Josh is a cocky SOB because he's so much better looking and so much more powerful than most people he's ever met, or at least that's the way he looks at it. Due to the fact that girls have always flocked after him, since pre-school, Josh has grown up thinking he's the best. His parents never disciplined him, because he'd always make them forget what he did wrong, so he follows no rules. Josh plays to anyone watching, even those whoes memory he is wiping, having a stronge desire to always be the center of attention. Just for kicks and show he snaps his fingers whenever he clears someone's memory of anything.
Josh never goes anywhere without his cell phone, motorcycle keys and surf board... if possible. He doesn't bother carrying weapons because he counts on his ability to make his attackers forget how to fight, if he's ever attacked.
Josh was born the only child to a extremely wealthy family who doted upon him. He never wanted anything because they bought him everything he ever wanted and more and therefore looks down on needy people. At the age of three he was able to erradicate memories from his parents mind whenever he was bad, though he generally knocked other memories out as well, but it wasn't until he was six that his parents caught on to what he was doing. Blinded by their love for him they didn't scold him for using his abilities against people, instead they took him to the LA Division in hopes that their son would turn into a prodegy. Josh was in fact a child prodegy and had better control over his wiping abilities than many of the older agents who had been working on controlling their powers for years. By the time he turned thirteen Josh was using his powers not only for the Division but on whoever he felt like messing with or whenever he needed to get out of something. Being spoiled as a child made Josh interested soley in his own well-being and pleasure, which he indulges on a daily basis.
