Vosro Grasgull

There is always more to learn and I'm always eager to learn more. Nice how that works out isn't it?

a character in “Era of the Creatures: The End of Humans”, as played by Merusagon

Description

Image
The Name is: *Vosro Grasgull*
My Age: *21*
Gender: *Male*
Height: *5 feet 6 inches*
Eye Color: *Dark green*
Hair Color: *Light brown*
I'm Affiliated With: *Shira-yuri*
My Rank is: *Helper*
I'm a: *Drasican*
My Powers Include:
*He is a wizard. Although not able to cast elemental magic, he has a large variety of spells available to him. He also has good night vision due to his time in the caves and labyrinth.*

My Weaknesses are:
*Nervous around people and has poor social skills*
*Has very little knowledge of the world. What plants are poisenous, what plants are good, what animals are agressive, how trading is done and so on.*
*Is very weak physically and has a rather frail body.*
*Has coughing fits often, many of which result in him coughing up blood.*

Scent Identification
*Vosro uses a spell that keeps him from giving off a scent. This is due to growing up in the caves and Labyrinth, many creatures in there hunted by smell, so it was very dangerous to give off a smell.*

Personality Check:
*Vosro gets nervous around people very easily, this is due to him never even having seen anyone other than his parents and monsters trying to kill him until after he escaped the catacombs. He is a generally a kind person but due to his time spent trapped in the catacombs he always has a spell ready to defend himself and kill anyone or anything that turns out to be a threat. Vosro is also very curious, even a small thing such as a flower or a rabbit can get him excited because he has never seen these things before. So he is always watching everything around him to see all the new sights.

When it comes time to a fight, Vosro is allways ready, all he has known in his life is combat and magic. Even though he doesn't know much about the world and would be useless for scavenging and finding food, there are few who can match his ability to fight and quickly adapt to every combat situation.*

My Current History:
*Vosro grew up living in an underground network of caves with his parents. They trained him in how to use magic and had him fighting against monsters that roamed the caves at an early age. His parents never gave him the love that most parents show their children, but they were not rude or mean either. They lived off a moss that grew on the cave walls and the rats that they could catch.

When Vosro was ten, he was already a good fighter. That's when his parents decided it was time for him to take the next step in his training. They threw him in a grand labyrinth and told him that in order to get out, he would have to fight his way to the center of the labyrinth to learn a spell to break the ceal that holds the door to the surface world and would have to become strong enough to cast it. That was the last he ever saw of his parents.

The labyrinth was full of countless monsters and undead obominations all wanting to kill Vosro. So he began fighting them and trying to work his way to the center. Along the way, he found libraries full of spells that he memorized to expand and increase his abilities. The closer he got to the center, the more powerful the creatures became, so he often found himself staying in one area for a while to training and gain enough power to move on. After nine years, he finally came to the center and began studying the spell to open the door. During these nine years, he recieved many injuries, one of which left him with damage that would sometimes cause him great pain and send him into a coughing fit that often resulted in him coughing up blood, this still happens to this day. It took him another year to become powerful enough to cast the spell.

The door he exited from was at the center of the labyrinth and opened to the surface, this was the first time Vosro had ever seen the sun before and it took him three weeks to adjust his eyes before he could even venture out during the day. The labyrinth destroyed itself behind him. Vosro spent the next year traveling and learning all he could about the world.*

Anything Extra:
*Drasicans look much like humans except they have a bright red stripe running down their spine and down their arms, connecting at the back of the neck. The stripe is a natural skin pattern for them. Although they are weak physically, they have magic running through their veins and make for very powerful wizards.*

So begins...

Yokio nodded as Fume spoke. Even though he wasn't too afraid of Fume, he knew she could kill him. That fact didn't even bother him, he did what he had to do, and it just so happened that Fume had similar ambitions. While completely loyal to Fume, his goals were set different from hers. She wanted an army and complete control over all creatures, he simple wanted elves and faeries to go exstinct like the humans. They had hunted his kind to near death, and now that the chance rose for him to get some pay back, it wasn't very likely that he would turn it down.

Turning his attention back to Fume, he caught what she was saying to them, and that he should hide his smell with something, and to mark down those who reject them. He quickly said goodbye to Nora and Fume and then made his way to a river system near by.

