Omnipotens Caelestis Forestam

Dawn smiled shyly at Terra's comment. She was happy she could do something right. She kept singing the lullaby as she felt him relax, singing always helped her relax to.
'Hmm...something we have in common' Dawn that happily. She hoped the other would get here soon.

Heath held the pillar up until Terra was able to take down the wall. He knew that he needed to get out along with everyone. This section of the temple was already crumbling. Without hesitation Heath reeled back touching one of the pillars with his feet, then pushed off of it with all his might, lunging for the door. On the way there he grabbed Luna and Olive, and gently put them down beside Dawn and Terra.
"Sorry to have rushed you guys out," he said to them. The waterfall could be seen just meters away from the exit. Heath quickly took a head count to see if everyone was there. Dawn, check. Luna, check. Terra, check. Olive, check. The pink haired girl... The pink haired girl! She was missing from the group.
"Damn," Heath whispered. Turning to Terra he said "Could you lead these ladies out to the waterfall. It seems as if I have missed one. I'll meet you guys there. I promise."
Without a response Heath turned around, and headed upstairs where the walls were falling apart. He looked around frantically for the girl. He did not want to lose another life.

Zeus was getting impatient and worried. The elements should have been there already but only a few wer.
"Hephaestus you and the other gods transport these children i will go find the others" Zeus commanded and ran off to go find them. His beautfiul temple was crumbling but at the far end he saw Hephaestus's son Heath helping Iris's daughter up.
"CHILDREN!!" Zeus shouted and ran up to them, picking them both up into his hands.
"we must be off we need to heal Dawn and get this young woman to sleep so hang on" Zeus said then they were surrounded by a bright blue light and moments later were at Omnipotens Caelestis Forestam the training grounds. Zeus saw the other gods and elements and walked over to them put the two he had in his hands down by the others. He could see their living quarters a mile away, it was similar to the grand temple, the elements would have to share a room but it was huge and there were many beds.
"my children welcome to Omnipotens Caelestis Forestam the training grounds!" Zeus announced

Everything moved too quickly. Adaire was far too shocked about what she found out of Iris, it was true then. That part of her heart that was missing was Iris, the Goddess, their lives were connected and now that one was gone she was...but no, she couldn't think about it. If there was anything Iris had taught her in the brief moment they met and her death, it was hope and confidence. Be bold like the color red, she thought, shock people with the color orange...warm colors, not cold.

But she felt sick. She felt like she needed to vomit. There were too many things happening, too much tragedy and pain. Colors flashed in front of her eyes, she felt dizzy. There was no calm and warm color in sight, only sickening bright ones spinning and swirling. An image popped in her mind of Iris' grey, cold body lying on the ground hit her like a rock, it forced her to fall and try to grip reality. The gorgeous woman she met was no longer.
Adaire could not cry, only try to force her way to stand. She didn't know where the others were, they were too bright, too energetic for her mind to handle. A voice sounded in her head, it sounded like Iris' but how could she be sure? The only words that came from it were muffled and confused, maybe it was her own, screaming and crying in her mind.

And then there was another, a males voice. Pleading her and helping her stand, she couldn't make out words but warmth hit her as soon as he came near. The fire element. A warm color to motivate her.

Pillars fell, rocks crumbled. Ada finally felt reality wind her, rational thought came to her like natural talent. She looked at him apologetically, if they got crushed it would be her fault. But Zeus was there in a second, lifting them away from the crushing building and bringing them to a light. It was bright blue and almost forced Adaire to hurl due to the intensity of the color in her eyes.

She gripped the situation once the bright blue faded from her eyes. A building like the other came into view, perhaps a bit smaller but no less beautiful. Zeus' words rung in her head for quite a while, training grounds? she thought, she was useless...she could not train for anything, not now that Iris...a pang of pain reached her heart and she suddenly felt exhausted and sad from the days events. Ada turned her head towards the fire element, she could tell he was because of the warmth that radiated from him and the color aura that he...color aura? That was strange, she hadn't noticed it before but they all had their unique color that surrounded them and defined them.

"I'm sorry about that," she said to him, her voice weak, "You could've gotten hurt, or killed, sorry."

