessa.

"Who is it?" Emily asks, opening the bag and taking a glove off.

"Someone I believe can help us."

Christina

Los Angeles, California
"Ugh!! No no no no no! Stupid mother fuc-!"

"Christina no! Do not cuss. You know I don't allow that," a soothing voice says. A tall blonde woman strides into the kicthen and comes to stand behind a younger blonde girl who's sitting at a table, scribbling furiously in a sketchbook. "What is it dear?"

"I just lost the connection. Another wipe. Mother, the rebels are getting smart. I don't know what to do! Everyone I get a connection with over there keeps I don't know, finding out! It's like they have a counter-watcher or something!" Christina exclaims, throwing her sketchbook across the table. Her mother - Abigail Luckett, NAD top agent and Sniff - walks over to the other side of the table. She picks up the sketchbook and flips through the pages.

"You're drawing has improved greatly honey," she says nonchalantly.

"It's not my job to draw pretty pictures mom," Christina says impatiently, tapping her pencil on the edge of the table, her chin propped up on her hand.

"I know dear. Here," she places the sketchpad back down in front of Christina, a new clean page on top. "Try thinking of someone else. In a different area. How about... Hong Kong? Emily Hu."

"Mother I've watched her before! I've watched her and Kira and Waters and I've even tried watching Cassie and Nick! I don't ever get anything important!" She shoves the sketchbook away. Abigail patiently pushes it back in front of her daughter.

"Try again. But focus just on this one person. Emily Hu. Cmon, just try."

"Fine mom, but I'm not going to get anything." Christina closes her eyes. Suddenly she's halfway across the world, in a back alleyway behind a restaurant. There's a group of people there. Christina gasps.

"What is it honey?" she hears her mom ask.

"I see people. It's a group. I don't know how many. I see only a couple faces though. A red headed girl, a black haired one. I see guys too. Hey he's cute!"

"Christina..."

"Sorry... I can't tell what they're talking about. Actually I don't think they're talking at all! I don't know. Ugh... Everything is too dark... Like they've got a shadow with them or someth- Wait a minute. Is that...?" She opens her eyes and looks down at the sketch pad. Outlines of people have been drawn onto the page, a couple of faces in more detail then others. She points to one of the girls in the group. "Mom? Is that me?"

Abigail takes the sketchpad and smiles, nodding her head. "Thank you Chrissy. This is exactly what we needed. I'll have you draw anymore details you remember seeing, like signs or anything, or later. That'll let us no where they are."

"Mom."

"Yes Chrissy dear?"

"When am I going to Hong Kong?"

"Tomorrow. Now go to your room and pack your bags. I've got to call our boss."

"Okay." Christina gets out of the chair she's in and leaves the kitchen, but she stops in the hall, listening to her mother's phone call.

"Agent Chavez? Yes it's Agent Abigail Luckett. I need to speak to the Director.... Thank you.... Yes, hi Director.... Chrissy just had a vision.... Emily Hu.... Yes I think she's working with the rebellion force still.... No I doubt it. She turned to them before Carver's death.... Probably.... No I think it'd be in our best interest she stay alive. For now anyway.... Yes.... A couple faces.... More Specials I think. Probably working with the rebellion. No way to know now though.... Yes I'll fax them over now.... I'm going to see if she'll draw more details later...." Abigails voice trails off as she moves inito the living room.

Christina straightens and walks to her room but stops right outside the door and stumbles back a bit as she's hit by a sudden vision. But this one's about herself. Dying.

Ah New York...It's been a while since I'd come here. I leaned back against the warm bricks or the building behind me. A place where a dirty kid could blend in, where no one looked twice, and where the tourists wallets were full and easily accessible. I licked my fingers, getting that last bit of chicken grease. New York would be the perfect place to live forever...Except for the stupid winters.
I pushed myself onto my knees and picked up a chicken bone. I threw it into the air, concentrating as hard as i could. It fell to the ground. I screamed throwing my hand out. It shot into the air and embedded itself in the wall across the street. Opps. I looked around; nobody noticed. Nobody ever did. I cross the street and tugged as hard as i could, but the thing wouldn't come free. I sighed. Well, Hopefully nobody would notice.
I started walking down the street. Time to find a place to sleep. I made my way into the subway, choosing one of the broken tracks i waited until the security guard had turned away before jumping onto the track. There was an unused platform about a mile down. It was the perfect place to stay, there was heat, a little light, and nobody around. Because being alone was what i liked. People betray you. They may have good intentions, but in the end they just make things worse.
I made it to the platform and headed for my favorite corner. A ragged mess of old cloths and blankets served as my bed. I curled up, pulled a tattered afghan over myself, closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep. Life was good. It really was...