He made sure to wash downstream, he still had no idea what the new elf was capable of, so taking anymore chances would be unwise. After drying off rather quickly, he found a strawberry grove, likely own by some farmers and began to roll around in the fruits, while at the same time eating whatever ones may be close to his mouth. In total, he ate arou d twenty bushes worth of strawberries. But he was full for the time being, and that gave him more strength, which ment the longer he could hold a shift. It was getting later in the day, but he was still unable to feel the connection to the moon, so not at his strongest yet.

He realized that he had to seriously think about what to change into. Something Small, yet noticeable. But at the same time, not too out of place. Someone who could recruit members easily. He was thinking hard before the idea hit him. A Shaman. A rare breed in this part of the world, they are believed to decent from humans who practiced magic. Perfect he thought before focusing on what he remembered a Shaman looked like.

When he remembered, he quickly turned into a dark skinned female with very short black hair in a outfit consisting of a long ragged shirt and a white and black shirt going to the skirt. Deciding he looked fine, he tested his voice, and after a while got it to mimic a good accent. "We ready for action nows." he said in his new voice before walking to the town that would have a bad storm later that day.

After making his way in, he quickly found a bar, a place that should be crawling with tough creature of all kinds. After looking around, he noticed a man with a red strip on his arm, a mark of a powerful wizard if he wasn't mistaken. He made his way over to the wizard and said, "How do you do? I be Tia Dalma, what brings a wizard to tem parts 'ere?". He learned from a old text that humans used, a book call 'Getting your Way for Dummies. that stating what you wanted flat out was a bad way to get people to do what you want them to do.

Yokio started to yell in his head after the Drasican said he was looking for the Shira-yuri. "How much do I have to hear about those elf lovers before they can be killed!" Was the most controlled thought he had, but made sure not to show any type of emotion. Instead, he moved down to sit beside the Drasican and then relax into the chair.

He released a sigh of breath before running the hands of the Shaman over what little head hair this form had. Something the hated about Shifting into humanoid forms, so little hair, it made him get cold easier, but the temperature in the room seemed to be stable. He looked at the Drasican and then started to talk.

"Child, I just came from de islands of a far away land. Although I heard something about a group called Akashinu, one of dem came to a town I visited. Said something about liberation from an elf with the power of fire. I ain't heard of a fire elf that did no good. Are they connected?" He put his arms on the table, and then put on up. "How about before you answer that, you give me your name, and maybe a nice cup of tea, I used up the last of me money getting to this land." He made sure to flash a smile to the Drasican.

If the books about these people was correct, they tend to be naíve, so maybe being nice could lead to a situation in which he can appear to come out on top without threatening. Another thing about Drasicans, apparently is that they can also be very distrusting due to time in the maze, so a friend is what might win him over.

Yokio looked at the coins that Vosro had put on the table in awe. This was a kind Drasican, the money could pay for a meal at this tavern, and he had only asked for a drink. Maybe this form is helpful? He pondered for a second before taking the money and making it into a neat little tower.

When he spoke, it was so soft, like he was a child and Yokio was a teacher. He was thrown by the question, and looked into the sky, as if trying to remember. "Aha!" He said, "It was a town called Kirpoustom, a little port town, very good fish. He was in a bar, not unlike this one, talking about it like de Goddess would show up at any moment." He waved his hands in a motion as if to suggest he was drinking a lot. "Of course, you going with de Shira-yuri means you be traveling with dem? I don't care either way, besides my only ability is too create storms, and that only works during the full moon, and all the other time I might as well be human. Besides storms cause destruction, and why would I want to hurt anyone?".

After taking a moment to recover from his monologue, he pointed at the counter, "You know if de serve anything good here? I been living off of fruit the past couple of days. I want some meat." He smiled at Vorso, and then he felt he should ask something, "Oh by the way, if you don't mind me asking. How old are you? You seem young, and that means you started the maze even younger, the way I read is that your kind rarely leave before age 30 or so."