It was enough that she was useless, she was too exhausted and in pain to do anything, but she almost cost him his life and she felt guilty. Not only that, but Iris...she felt partly responsible for that too. Adaire sighed and waited for instruction.

Devin, not wishing to get involved in the fight stayed in the temple having an extremely long conversation with Ares about how he shouldn't go and help strangers.

Why don't you go help them? Some of them died already and that could have been prevented if YOU were there to stop them, I mean look at you your the element of war! Some champion you are, and I thought I chose the right person for the job...considering how you get into arguments and fight all the time I thought you would be able to use this power for good instead of beating up local kids. Perhaps fight a hydra like Hercules, or go fight Medusa who is currently fighting.

"I'm repeating myself here Ares, I don't know them and I'm not going to fight their battles for them just because two really strong people are fighting. Oh and I'm not Perseus or Hercules, I'm Devin. Also last time I checked you lost to Athena in The Battle of Troy. I would rather have someone on the winning team, not the losing team. Go bother someone else, I wish to see how this plays out."

Strong willed and stubborn, I chose the right person...now only if you would quit being so insensitive...I granted you my powers now you just sit here doing nothi- The temple shook as it began to crumble, a piece of the ceiling literally landing right next to Devin.

"Oh, and before you go lecturing me about how they are technically my family, no they aren't. No way in hell I'm related to them even if you are Zeus' Son, and don't even give me that 'comrade' bullshit, I know your history Ares."

Suddenly another large piece of rubble crashed down from the temple ceiling as the whole place literally began to fall apart.

Soon a large booming voice that crackled like thunder but struck Devin's ears like lightning.

"CHILDREN!!"

"Hm? Is that Zeus I hear?" Devin joked as a blue light engulfed him. Before he knew it he was teleported into some unknown area, it was far from the temple know, he knew that much.

The temple began to fall down, as Zeus came to the waterfall with the two children. He let them down gently. Heath had thought about many things, that had happened today. The girl beside him seemed to be troubled.
"No," Heath began "I'm sorry for not being able to save her..."
He did not need to mention her name, the gray corpse that now lay underground with the temple. Heath laid a hand on her shoulder to comfort her, but he could not hold all the tears that rushed towards him, and a few drops fell to the ground. He began to tremble.
"Heath!" called a familiar voice. It was Hephaestus. "Hurry up. You and Adaire come and jump into the port!" He motioned for Heath and the pink haired girl to jump into a vortex that had been formed by the gods and goddesses. Heath knew they had to jump soon. He took the girl's hand, and ran with her, making sure she did not get lost. He did not want to lose another, and they jumped to the portal, which transported them to another field different from the temple. Once they landed, Heath fell to the ground, turning back to his normal form. He felt angry at himself for letting others die.
"I wasn't strong enough," Heath continued, "I... couldn't protect anyone. I... Damn it!"
He stuck his sword to the ground, tears rolling down his face. He covered his face with his left hand, his right holding himself up with the sword in the ground.

Hephaestus saw that all the children got to the other side safely. He looked at what was now left of the beautiful temple: rubble. He wore a sad look on his face, and he too jumped into the portal saying his last good bye to what was his home.

Terra Alkaine

still holding Dawn in his arms he jumped through the portal with everyone else only to be transported to a field very similar to before. looking around his face full of awe at the fact that they were now somewhere completely different. then Heath and Adaire came through the portal and saw that the two were deeply troubled especially Heath who had begun to cry. now seeing him cry made Terra sad but also angry at the fact that Heath was blaming himself for not being any help.

at that moment Apaitan came to greet him a sad smile on his face "here let me take her Terra" his arms reached out towards Dawn to take her "she needs a healer and soon" his eyes serious and kind, after a moment of hesitation he gave up Dawn to Apaitan "take care of her will you" Apaitan simply nodded as he took Dawn to see the healer.

Terra then turned towards Heath and walked up to him stomping his foot to the ground making the earth rumble slightly 'whoa didn't expect that' but shook his head. "stand up Heath don't go crying on us, you have no right to complain about not being strong you make the rest of us look like fools especially me I couldn't do anything so how about that all I could do was carry Dawn to safety that's all at least you tried to protect everyone, that's the reason we are here to get stronger okay" his voice a bit fierce but hoped his appearance didn't make things work trying to cheer up Heath in his own rather mean way.