Natalia glanced out the window of her studio appartment, trying to keep mostly behind the curtains and out of view from anyone who might be in the street below. She hated living there but it was the only thing she could afford and still be able to go to school... not that she'd be able to do that much longer either. Too many people went to the little Mom & Pop store below her appartment, it had seemed quiet enough the day she came by to look at it but that had been a down right lie that probably had to do with the fact that it had been hailing when she had showed up. The little old woman had been nice enough letting her rent the studio appartment; it hadn't been used since her son had just disappeared without a word. People had been disappearing a lot lately. Seems like that was all that came across her desk at work, not that it bothered Natalia at all, and some of the situations had been rather sketchy to say the least.
Letting out a heavey sigh, Natalia went back to her desk in the corner and settled down to write more. She had been working on this story for a while now and it seemed like it might be coming to an end soon. She never had a plan for what she was writting... it just seemed to come out on it's own if she let it. If only her worlds were true, someone would finally see her for who she was instead of being rude about how she looked.

Hours passed without notice as Natalia sat at her desk writing out her dreams of a normal life. Nothing outside her world of colorless people and monocromatic clothing even touched her awareness for the hours she sat alone, and ignored, in her studio appartment until a knock at the door almost took her thin door off the hinges.
"Natalia," came the voice of the little old man who owned the appartment and the little Mom & Pop store. This time the knock was more timid before the old man continued, "Come on Natalia, open the door. I know you're in there, you always are so it's no use pretending you're not."
"Hurry up old man," grumbled another voice. It was hard to make out but it was a man's vioce and not one that Natalia wanted to meet the owner of. "Don't waist my time. Get out of the way."
"Son, there's no need to be harsh," the old man replied, trying to keep his voice down. "There's no need to scare the poor girl, she has enough problems as it is and doesn't need your help. Breaking down the door won't help anything either." There was a low grumble that Natalia could only guess was the other man's responce. Natalia very slowly got up from her desk and slunk over to the door, sliding down to the floor next to the door in hopes of hearing more clearly. "Come on Natalia, please open up." Keys started jingling.
"Leave me alone," Natalia desperately thought. "I'm not here. I work at this time remember... Just leave me alone." The keys stopped jingling. Natalia gave a gigantic silent sigh and prepared to move away from the door when there was a scratching at the lock. Her breath caught in her throat and tears built at the edges of her eyes.
"I'll just open the door," the old man said. "She may be writing, that girl is dead to the world when she writes."
"No! God no!" Natalia screamed inwardly. "I work at this time!" Her internal monologue turned into barely a whisper, but a spoken command all the same. "I'm not here! You saw me leave almost two hours ago and you asked where I was going. Remember, I told you I was going to work!" Natalia's pupils flared, erradicating the ice blue of her eyes for just a second before snapping back to normal. It was all she could do to stop herself from crashing into the floor as the world spun and swam before her suddenly dry and burning eyes.
"How could I forget!" exclaimed the old man, pulling the key out of the lock. "I ran into almost two hours ago as she was heading out to work. I guess her boss asked her to take up another shift at the paper with all the people going missing. No use going in here." Natalia could hear his light footsteps on the floor as he made his way back down the hall. The second individual didn't leave, however, he just shifted his weight.
"NYC Division," the voice grumbled. "We've found her... The old man won't let me in... Don't want to bring around... No, she doesn't have close family... Completely alone... No, he suddenly remembered seeing her leave for work... Must be a Pusher... Yes, Sir... Yes, Sir, I'll keep my eyes open." Heavey footsteps moved away from her door after a small snapping noise, which must have been a cell closing, and Natalia laid on the floor. Closing her eyes.

