Now, Viviane was utterly confused. Another person? She studied the young man, sliding her gaze over to Luna, who suddenly seemed very wary. "My name is Thorns and I'm an element," he said.
Luna's head whipped around, looking at the three people standing around her, "Three people already... Name's Luna."
Thorns looked at Viviane, "And who might you be?"
Viviane stayed silent, staring at the boy with interest. She knew what an element was. Of course she would know. She's been able to control water since she was seven. However, she didn't know that there were others like her out there, and her head was spinning with the new information. She sat down heavily on a nearby trashcan, not caring if her school uniform got dirty.
"Yes, you are," Viviane said. When Luna was gone, Viviane looked at Thorns before standing up. She offered him a small wave and started to walk away, her head still spinning.
It took nearly thirty minutes for Viviane to hail a cab, and when she did, she passed by a portion of Central Park and saw Thorns just standing there. She asked the taxi driver to stop and came to stand next to him.
"I wonder why she did it..." Thorns said quietly and Viviane tilted her head. He obviously hadn't noticed her yet.
Viviane nodded, not taking her eyes off the beast. It was surrounded and had no chance of escape at this point. It didn't stand a chance.
Viviane sighed, shaking her head before picking up Luna, the young girl surprisingly light. "I don't know where she lives," Viviane said softly.
A blush spread across Viviane's face as she nodded, adjusting Luna in her arms. She followed Thorns as he walked away.
They entered her apartment and Viviane set Luna down on the leather couch. She looked at Thorns, "Would you like something to eat... Or drink?"
Viviane blushed brightly when she saw Luna moe. She looked at Luna and saw that she was sweating. She didn't want to wake her up, but she looked like she was in so much pain. She placed a hand on top of Luna's and the girl relaxed slightly.
Viviane set the glass down before sitting on the edge of her coffee table. She blushed slightly when she saw Thorns hiding his face from her.
Viviane looked away from Thorns and saw that Luna had spaced out. Concern washed over her, but she simply placed a hand on Thorn's shoulder, gesturing to the kitchen.
Viviane didn't notice Thorns' stutter because she was too focused on Luna. "Let's give her some space," she suggested. "Are you sure you're not hungry? I'm going to make dinner."
She crouched down next to a cabinet and pulled out a skillet and a large pot, mumbling something incoherent to herself.

Viviane looked up at him before standing up quickly and placing a hand on his forehead. She tilted her head, "You're warm. Are you feeling alright?"
She leaned in closer, a calculating gleam in her eyes. "If you need to lie down, there's a guest room down the hall."
Viviane turned away from Thorns to look at Luna, tilting her head. She seemed distressed. Unless she wanted to tell them what was wrong, they would have to wait. Viviane sighed, setting the cookery on the stove and humming under her breath. She opened her fridge and began getting out the ingredients for dinner.
