GENERAL APPEARANCE
- Violet is a rather short girl with long dark violet hair (partly the reason why she was given the name). Standing to be a mere 4'8" a person of average height would easily look over the top of her head. If one was not careful, they could easily lose this girl in a large crowd if they were not holding her close. With fair skin, an almost boyish complexion, topped off with deep amber eyes, Violet's emotions are extremely easy to read as her numerous (and sometimes hilarious) facial expressions give away anything that she is thinking. Violet is usually seen wearing her personal squire attire and you won't find her wearing much else unless its her sleepwear.
Unfortunately, poor Violet is anything but cool. Try as she might to uphold her esteemed position, itâs very obvious to even those who barely know her that she hardly qualifies. Sheâs prone to be a flake, a ditz, and a lazy glutton who would even fail to complete a a highly important task in favor of sleeping (waking up only to eat).
Though Violet has her setbacks, she really does try to give it her all. As a squire, Violet at least attempts to put on a front that she can be competent and serve the knights without questionâbut a front is only a front, and deep down there are a number of things that come together to hinder her performance and lower her self-confidence.
Violet is like a lost child. She doesnât know who she is, or where she came from. She was found in the Grey Boundary at a very young age with no memory of what took place before that moment. Found in a place shrouded in mystery and darkness where dreamers disconnected from their minds wander and even where residents of the Dreamscape accidentally venture into and are never heard from again. She has constant visions of laying in a white room, unable to move as a figure looks down upon her; a figure she can neither see nor speak to. Violet knows itâs strange, how these strange occurrences have surrounded her, and she knows that there is some meaning behind it all. Like a child, however, she covers her ears and pretends itâs all a coincidence. Simply put, Violet is afraid of the truth; a truth she wishes to run away from, but ultimately fails toâ
The truth that tells her she doesn't belong here.......
All of her insecurities and fears stem from this uncertainty. Up until the present, this sense of inadequacy is the driving force of her self-consciousness and social awkwardness. Though despite her shortcomings and fears, once her mind is set on something Violet develops an iron will that wonât easily shatter. With what she is passionate in, Violet's motivation will show no bounds. Violet will get worked up at the smallest of things and may cry at the drop of a hat, but Violet is Violet. A girl who has yet to realize her full potential; the lost child of a story who carries a major burden. Even so, contrary to her mysterious past, her feelings and emotions are true. There is hope, even for her.
- Soul Sphere: Speed
Though Violet's swordplay technique and fighting abilities are somewhat below average, she uses her abnormal speed to compensate. Relying on hit and run tactics as well as confusing her enemy you could say Violet can hold her own in a fight when it comes down to it. Being fast is one of the only things Violet is good at and her Soul Sphere allows her to move around so quick that at top speed it appears that she is simply a blur if you manage to catch a glimpse of her. Making record time while running errands throughout the castle, Violet is probably the happiest when she is running somewhere. Though she is clumsy enough to trip on her own two feel on flat ground, strangely enough once her feet start going she is agile and nimble and almost becomes a different person.
WEAPONS/TOOLS
- Her only weapon is a standard iron short sword issued to all Squires.