The wary eyes of the Hong Kong Division worker followed Alexei Sakhalin as he entered the HKD headquarters. As soon as the imposing form, clad in a trench coat, boots, black gloves, and, most notably, a gas mask, came into view, the worker knew who it was and why he was here. There could only be one reason Alexei Sakhalin would be sent by the Division to another country: there was a suspected rebel somewhere in Hong Kong.

"Sir." the worker bowed his head respectfully. "Er...can I...can I help you somehow?"
"I'm only passing through," a muffled, slightly accented voice emerged from the mask. "I'll be on the hunt as soon as night falls." Night was when Alexei went on the 'hunt'--that is, when he either killed or captured his targets, usually suspected rebels. He could hardly go out walking in the middle of the day, looking as he did. Alexei, however, did not wear his unusual attire simply to look intimidating--though that was a good plus. They helped keep his power in control. Removing any article of the clothing ran the risk of a surge of power that could cause untold amounts of damage.

"Do you think they know you're coming?" the man worked up the courage to ask. Alexei looked back at him; behind the gas mask his eyes were invisible. Then he laughed harshly; a sound which, combined with the muffling effect of the gas mask, sounded unearthly and inhuman. "I daresay they probably do know I'm here..." Alexei walked past the man. "The Division doesn't keep my presence anywhere secret. I suppose it makes for good scare tactics."

The world twirled around Natalia when she finally opened her eyes again. The clock wasn't within her sight line so she had no idea how many hours had elasped while she was on the floor. Pushing herself off the floor, Natalia stumbled over to the night stand to find the eye-drops she had in the drawer. Every once in a while her eyes would get this terrible dry feeling but it wasn't that bad as long as she could get moisture into her eyes before it got too bad.
Grabbing her hooded sweater and fingerless gloves off the back of her chair with a small messanger bag just big enough for her book, pen and paper, Natalia headed toward the door. Looking through the peep hole before opening the door she made extra sure there was no one waiting for her in the hall. The door hardly made a sound as Natalia slipped through, pulling her hood over her silvery-white hair and gloves over her nearly translucent hands, and ran down to the street.
As far as she could see there was no one trailing her on her way to the train station. Panic had taken over her logical mind and the only option she saw was to get out. New York was a terrible place to live, there were too many people, especially as the freak she was. Without even looking at the destination of the next train Natalia bought a ticket and jumped on the car as it was pulling out of the station.

A famous South Korean Politicians House

Agitha's twin P90s flashed from behind a corner and fell silent as she heard the faint sound of three falling bodies. Her normally crisp blue eyes were almost completely black right now. Two of the guards were under her control, one was guarding the escape helicopter with several bombs strapped to him and another was laying explosives on the house's foundation. It was very difficult to keep a hold on them but if she didn't the scientists said they would add another scar to her chest. She held up at a large double door. It was the main door to the targets office. It was her main target but it would have been soooo boring to just burn some documents and kill the target. She used her foot to creak the door open and heard a sudden eruption of gunfire until a click singled the empty sound of a clip. She reached into her belt and pulled out a simple smoke grenade and chucking it in the room grinning. She opened the door more and just opened fire, She wasn't really aiming at anything, just spraying two full clips in a circle around the room. When the smoke cleared she saw the bullet riddled bodies of three guards and a trashed room, but no mr. target.

Agitha was not happy about having to play a game of hide and go seek so when a large explosions shook the grounds from the chopper she let out a small giggle. She sat down in the trashed desk chair and spun it around, feeling a sigh of relief as her connection with the now dead guard snapped. Spinning like a child she diverted her full attention to the second guard. He was just laying the last bomb and she quickly sent over her orders. Agitha shot out the window and jumped onto the grounds, disappearing back into the jungle. Looking back she watched as a large fire ball went up into the sky. Her pupils dilated back to a nearly normal stance. They were not quite normal though, she had too many tabs on guards at the base for them to be normal. With a satisfying laugh she quickly made her way to the rondevois point. She had overdone it again and knew the doctors would punish her anyways for harming her precious body again, she thought as she looked herself over at the various gashes along her body from cut glass and a from a small knife fight. She didn't mind though, 2 guards taken, 6 dead plus the target. She thought it had gone extremely well. A very good practice for what was to come back at the base.

