Properly pronounced as "rehvs VIT-ree-ohl", he has since become accustomed to mispronunciations, and answers more commonly to "Reeve"

Backstory:
Reeve was a talented young actor, with a penchant for voices and for improvisation. This, along with his love for children and the joy he found in making them laugh, led him to become quite the successful entertainer for birthday parties and other events for children. His usual act consisted of several different kinds of mixed puppets performing on one of those portable box-stages. His most favourite puppet was a complicated marionette named Dove. She was a beautifully hand-crafted maiden in a white dress who was controlled via a set of cross shaped hand devices that attached to the doll with strings. It took him years to master the art of controlling it, but with her he could evince the most lifelike and human actions with a few deft movements.
Unfortunately, he died in a horribly tragic event that twisted him so badly he was unable to retain most of his sanity. His depravity after he died lured many demons vying for his soul, and he eventually created a pact with a spirit of feline malice which allows him to peek into the dreams of children. He now haunts those dreams, extracting horrible screams instead of laughter from them. Dove is still his favourite puppet, and she usually makes an appearance in his nightmares. Like him, she too has been twisted into something not of this world, and sometimes it even seems like she has a soul of her own.
Summoned by pure fear, Reeve seeks to torment for reasons known only to him.