Dawn was being carried away but she couldnt go. A new temple was a little ways away, see looked over to see Heath and his god step threw the portal then Zeus flash in. Heath fell down to the ground and silent tears stream down his face. He blamed himself for what happened but it wasnt his fault.
"please bring me to Heath, it will only take a moment then we can go to a healer" Dawn asked Apaitan and he seem hestiant but then brought her over to Heath and put her by him.Dawn put her hand on his back and tried to comfort him. She wanted to hug him but she wasnt sure if that would be pushing it. Dawn was taught by her mom if she ever saw sometime sad to hug them and comfort them.
"heath its not your fault, you did everything you could look how many people did survive because of your bravery just remember fate is the one who decides it was just those people times please dont care.....you want to know something when i was little i use to cry all the time because i would see someone else cry, even if it was on tv it didnt matter i cried. My mom would come to me, hug me and ask what was wrong and i would tell her i was crying because i was worried about the people who ever crying and most of those people were on tv or in movies she would laugh and say its ok but you know what i never got over the habit like look at me now i'm seeing you cry and tears are starting to form in my eyes, lame i know my mom said the reason why i do it is because i'm a big softy with to big of a heart" Dawn gave Heath a small smile and removed his hand from his face. Looking into his eyes she spoke what she truely though
"Were all sad and guilty that we werent strong enough but we cant blame ourselves we all did what we could do. Its not that it wasnt enough its just that Fate didnt want us to stop what she had to make be" Dawn said sadly.
"I personally dont like Fate that much she can be cruel at times but she always have a reason. Like with my mom if Fate hadnt taken her away from me i probably wont be here and meaning you all" Dawn tried to sound confident but she couldnt help the sadness that leaked into her voice and the small tear that slipped down her cheek.

Olive was brought through the portal rather suddenly. Her owl, Andromeda just managed to slip through before the portal closed for good. All the other elements were there, but some gods were missing. Olive knew in the back of her mind that they didn't survive the onslaught. She took a moment of silence for them. She didn't know them personally, but she had grown up reading all about them.

Olive wasn't a very emotional being and seeing other's cry made her uncomfortable. It reminded her of how her father cried for her mother and unborn brother nearly everyday since they died. The last time she shed a tear was when her father died in combat almost a year ago, and even then it was but one or two single tears.

She shifted uncomfortably on her feet and stroked Andromeda, looking at anything besides the two weeping teens in front of her.

Grief over whelmed Adaire. Every part of her body wanted to fall on the ground like Heath and sob uncontrollably but instead, as they cried, she smiled.

"I know Iris is okay," there was something faint in her mind telling her this, "And the others, too. They aren't here physically but mentally...it's not fair for you to blame yourself Heath, no one should. Iris taught me hope and that's all that we have to look for, it's okay, really."

Even though her words were more confident and strong than what she felt, part of her knew she was right. They had to keep going on, to become strong and learn new things.

But Adaire felt lonely from the rest of them, she felt isolated. There was no close guardian to guide her, no one to make sure she was okay or teach her the right things. Part of her was angry, they were upset when she was the one alone now, when she felt the loss not just mentally but physically...the physical tie between her and Iris was cut off and it destroyed some of her mobility as well.
She would grieve later. When everyone was resting or asleep she would cry to herself, she didn't want anyone to know how much it effected her, especially because Ada was the color element, the element of hope. She knew Iris would of done this too, bright colors aren't supposed to be sad.

And so Adaire took comfort in that, her ability to see hope in a dire situation. That was all she had now.