The wind battered at Joshua's hair as he skimmed the low waves, coming off a much larger wave, and looked across the shore-line. There were a couple cute chicks on the beach, not as many as he had hoped, but none really caught his attention as worth his time as he had already been with most of them. As sand scraped the bottom of his board Josh merely stepped off, kicking his board into the air to catch so he could just keep walking, and headed toward where his shit pilled under the boardwalk steps. Just for the heck of it Josh wrapped his free arm around some cute chick's waist and pulled her with him to the steps.
"Let's ditch this place," Josh said in his smoothest voice. The girl had great big, brown doe eyes, too much fake tan and bleached hair... she screamed easy. "Surfing's fun but I know something even better." Grabbing his bag he pulled out a bottle of Jack and took a swig without so much as trying to hide what he was doing.
"Bu... bu... but..." the girl stammered in a squeaky voice.
"Don't worry about it babe," replied Josh, holding the bottle to her mouth as he thought, "Thank god I won't have to actually listen to her talk."
Handing her the bag with his stuff, Josh carried his board under one arm and pulled the chick alone with the other hand, they headed to the closest surf shop. The owner knew Josh and had a special area for Josh to keep his stuff instead of having to carry his board back and forth every day. Once his board was stored safely, Josh pulled the girl, Sandy, to his motorcycle and pushed her on the back without asking if she had anything she needed to grab.
"Where are we going?" Sandy squawked in her annoying voice as they pulled up in front of the county high school.
"Where does it look like we're going?" snapped Josh, yanking her off the bike when she wasn't moving fast enough for his taste. "Just follow me."
"But it's not time for school."
"I know! Shut up!" Josh snapped his fingers as he wiped that train of thought from her mind completely, along with a couple other thoughts that would get in his way later. They went through one of the side doors, straight into the English hallway. Smirking he pushed her up against the wall...

Milan, Italy

The almost blunt pencil scribbled across the paper vigorously. β€œThere are rows and rows of bench…pretty images of naked babies with wings on the ceiling…a wooden cross suspended down the centre of the ceiling…colourful light shining through the windows…” a rushed voice spoke as the pencil continued to scribble along the paper. A number of eyes watch the paper closely seeing an image starting to form, it looked like a Church. A pair of hazel eyes shot open as the pencil stopped moving. β€œSaint Peter’s Church,” the girl’s voice spoke softly as her eyes trailed down on her drawing. It was exactly of what she saw in her mind, it was most defiantly Saint Peter’s Church it was the only one that had a cross hanging from its ceiling.

β€œPoor little Anthony, thinks he can escape from the Morettis,” a rough chuckle came from behind the group as immediately everyone stood up and straightened up. β€œBig John good evening..” the group mumbled before bowing their heads a little like the man was royalty. The girl walked over and handed Big John the drawing, although there was no need for her to always draw the images she saw she rather enjoyed doing just so she could go over what she saw in case she missed something. β€œI believe it’s time for us to go pray,” she smirked. β€œI believe you are right my darling Gabriella…I am feeling rather tired so why don’t you take some men with you and go pick Anthony up for me, you are the one that found him anyway,” Big John gave her a friendly pat on the back before walking back out of the room. Gabriella didn’t have to be told twice as she flicked her leather jacket on and put on her gloves before grabbing five men and heading out the door.

It didn’t take them long to arrive at the Church and luckily for them there was no services on which meant that they didn’t have to worry about innocent bystanders. They parked their car in a nearby alleyway, leaving one man behind to keep the engine running in case they got in some trouble. Gabriella strutted towards the front entrance and signalled her partners to enter from different sides as she pulled out one of her pistols from its holsters and quietly entered the church. Her eyes shifted quickly around the place until they stopped at a lonely figure kneeing in front of the alter. β€œWell well Anthony think you can run from us…” she called out to him before slowly making her way down the rows of benches. Her eyes kept gazing around the place to make sure the he was alone. β€œHuh?” He rose up and quickly scrambled a few steps back. β€œPlease I tried to get the money but I couldn’t….I have a children…please don’t kill me.”

