Mancer Type: Fire
Title: The Jaded.
Nickname(s)/Alias(es):
- Red
- Drama Queen (This is NOT due to her demeanor. She's just that unlucky.)
Age: 18
Face Claim: Elesis/Crimson Avenger - Elsword
Weight: THAT I will not answer. Even I have womanly pride.
Build: Mesomorph
Hair Color: Red
Eye Color: Orange
Scars/Tattoos/Piercings: Has tiny, almost unnoticeable scars all over her body from training. Her left arm is discoloured due to severe burns she suffered as a child. She has pierced ears, but rarely wears earrings.
Description: Pyrrha looks like the a stereotype pyromancer with long, red hair and flame coloured eyes. Her personality differs drastically, but this is neither the time, nor the place for that. She stands relatively tall, but not to an extreme. She has scars. Most of them aren't noticeable, but there's a large discoloured area on her left arm.
Preferred Clothing: She's the type to take comfortability and function over form. However she let herself be talked into wearing an impractical outfit for battle by her now dead, bubbly best friend. She continues wearing it in her memory.
- Huge ass sword
- Impractical battledress
- First aid kit.
Skills/Mancer Abilities:
- Blazing Phoenix
Creates wings of fire, that for some unknown, completely unscientific reason are actually useable. There is a theory that the pyromantic attack is aided by minor aeromancy, but so far it hasn't been proven that a person can have more than two affinities, albeit to a lesser extend. It does make sense in the context that it can only be used by her family line, so it might be something genetic. Again this is conjecture.
- Fire storm
An indiscriminate Powerful Area of Effect technique. At least power, everything in a two-meter radius burns, with Pyrrha at the eye of the storm. At maximum power, she could call forth a fire storm worthy of being called an inferno, but she'll be completely exhausted due to this, and won't be able to escape the sea of flames, making it a suicide technique.
-Flame Enchantment
Temporarily imbues objects with a fire attribute. (AKA huge ass flaming sword)
- Near-complete mastery over the basic fireball.
She can change size, speed, shape, temperature, colour, trajectory and can even affect what it does and does not burn. This makes what was originally a distraction technique a viable combat technique, although she will still need a lot of concentration to use multiple changed aspects at once. She's aiming to make this instinctive, but has made little headway with this goal.
- Boost
Exactly as the name implies, this boosts Pyrrha and her allies in speed, strength energy and even, to a small extent, healing rate. It burns a lot of calories though, which is why Pyrrha seems uncomfortably thin at times. She sometimes ups the ante though to the point it becomes a debuff, and uses it on her enemies.
- First Aid
- Meditation
- Drawing/Painting
- Knitting
- Ice Skating (surprisingly)
Strengths:
- Has Great control over her weaker attacks
- Coolheaded
- Knowledgeable
Weaknesses:
- Has far less control over her stronger attacks
- Is a bit of a loner and doesn't fit in well with the group
- Has TERRIBLE Luck. I cannot stress this enough.
Oddities: Slightly pessimistic due to her TERRIBLE Luck.
Likes:
- The colour blue
- Fruit
- Baked goods
- Silence. (The sound of people milling around remind her of her deceased family and friend)
Dislikes:
- Stereotypes,
- Wishy-washiness
- Her TERRIBLE Luck.
Hobbies:
- Drawing
- Painting
- Knitting
- Ice Skating.
Phobia(s):
- Terra's plants
- Losing more people
- Losing control of her fire
- Becoming someone her family won't be proud of
------------------------------------------------------- Poisonous animals.
Sexuality: A-sexual
Personality: Pyrrha is rather coolheaded and a loner. She's rather Jaded too to the point she's actually well known for it. She's completely unlike the stereotype for a flame user and happy with it, despite the fact that that is what she was tempered to be by the unfortunate incidents in her life.
Family Status: Deceased
Personal History: (I will add to the Personal History as things become public knowledge, if you don't mind)
People know little about her early childhood. This was not due to secrecy though, it's rather that she was an average rambunctious child, so she faded into the background noise.
Her first experience with her fire was traumatic, and it's the cause for the burn on her left arm.
When she was 9 her house burned down with her family in it. She was at first blamed for it, due to the fact that her rough control over fire was wellknown. A few months later the truth came to light though. While information about the motive and perpetrator were classified, people were assured that while they weren't authorized to know who did it, it definitely wasn't Pyrrha.
Shouldering the blame for months, on top of the death of her family, made Pyrrha rather closed off. She began training under Antoine, her father's student.
When she was 12 years old a girl attached herself to Pyrrha. She initially resisted her, but they eventually became best friends. This girl had a terminal illness though, and just two months before the start of the story she succumbed, causing Pyrrha to clam shut again.
Pyrrha-Zephyr
Pyrrha often joined Zephyr on his adventures, back before the tragedy with her family. After that she closed herself off. For four years little progress was made, until Cassie came into her life, who -without Pyrrha's knowledge- tag-teamed with Zephyr to get Pyrrha to socialize more.
Pyrrha-Cron
Pyrrha and Cron are friends due to training under the same Master (Antoine). Pyrrha trained under him due to the fact that he was the student of her late father. Cron because of his dad. They bonded through shared misery, although Pyrrha was considerably less miserable than Cron.
Due to Cron's sexuality, he wasn't scared away by Terra for his flirting, unlike most other guys who did the same. He sees her as a sister. The reverse is also true.
They (and Cassie) did have the best girl talks, although considerably less since Cassie passed away.
Cron dyed his hair sky blue once, because it's Pyrrha's favourite color. It looked awful on him though, so he soon dyed it again in a darker shade. He keeps it that color as a way to remember Cassie.
Pyrrha-Leon
Like Cron, Leon sees Pyrrha like a little sister, in part due to their similar colouring. He and Cron have a friendly rivalry going about her.
Pyrrha-Mira
Mira is Pyrrha's Doctor. Both are rather clinical about it, althoug they have some mutual respect towards eachother, although the respect is more smugness in Mira's case.
Pyrrha has always gone to Mira in the past, but for smaller injuries she goes to Marina now, as the girl is on her team, and she doesn't want to bother Mira too much. For injuries she can't handle she still seeks out Mira though.
While Pyrrha genuinely thinks of it as a good idea, it was thought up by Cassie because the girl disliked Mira for some reason. Something felt off. She had originally just wanted to convince Pyrrha to go to another doctor altogether, but Pyrrha didn't want to listen.
Cassie was right.
Mira is the mastermind behind the attack on Pyrrha's family, even if only her followers know. They set the fall on a person peripherally involved with the anti-clan cult by planting a few papers. Because these papers were related to the temple and its contents information about the killer was deemed to be classified information. The Council assumed it was only that single perpetrator.
