In fire, there is the spark of chaos and destruction... the seed of life, of creativity.
Quick to anger, and just as quick to cool down. Chath is not kind to those that cross him, and unfortunate are those that betray him. He demands absolute obedience... power and protection is the reward that he gives. Chath loves creativity and life just as much as he does destruction and conquering his enemies. As such, he typically has an industrious mindset, and encourages his followers to create. Most often, this entails weapons of war. Egotistical and fickle to a fault, the God of Fire demands sacrifice every twenty years. He firmly believes that fear is the most valuable resource that one can possess, and nothing reinforces obedience and fear like giving up one of your own to appease your god. This act of faith, and the life force he obtains, allows him to sustain his physical form.
Earth is an element that he tends to get along with, as the two work well together.
Water is his opposite in many ways, though they are both connected to the aspect of Life. The God of Fire secretly admires his natural enemy for this reason.
Air can stoke or snuff a fire. Chath is neutral towards this element.
Death is his hated enemy. Chath is bent on his destruction.
His mind. Chath is ruthless and cunning, and that is the best type of equipment one can have.
However, it does help to have a bit of assistance when one is running about and being godly. Just as fire destroys, it leaves behind new life. This aspect of the Fire God is manifested as a scythe. Somewhat ordinary looking, it possesses the power to renew devastated land at a faster pace than nature typically allows.
It was impossible to tell how long he'd lain here, dormant in the darkness, squandering the power he still had on surviving, building his power to one day awaken again. Despite this dormant state, something still burned below the broken world above... desire. Desire for vengeance, and an unspeakable rage. One day, he would rise to blister the sky again, and when he did, not even Death himself would stop Chath's rise to power.