Gabriella chuckled, β€œwe aren’t going to kill you…Big John just wants to talk with you, just a friendly chat between workmates.” She lied, as if Big John never wanted to just talk, talking to him meant beating the shit out of people. β€œSo why don’t you make this easy for me and just come with me.”
β€œI don’t think that will happen,” just then a dark haired man stepped out from behind one of the curtains and with him followed a number of armed men. Gabriella’s mouth dropped open as she cursed underneath her breath and then dived for cover amongst the benches. As soon as she hit the ground bullets started flying all across the room. She carefully crawled along the ground trying her best to stay hidden. β€œDon’t bother calling for back up because your men are all dead…I know who you are Gabriella Francesca Marino…..and I know what you can do.” Gabriella stopped moving, although she didn’t know the man was he did look rather familiar to her.

The Division. She cursed again, it had been about 2 years since she last bumped into them. It looked like they were back to recruit her or killer her. She didn’t want either and so wouldn’t make this an easy kill or easy capture for them. Gabriella pulled out her other pistol and began moving through the benches again.

Tom Blitzfield sat alone in his one room studio apartment, kneeling down on the floor with random gun parts scattered about. He had his hood up and was looking down at the pieces of cold steel. This is it... the thought to himself, enough running. Now is the time to fight... His fingers ran over the cold steel and he breathed slowly, unable to hold his fear and anxiety for the whole thing. He didn't know what he was doing. He never even spoke out publicly about anything, but the Division had been bothering him... they'd been floating around in his head like an unwanted specter. He needed to get rid of them and the only way to do that was to get even. To take the revenge he had wanted his whole life, but his weak mind would never let him.

He grabbed the first piece and ran his fingers over it. With an inhale, he began to whisper and quickly grab for another piece. "...I am strong..." he began and clicked the few pieces of the butt together. He reached for another piece lightning quick and continued to put together the pieces of metal, snapping and twisting them into place, "...I am brave..." he continued under his breath, now getting the hang of it, "...I will have my revenge..." he continued to put the pieces back together. He had already been skilled, doing this routine over and over again by himself. He knew where every piece went and how it snapped so nicely into place.

"I am strong," his voice became louder as the intensity increased, "I am brave, I will have my revenge." The pieces now started clicking and falling so carefully into place. He continued, grabbing each of the many, many pieces that were on the ground. "I am strong," he continued, his voice getting louder and louder as his mantra seemed to give him inner strength, "I am brave, I will have my revenge." The pieces were flying off the floor as the metal got bigger and bigger, forming half of the device. "I am strong!" He continued, his voice reaching near yelling, "I am brave! I will have my revenge." Almost done, the metal was all piecing together nicely, forming a devastating weapon.

"I am strong!!" He was now screaming at the top of his lungs, his usually calm face now infuriated with the thought of what happened in the past. He wanted his payback so badly, it was brooding inside of his very soul, "I am brave!!" He finally locked in the front part and held up his weapon... a .50 caliber rifle to his eye and looked down the scope at a Division agent across the street from where he was. "I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!!!" He screamed and ran towards the window. He looked through the scope of the undercover agent and was panting, his heart beating as quick as it ever had. His finger was itching to pull the trigger. His mind was screaming to do it even though it went against his very nature of being kind and gentle. His eyes stared at his target... he wanted to see the look on his face when he pulled the trigger. As the man turned around, he squeezed... but only heard a click. His whole arm was shaking as he continued to watch the man through the unloaded gun. He lowered it and was breathing hard through his nose. He slowly walked back to his original position and began taking apart the weapon, piece by piece chanting. "I am strong, I am brave, I will have my revenge... I am strong, I am brave, I will have my revenge..."

Abigail

Los Angeles, California, USA
Abigail shuts the cell phone with a click. her conversation with the unknown head of the NAD known only as "The Director" had gone over well. Abigail was to locate a Wiper by the name of Joshua Carson and either pay him, seduce him, or use force to get him to come along with the two of them to Hong Kong. There were a few too mnay rebels who needed pieces of their memory erased. She on the other hand was to meet an equally, or even more infamous Division agent by the name of Alexei Sakhalin in what was left of Hong Kong's pathetic excuse of a Division.

"Christina, honey? Can you come here please?" Abigail calls down the hall to her daughter. Chrissy, being the obedient daughter she is, immediately stops what it is she's doing and steps into the hall.

"Yes mother? Is there something you need me to do?" she asks, tucking a piece of golden blonde hair behind her ear.

