High Prince Yaren's reputation tends to precede her, usually because people expect a man and not a woman due to the untranslatable nature of her title. Because of this, when people hear about the confident, charming, aggressive first heir to the Ozyan throne, they tend to expect a handsome young man that indulges a bit too much. And then Yaren Yilmaz walks in, dressed in long flowing dresses (usually red) and elaborate crowns with a gorgeous face and opulent jewels. Some people think it's a joke and Yaren does not take the insult lightly.
Because despite appearances, Yaren is all the things people rumor her to be. She is confident in herself and her abilities, bordering on arrogance, with a charming smile and flirtatious nature. She indulges in anything she might want from jewels to women but is clearly conscious of her own affairs and accounts. She is not the politest woman one might meet. In fact, most go so far as to call her completely irreverent. She tends to be able to get away with it because of her status but she also tends to think others should get away with it too. She hardly cares for the manners that others force upon her.
The "Red High Prince" name definitely has a basis in reality. Yaren has a bit of a reputation for being aggressive and maybe a little violent and that isn't necessarily untrue. Yaren is as well trained in swordplay and combat as any other Ozyan Prince. She can hold her own against most people, especially in a duelist setting. Yaren's proclivity towards violence is a result of her strong sense of justice. She will often meet injustice with justice and very much believes in "an eye for an eye". This is not to be confused with unnecessary violence. Yaren does wish for a world where this form of justice is no longer needed but she is not naive or idealistic enough to believe that she will see it in her lifetime.
