Description

She's a Junior at the Highschool in 8-Bit City, 17 years old. She is very beautiful and has dark hair that reaches her shoulders, and silver-blue eyes that stand out against her somewhat pale skin. Her tall boots or Converse make her a bit taller than she seems, and though she's never really tried a sport more than volleyball, she's very strong and lean.

Charlotte recently discovered her power- shapeshifting into animals. Her personal favorite, & first introduced- the tiger.

She's seen the "Phenomenas" for a while. The monsters began to show up when she started to play guitar. They don't touch her, and mostly just watch her. Some like to follow her...Until they make an attack, then she doesn't hold back.

Likes: Oragami, anime, unique/colorful clothing, music, volleyball, guitars, violins, nature, animals, and sunsets.

Dislikes: Stuck-up jocks, people that always ask if she's "okay", huge cities, really emotional people, and sunrises.

Personality

She's usually rather quiet and stoic, and keeps to herself & her music. There's a violent side to her, also, but that's rare. Charlotte loves music, guitar being her favorite. She doesn't have many friends, and the few that like her she doesn't talk to a lot. She's more old school, and doesn't exactly like 8-Bit City, how it's very modern and techno.

Equipment

Charlotte usually has her guitar, but if not, at least a pad and pencil to write down notes & new ideas.

Don't tell her mother, but she carries a switchblade, and has a butterfly knife for fun & tricks at home, hidden.

History

She was born in 8-Bit City, always raised there with her mother. Her father was no where to be found when she was born, and they've never seen or heard from him since. The extra money slipped in under the door looks like it might be from him though... Charlotte never really worried about who her dad was, or where he went.

Her mother, Anna Dales, tried to get her mind off it when Charlotte started going to her few friends' sleepovers and saw their fathers hanging around. Ms. Dales gradually introduced Charlotte to guitar when she was 8, and she has loved it ever since. But at 13 her only very good friend, Sophie, successfully commited suicide & left Charlotte alone. She was very sad about this, and started to make paper cranes, because Sophie loved them & had taught her to make them.

This is about the time Charlotte started to hate the big city she'd always lived in.

She writes songs and melodies and chords, and sings her lyrics when no one is around. Charlotte also sometimes tries to pick up the old violin her mother played, which never really needs words to make it beautiful. Her mother worries about her quiet-nature a lot, mistaking it for shyness or despression, since she works with highschoolers at Atari High as a Freshman teacher.

Charlotte started working at the music store in the 8-Bit City Shopping District- Guitar Center (it has amps, drums, mikes, lights, everything)- at 15, and gets her own money. Her mother has a car, but she usually likes to walk more. She's very smart and never fails to keep a perfect A on every subject, never higher, never lower.