Vee’s soft tone cought Irsire off guard glancing over his shoulder he spoke “These drunken men are only speaking tall tales of themselves, but the men you speak of could be the real hero’s of these stories. Why did you know them personally?” Irsire wasn’t trying to prod at anything that was too personal at a time or place like this, it was crowded, dank and dark. It was a simple inquire and a way to establish more of a trusting relationship with the elf. Walking further in scanning the room briefly clearing his throat, drawing Disire from its sheath and thrusting it into the ground to grab the attention of the room. Surging a small bit of lightning into the blade, then returning it to its resting place by his side.

“Now that I have the attention of you fine fellows, my companions and I have a request for anyone who would like to seek for the continued freedom for every living creature. As some may know, there is a demonic dragon reeking havoc seeking the control of all living things. Which leads to a problem that we all share, being subject to a power like that crushes freedom where it stands and us the Shinra-yuri are attempting to stop said power. Any Questions feel free to speak to me or the fair Lady Talos. Be respectful or I’ll run my blade through you,” Irsire finished with a yawn, finding a seat and taking it. As he relaxed he felt the thoughts of Renth be transmitted through the orb he gave him earlier.

“Renth, we are in a tavern gathering recruits. For starters only I can hear you unless I hold the lady directly, and just think about speaking to me while holding the orb and we will be able to communicate fine. Don’t lose the orb, it takes a while to make new ones so hold on to it closely.” Irsire told him, shaking his head away from the thoughts coupled with controlling the darkness.

Yokio listened to Vosro's answers, and it hit him that he thought the money he had paid ment that he wanted information. Smart. This one will come in handy if I can get him convinced, but he wants information, let's give him some.. He smiled at him before leaving his company to walk to the bar, and ordered a large ale. When it came, he sat back down, and gave neither a reason for leaving, but was happily drinking.

"Let's see," He paused for a moment, remembering the townie had actually gone to. He had gone into a bar to recruit, although not as himself, at that point, he took the shape of the bloody traitor, Leden. He had gotten some recruits, but didn't want to ever take his form, it seemed like a knife in the back. He locked eyes with Vosro, and then started up again. "I am sorry, child. It was months ago I was there, so him name I can't remember, although he did look odd. He had wings! And a tail, and some necklace with a pretty little stone in it, it looked so beautiful. Me thinks he was a dragon." He stopped to take a drink of ale, and found it surprisingly sweet, which he naturally loved.

Then all of a sudden, he heard the blade come down. He looked over to see the demon that was traveling with Mhisty Talos with the new girl. Great, there goes my chance to get him now, damn you. He cursed the demon and Talos in general before shifting his attention back to Vosro.

"Well, there be the Shura-yuri right there. Looks strong too, maybe I will 'ave to check out dis group. For some reasons, that speech make me want to dance, got any spells for music?" He chuckled a little bit, before wondering how he was going to escape, and how much information he could get out of the demon without conflict.

Mhisty Talos

Mhisty trusted Irsire, even with her life. Any other person, she doubted ever would trust him. As they came closer to the tavern, Mhisty could hear the drunkards rambling on, and shouts here and there. It never bothered her, though it seemed to bother most elves. She glanced over to Vee, although Mhisty wasn't quite sure she knew how the female elf felt. When Irsire stepped in, she walked into the doorway, hearing some things about dragons here and there. She frowned slightly, "They just don't understand..." Not all dragons were evil creatures, not all were beasts. They had such a bad name attached to them, and she found it not fair.

The names Vee mentioned, Mhisty has never heard of. She tried to focus her hearing, but to be honest, her hearing wasn't as acute as some other elves. Thankfully, Irsire responded to Vee.

Mhisty stepped up beside Irsire, slightly behind, as he was the main speaker. He was always great about gathering the attention of others. She bumped Irsire with a light hand when he said that thing about running his blade through people, "Irsire, that's not a... good thing. If they don't respect me, that's their choice."

Mhisty swept her gaze around the room. Some of the looks made her feel uncomfortable, but that's how it is in taverns. Shifting the weight on her feet, she noticed a man come up to them. He definitely seemed timid, but those sort of things can be fooling. When this man, who introduced himself as Vosro, said he wished to join the Shira-yuri, she smiled brightly. She noticed the stripes upon him. She's checked out some books in some other areas, and found an interesting thing about those marks. A Drasican, a magic user. Gleeful, she took his hands in hers, making sure to lower her temperature; she didn't want to freak the man out. "I don't see why not! You seem to be a great guy."