"Yes. You need to go get someone for me." Abigail strides towards the far wall of the kitchen. She pushes on a part of the wall which quickly slides away to reveal a hidden safe. Abigail quickly opens the safe with three decisive turns of the dial. She pulls out a thick manila file folder and from within it pulls out a small zip-loc bag. A lock of hair is in the bag and a date is written on the front - August 24, 2001. Abigail takes off one thin glove and reaches into the bag, pulling the hair out. She inhales deeply, closing her eyes. "His name is Joshua Carson. He's a Wiper. You have three options: Seduce, pay, or force. I'll let you choose which to use first." She opens her eyes and drops the hair back into the bag and quickly gets a pen and post it. She scrawls down an address on the post it and hands it to Christina. "He's here and he's with someone."

"Yes ma'am, I'll go now," Christina says.

"That's my girl." Abigail pulls her glove back on and puts everything back away in the safe.

Christina

Christina loks at the address in her hand as she gets into her car - a silver Porsche Carrera. 'That's one of the coastal highschools... What's he doing there?' she wonders as she starts the car. It takes only fifteen minutes to drive to the school. She reaches over and opens the glove box, pulling a Glock out for just in case. Checking herslf in the rearview mirror, Christina slicks on some strawberry flavored lipgloss and runs a hand through her natural beachy wave hair. She tucks the gun under her dress and gets out of the car, locking it behind her.

She silently slips into the highschool but stops when she hears heavey breathing and grunts. Seems she walked in on two people in the midst of throes of passion, or however that phrase goes. She steps out into the middle of the hallway, out of the shadows to see a guy grining up on a girl who's pressed tightly against the lockers. Christina rolls her eyes, glad they're at least in the shadows. She clears her throat loudly, trying to catch either's attention, but they're so engrossed in each other that they don't notice her.

Chrissy sighs and reaches for the Glock. She doesn't hesitate to cock it then fire a round down the hall, the bullet lodging itself in the wall. The couple immediately jumps apart and stare at Christina. Christina retracts her arm with the gun, crossing it over her chest with her other one, annoyed.

"Excuse me for interrupting," she says sarcastically. "I have a business proposition for you Joshua." Chrissy turns towards the other girl who's scrambling to fix her bikini. "Shoo," Christina says to her, motioning towards the nearest exit with the Glock. The girl doesnt hesitate and is out the doors in two second. "Now," Chrissy begins turning back towards Joshua. "Like I said, I have a business proposition for you. Division is interested in hiring you. And "no" is not an acceptable answer, as I'm sure you already know."

((OOC: Sorry for not posting Sylvia yet... I'm really busy right now and unable to. I'll try my best to have her up before the end of the night))

"God damn it, Chrissy," Josh snaps at the girl with the gun. "Yeah, I know who you are... not like you're terribly good a keeping a low profile. They've had me clean up after your ars on multiple occasions. I don't come cheap, in any sense of the word." Buttoning his pants, Josh swaggered down the hall straight toward the nose of the gun. "That's an awfully big gun for a small girl like yourself. Why don't you let a big man show you how to handle something like that." He put his right hand on the end of the gun and very slowly began running his fingers over the gun, up Chrissy's hand and arm to her exposed neck. A strawberry scent seemed to stream from her, along with a rather interesting smell that Josh could only guess was coming from whatever shampoo she used. "You know I could make you forget how to use that thing in the snap of a finger, right?"

The fingers on his left hand snapped together as he wiped the image of the girl he'd been with from Chrissy's mind. He didn't wipe the memory of seeing her, just what she looked like, and hoped that the accuracy would be enough to let Chrissy know exactly what she was dealing with. Josh knew her, or at least of her, and knew she was pretty controlled in her own right but being able to see things was as scary as being able to take away chunks of people's lives in the blink of an eye. There was a whole street full of people with missing days because of Chrissy, or he had been told Chrissy, and her inability to be stealthy about anything.

A couple years back a man with dark sun glasses had approached Josh, with a large sum of money, about cleaning up a little mess one of the younger kids had made. Some watcher had gone hay-wire trying to catch their target and ended up shooting up a whole street looking for the guy. As there weren't too many young watchers around Josh could only guess that it had been Chrissy, seen as he'd heard her name passed around, in an attempt to impress someone higher up. Not that he minded taking days from people.