Hayden growled in annoyance as he, Medusa, Jeliian and he gathered in Hades court room. This is were Hades decides which soul goes where, heaven or hell. Soon that will be Hayden's job...ruling the underworld. Hayden wasnt ready for that kind of responsibility he liked being care free but Hayden knew he was ready whenever Hades stepped down.
"I have gathered us all here because of the plan me and my son have decided on, as you all know Hayden was successful at killing the element of Artemis before he ever arrived at Olympus and killed Artemis when you invaded the temple. Now since the element of Artemis was male we have decided that Hayden will pretend to be the element and go undercover as one of the good godly elements. Now i know you probaly have something to say about this Medusa because thats all you really do in complain" Hades growled then continued " Hayden is the son of me Hades and Nyx the goddess of Night he is powerful and my heir. He is well bred and born for power and he is the perfect person to do this deed. Jeliian will be assisting from the shadows" Hades commanded and looked down at Medusa "any arguements and i shall have your head snake witch" Hades snarled. He never liked Medusa because she never learnt her place here, he was King and she his subject of evil. He looked down at Hayden
"Hayden go speak with your grandfather Cronus, he will help you take the shape of the disgusting element of Artemis" Hades commanded and Hayden bowed then left to speak with Cronus.
Hades watched as Hayden left then turned back to Medusa and her element "What are your complaints Medusa?" he growled and sat in his throne waiting for her to answer.

Terra Alkine

he turned to Adaire now hoping to maybe comfort her and got a bit upset ag the fact that Dawn still was seeing a healer so instead he turned his attention to her. "Dawn you really should go see a healer before your leg gets worse" his tome full of worry as he crouched besides her offering his hand to help her up.

Dawn looked over at Terra. He was right she should go before it gets any worse. The pain was still there it hadnt died down only worsened.
"Your right i'm sorry Terra" i said softly then took his hand. Using all her strenght Dawn shot up off the ground, pain rippling threw her whole body as she put weight on her leg. Dawn surpressed the scream, which was now caught in her throat. Shaking her head wildly she dropped back down to the ground tears falling from her eyes.
"I...I cant move it..it hurts to much to put weight on it" she whimpered, her body shaking as she tried to push the pain down mentally.

Terra Alkine

seeing her struggle hurt him knowing that there wasnt much he could do to help lessen the pain. Terra looked away for a moment his face scrunched up in irritation not at Dawn but mostly at himself for not getting Dawn to the infermary. he pulled one hand through his hair revealing more of his face before his bangs fell back into place obscuring most of his eyes. Terra then slid his arms underneath Dawns small frame with the utmost care as he picked her up in his arms and held her to his chest. "well looks like i'll have to carry you then" givingher a small smile. he then began walking in the direction of where Apaitan had been heading towards and at that moment his god appeared besides him to help lead the way.

Dawn blushed as Terra picked her up and smiled down at her. She has always been akward with the oppisite gender.
"Tha..thank you" she mumbled putting her head down as he carried her to the healers. His god joined them and Dawn finally got a good look at him. He was different then she thought the god of earth would look like. She thought he would be built like a boulder instead he's nicely fit and very young looking. He was the one who was carrying her before.
She looked from Terra then to his god. They were similar in body and appearance and both didnt talk much and hide behind their hair.
'Hmmm now that i think about it we all kinda look similar to our god, my white hair looked like Zeus' she thought. A puzzled express was plastered on her face as a question popped into her head.
Why did Hades hate these people and them so much? he had enough power why would he want to hurt them for these gods powers? She looked back at Apaitan
"Why does Hades hate you guys so much? what happened that he wants your gods powers? and....." Dawn took a deep breath and her stress levels increased. If they got any high she would be puking blood again.
"......why...why did you gods make us? i understand that you need heirs but why not have your own children? or is that what we are? is that why Zeus calls me his little one? what about Hercules? if you gods are our parents then.....who our mothers? do we have human mothers or goddesses?" Question flew out of Dawn's mouth, directing them at Apaitan as they neared the infirmary.
Her scarlet orbs held so much curiosity but she limited herself to just those questions....for now.

Terra Alkaine

Terra looked down at her in awe as question after question flew out of her mouth, but for a while he stared at her looking at her red eye's 'I've never noticed before but her eye's their so pretty' then realizing he was staring decided to turn his pale blue gaze at Apaitan in hopes his god will be able to answer Dawn. but it seemed Apaitan was having trouble trying to come up with a answer until finally he let out a sigh as if to conclude his thinking.