She glanced back to Irsire, who was now sitting, wondering what he could be thinking about. She looked around to find Vee. She preferred to keep tabs on where her friends were, as it could be necessary.

Vee let Irsire finish his speech to the others in the tavern then nodded and sighed sadly as she slid into a seat at his table, "Bregolion was my father, I knew of him only because my mother told me about him. He died while trying to defeat a dragon that was terrorizing this surrounding area. Thalion was my brother, we were very close as children. He avenged my father's death by hunting down the dragon and killing it but he died of his wounds before he reached home. Taurvantian is only my last name." She could tell Irsire wasn't trying to get into things that are too personal for her liking but she didn't mind. They were part of the same affiliation, in order for the group to work together completely like Renth had said, they'd have to get to know and trust eachother.

The sudden appearance of the man startled her, making her flinch in her seat. When he asked if they were the Sira-yuri and stated that he would like to join she settled down and smiled kindly at the stuttering man. He seemed to act so timid and that might throw some people off but the stripes, as her mother had once told her, meant power. She didn't know what kind of power but she knew it was to be respected and not underestimated. She was amused by Vosro's display of nervousness when Mhisty took is hands and smiled to try and calm him.

“Understood my Lady,” Irsire said under his breath, the bar wasn’t helping him quell his demonic thoughts. His mind flashed images of dead body’s sprawled across the floor, the wall panted red with the blood of the patrons of the tavern. Irsire shook his head to erase the negative thoughts that the bar produced. "Bregolion was my father, I knew of him only because my mother told me about him. He died while trying to defeat a dragon that was terrorizing this surrounding area. Thalion was my brother, we were very close as children. He avenged my father's death by hunting down the dragon and killing it but he died of his wounds before he reached home. Taurvantian is only my last name."Vee’s gentle voice echoed through his head helping him clear the thoughts away. Irsire smiled “I knew of your father, he was a great man. I spoke to him few times. I’m sorry that you lost him due to the dragon,” Irsire told her. Bregolion he thought, you fool if only you asked me to help you.

Irsire and Bregolion were not exactly close but they spoke on occasion, topics ranging from fighting dragons to family life. He knew that Bergolion would head off to fight the dragon, but he told Irsire to help him he would still be alive today. Irsire had rid the world of seven dragons, that caused problems for villages. He asked for no compensation only a bed to sleep in after the fights were over, but that was his early life something he had left behind.

Watching a fresh and timid face approach Mhisty, from where Irsire sat she looked safe so he didn’t make any sudden moves. He relaxed and watched as the man spoke, he stuttered and nearly made a fool of himself, but his heart was pure Irsire could feel no darkness within him. “Welcome to the club,” Irsire called out with a smile.

Mhisty Talos

Mhisty released the hands of Vosro. His stutter didn't bother her one bit, and just because he was timid did not mean that he couldn't be smart, or powerful. The future may tell more about his strengths. She heard approval from Irsire, with his 'welcome to the club' statement, which told her that there wasn't much at all to look out for, to be wary of.

"I am. But please, call me Mhisty." She giggled, gesturing to the seat close to her group, "You can sit if you'd like." Mhisty was still standing. She looked over at Irsire. It would probably be best if they leave soon. But they could stay for some more moments.

Mhisty looked over Vosro's shoulder, sweeping her gaze around the room. Nothing yet to catch her eye, just a woman drinking ale, and men being boisterous. She looked back over to Vosro, a question coming to mind, but she'd have to ask later, once they were out of earshot of anyone here in the tavern or the village.

"I knew of your father, he was a great man. I spoke to him a few times. I'm sorry that you lost him due to the dragon." Irsire's constant smiling seemed conatgious to Vee because she started smiling a more joyful smile afterwards. "It comforts me to know that you thought of him as a great man and that someone like you knew him. He may have been fierce as his name says but sometimes he needed guidance from someone that was wise, my mother told me this." Vee shook her head with a smile as she continued. "That's just how some people are I guess, they need something or someone to be able to balance. But not everyone finds it." Vee looked back up at Vosro. "Well, at least I'm not the only newbie in the group anymore." She had said it with joking tone in her voice and a welcoming smile. "Welcome to the group."