"Now, little Chrissy," Josh murmured, bringing his lips right next to her ear, "what is it that you would like from me and what do you have in return?"

"The serum has been injected, sir," one of the scientists moving around Alexei in a hurry managed to mutter. "We just need to wait a few seconds for it to take effect, and then we'll see if it works..." He stopped moving, as did the other two scientists, and gazed at Alexei expectantly, as if waiting for something to happen. Alexei did not move; his face was invisible behind the gas mask, and the only sound was the eerie, muffled sound of Alexei breathing.

"...well?" the head scientist asked, his face hopeful.

Alexei did nothing for a moment. Then suddenly, the scientist lifted into the air like a ragdoll, and slammed into the metal wall behind him. His head hit the cold surface with a sickening crack, and he fell back down to the floor, unmoving, unconscious--or worse. "This doesn't work, you moron!" Alexei snarled at the man's still body. One of the other scientists reluctantly moved forward and checked for a pulse. He looked up at his companion, who was simply standing, looking pale, staring at the body in horror. "It's a pulse, but weak." As the two scientists carried the head scientist out, Alexei shook his head, as if to remark on how foolish the failure of the serum had been.

There was no more money; not for tickets, not for food, not even a place to stay the night. It had been days since Natalia had left New York on a train and once she started she just couldn't stop. There was nothing holding her in New York, nothing important enough for her to stay and risk disappearing like those countless others she kept hearing about at the news paper. Even the paper wasn't allowed to print the stories about the missing people and they had freedom of press. Natalia could only imagine what would happen to her if she was caught by these people who could control the news papers and TV stations.

Her run had been rather un-eventful considering how far she had gotten before the money ran out. Very few people traveling look at the people around them so there hadn't been any major issues with people discovering how much of a freak she was and those who got to close she was able to "persuade" to go another way instead of talking to her. She'd been able to find public showers a couple times so she wasn't completely gross but she wasn't a sweet smelling flower either so that didn't help in her freakishness.

Climbing off the final stop of her train, Natalia pulled her hood farther over the silvery-white hair in an attempt to block her ghostly face and eyes from the sun and people's attention. It was unlikely that she'd be noticed on the bustling platform but she didn't want to risk it after flying under the radar for so long. All she needed to do now was find a hostel or somewhere else to stay where she could find a quite corner until people forgot about her. It wasn't like her mother was going to miss her or look for her at all, her mother was probably rejoicing in her disappearance because it meant she didn't have to acknowledge the fact she had birthed a strange monster child.

Christina

Los Angeles, California, USA
Chrissy shivers lightly under Joshua's touch. 'Damn... Mother didn't tell me he was so gorgeous,' Chrissy thinks, her breath catching slightly. 'Maybe seducing him first wouldn't be so bad...'

"I can offer myself or a decent sum of money, paid out in divedends during the trip," she says, ignoring her heart which was starting to race at the prospect of possibly giving herself to him. "Though if you want both... I'm sure we could come to some kind of arrangement." Chrissy grins slyly at Joshua, trailing the tips of her fingers down the side of his arm.

Sylvia

Hong Kong, China
Sylvia's sneakers splash in the puddles spread among mud and gravel mix beneath her feet. She hurries away from Robbie's apartment, trying to distance herself as far away as possible from him. Constantly checking over her shoulder to make sure she wasn't being followed, Sylvia wasn't paying attention to where she was going and ended up running smack into a dark ahired girl who looked thoroughly lost.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" she exclaims to the girl, her Australian accent strong. Looking her over, Sylvia took in the fact that she looked about the same age as her, and completely lost. She grins a little. "It's so easy to get lsot in this tangle of alley-ways and side streets isn't it?" She chuckles quietly. "Need some help getting somewhere? I'm Sylvia by the way." She sticks her hand out to the girl for a friendly shake.

Fae starts walking again and looking behind her making sure she wasn't being followed when she bumps into someone. She steps backwards trying to catch her balance when the other person starts talking. She starts talking about how easy it is to get lost in the alleyways and introduces herself as Sylvia. She mumbles, "Um, I'm Fae. Uh where am I? I took a wrong turn and I have no idea where I am." While talking, she keeps looking over her shoulder and gets all fidgety staying in one place for too long.