"well you see a long, long time ago Hades got jealous of the other god's powers. he knew that us god's hid the source of our powers so he came to the conclusion that elements such as yourselves were the ones who held the source of our power....so he killed them all only to find out that the elements did not in fact hold the source of our power. and ever since then he has been plotting in that hell hole of his on how he can find a way to get to our source of power" his voice rose a little at the end, for a moment Apaita sounded angry and the earth seemed to tremble a little but it was barely noticeable. then his expression changed to that of a more kinder expression "as to your question on your birth I do not know as that is something you have to ask Zeus about my dear" he spoke in that gentle yet powerful way of his.

they finally reached the infirmary and Apaitan motioned over one of the healers over who quickly ran to him to have a look at Dawns leg. at first Terra was reluctant to let her go but after a hard stare from the nurse he set Dawn down on a white cot as gently as he could. Apaitan then nodded at the nurse and he left to deal with other matters while Terra looked back at Dawn "hey lil' lightning would you like me to say or shall I go?" he was hoping she would say yes since he really didn't want to leave her alone, even if it was with someone who could obviously be trusted.

Dawn looked at the nurse then back at Terra, she blushed at the nickname but smiled brightly.
"please come" she didnt want to be alone with people she didnt know. The nurse rolled Dawn into a small space and pulled the curtain so Dawn, Terra and the nurse could look at her wound privatly. Dawn noticed she still had her sleep wear on but was happy she had shorts so the nurse had easy access to her wound.
"From the color and size of the wound it seems someone has put a tracker bug in you, but no need to worry i'll just cut it out and give you some Wolfsbane and you'll be good as new" the female nurse announced.
Dawn whimpered when the nurse held the knife over her wound. It was different then normal hospital equipment. The knife was rusty and sharp and sliced into Dawn's pale skin easily, she yelped and whimpered as the nurse worker slicing open her skin and using a needle to suck out the posion. It made Dawn feel sick there was so much pain, but the more posion the woman removed the less painful it got. The nurse placed her hand over the open bleedy wound and a eery green glow came from her hand. She lifted it and Dawn gasped as the wound had completely disappeared.
"there we are now all better wipe those tears dear its over. Here Zeus gave me these to give to you since you are still in your night wear" Dawn shocked face stayed as she was handed the clothes. The nurse helped her up and Dawn sighed in relief that the pain was gone.
"change behind this curtain dear" the nurse spoke kindly and eyed Terra up
"No peeking young man" she scolded Terra and Dawn blushed bright pink at her words.
"miss he wouldnt...." Dawn was interupted as the nurse gently pushed her into the change room. Dawn quickly stripped out of her deep red over sized tshirt and short black spandex shorts and changed into the clothes Zeus got her. It consisted on a pair of dark blue ripped skinny jeans, a black belt with a lightning blot buckle, a white tank top, black leather jacket and brown combat boots. She slipped the clothes on and stepped out of the change room only to have the nurse grab her and brush her white curls.
"you have a rats nest back here sweetie" the nurse scolded and quickly brushed Dawn's long white hair. After the nurse fininshed she eyed Dawn up and down then smiled in approval.
"your soooo pretty with those big scarlet eyes of yours well you two better go and check out the place, all the elements will be sharing a room and thats just down the hall good luck with your training" the nurse said sweetly but a bit fast and pushed Dawn and Terra out of the curtain then scurried off somewhere. Dawn giggled at the fast acting nurse then spun a white curl around her finger looking back at Terra. Smiling at his some what shocked face.
"so you want to go check out the place? oh and Terra thanks for coming with me i felt alot better with you there" Dawn spoke softly and gave Terra a small smile. Dawn started down the hallway and she couldnt resist the urge to skip once.
"it feels so much better" Dawn said joyfully

Terra Alkaine

to think the nurse would accuse him for peeking Terra blushed and even after Dawn finished getting dressed a look of shock was still on his face. "sure no problem glad your feeling better" quickly shaking his head Terra followed Dawn, easily catching up to her with his long strides. when he did catch up to her he patted her on the head to get her attention "whoa slow down there your actually making me walk fast" joking as he grinned at her.

Dawn giggled, blushed as his blue eyes lightened in amusement.
"well i am the element of lightning its just natural that i lightning fast" Dawn giggled at her lame joke
"that was so lame" she playfully scolded herself, smiling brightly as she saw Terra's long strides quicken.
"come on slow poke i havnt been able to walk in hours and i feel like i have a ball of energy bouncing inside me!" Dawn giggled. Terra quickly caught up with her and Dawn stopped looking up at Terra.
He really was tall and made her feel so small
"so if i'm lil lightning then what can i call you? Jolly green giant?" Dawn giggled placing a hand on her hip.
She didnt know why but she felt so comfortable with Terra, he made her feel safe and she havnt felt that in a long time. All the elements made her feel safe, she feels like she known them her entire life. Dawn grabbed onto Terra's shirt collar and pulled him down to her eye level then quickly ruffled his black hair, giving him a rooster tail. She giggled and quickly dashed away as fast as her legs could carry her.

Terra Alkaine

"Jolly Green Giant" he said with some disbelief and the pounch around his neck vibrated at that moment Dawn grabbed his shirt collar and pulled him low enough to be at eye level. at this he blushed slightly unsure as what to do in this kind of situation since he had never been this close to a girls face. of course being a guy the first thought that ran through his head was 'does she plan on kissing me'but it was soon replaced by laughter as he tried to fix his hair after she gave it a rooster tail. Terra ran after her or rather he jogged at a relativly slow pace while Dawn ran as fast as she could the whole time he was laughing but then he caught himself a grin on his face 'wow its been a long time since i felt this way' he thought to himself. subconcioisly Terra's hand snaked to his eye that was permanetly scarred from ever being able to see, and sighed but contined running after Dawn.

Dawn quickly hide behind a white pillar and held in her giggles. She peeked around to see Terra's hand hold his patched eye, an emotion Dawn thought was pain flashed across his face until it was replaced by amusement. It seemed everyone had their permanent scar, Dawns being the long scar down her back given to her when her dad nearly beat her half to death. Dawn flashed back into reality as Terra neared.
' ok plan of attack......hmmm' Dawn quickly thought up a plan of escape. She could see the door to the room they all were staying in a she rushed into the room and jumped behind a huge bed. She popped her head up as Terra entered the room. Quickly grabbing a big white fluffy pillow Dawn jumped up from behind the bed and charged at Terra hitting him square in the chest with a pillow. Dawn pouted
"darn it your to tall!" she shouted running back over to the bed and taking cover. She popped her head up and watched Terra.

Terra

looking for her was rather difficult "damn i never was good at hide and seek" he said cooly. he than caught a glimpse of her running into the room he guessed they would be sharing and entered the room only to be almost well not almost as he didnt even budge as Dawn attempted to tackle him but failed and scurried back behind a large bed watching him.

he smiled and ran his hand through his hair and shoved one hand into his pocket his eyes closed as he leaned back in place and let out a sigh of content. then he grinned as he darted for Dawn with surprising speed for someone as tall as him. Danw tried to get away but his reach was rather far and he grabbed her from behind and started to tickle her, laughing like a child would. "thats what you get for trying to tackle me" grinning at her as he continued to tickle her.

Dawn laughed uncontrollably, trying to hold back Terra's arms but he was stronger then her.
"Stop...i cant take anymore....i give i give!" she breathed in between giggles. He didnt stop and Dawn tried to pout but a smile kept rising to her face.
"Terra!!!" she giggled waving her arms around wildly. She havnt been tickled since she was little and she forgot how much fun it is.
"thats it" she giggled and tried to push him back. she couldnt. She did however find an opening and tickled Terra back.
Not for long though as she lost control of herself again and squealed like a child. She gripped Terra's shirt and tugged on it showing her surrender.
For now......

Terra Alkaine

he laughed as she began to tickle him but soon she stopped but it was enough so when he was bending over from laughing Dawn pulled at his shirt and he lost his balance and fell ontop of Dawn. thankfully at the last moment he caught himself so he wouldnt crush her with his body but his laughter then subsided as he realized the posistion he was in ontop of her and he blushed but still didnt move, his face softened somewhat looking striaght down at her but made no move to actually get off of her.