Regret washed through Irsire’s head after Vee spoke about her father, he felt bad for not stepping in while he was alive to aid him in his conquest of the dragon that would take his life. Irsire couldn’t shake off the feeling that it was his fault that Vee’s father died. He couldn’t bring himself to throw another smile at her; instead he looked over to Vosro when Vee welcomed him.
The bumbling man made his way over to the table sitting beside Vee, he looked to her with a nervous face.

Irsire felt that Vosro was confused and generally a tad bit fearful “Newbie, basically you’re new to our group and generally don’t know much regarding to what our cause is. The beautiful young elf next to you is Vee Taurvantian, and my name is Irsire Xion you’ll meet the rest of our group once we leave town. It doesn’t look like anyone else is interested in joining. Maybe after something light to eat we can depart for our next location Mhisty?” Irsire disliked calling his leader by her first name, much too informal for his tastes but he respected her request none the less.

Feeling the demonic thoughts enter his head again, Irsire looked to Mhisty his red eyes glowed brightly even “I need some air,” Irsire said trying to cover up the demonic tone. Quickly standing up and making his way out side gasping and pacing himself around the first of the tavern to eliminate the thoughts

Mhisty chuckled when Vee said she wasn't the only newbie anymore. When Vosro asked what that was, she figured he hadn't really been around others much, at all. Nothing wrong with it, of course. Her eyes kept glancing around, giving her hopes up of finding more people to join them.

Behind her, she heard Irsire tell her that there didn't seem to be anyone else, so they should eat and move on. She didn't feel like moving on from the area just yet. The tavern wasn't the only spot in the town they could look. There were also markets and the sort. She sighed lightly, "You have a point, Irs." She turned around, to look at him, although seeing his red eyes glow more. She knew what that meant, so she didn't mind when Irsire stepped out for some air. "Be careful, Irsire." Her voice was softened for him to hear. She grew worried for the demon. It probably would be best if they got some food and left, instead of eating in.

Her eyes were still on the doorway when the woman that was drinking ale left as well. She raised an eyebrow, wondering if she was only leaving on coincidence, or saw something about Irsire. Hesitant to look away, she sat where Irsire was. "I think we should just get food to go. Vosro, did you eat yet?" She looked over to the Drasican as she spoke her question. She then looked to Vee and smiled lightly, "Are you hungry?" Mhisty knew she was. It's been a while since she's had that rabbit yesterday.

She waved a waitress over, placing her order for some simple soup and bread. Mhisty dug into her pocket for the coin purse she had of the money she had saved up, looking at both of them, "My treat if you want anything." She wasn't sure what Irsire wanted though. Was he even hungry? Her mind then wandered to Renth. Should she pick him up something to eat as well? It would probably be best. And if he didn't want it, then it could possibly be easily stored if it was something not soup-y. Also, Leden. She knew what he liked, so she just may get a big deer steak for him.

"Whelp" Renth stood up from the fountain. "they're probably at the bar, with all the drunks, and alcohol, and soup." He started walk towards the mouth of the cul-de-sac, trying to remember what this towns bar served. He pulled his hands out and started counting on his fingers. Okay so ale, beer, soup, stew, he never really like soups or stews, not enough fight as eating cooked meat right off of the bone. It was the same reason he didn't like utensils. Not enough work. He turned to see the bar, an oak log structure, emitting a smell of alcohol, bread, and meat. He liked the latter smell the most, and decided to focus on that the most.
As he opened the door, creaking with an ominous tone to reveal the hearty laughter and spilt drinks, as well as the telling of old stories that couldn't possibly be true. He saw Mhisty and the rest of the Shira-yui, and as he scanned the group, discovered a small, feeble man who couldn't possibly be evil. As well as some bar goer with dark skin and black hair. He looked over still to see a fair elven maiden sitting alone in a corner, oh well, she must be lonely. He made his way towards her, passing the waiter and eventually making it to her table. he needed a line that could either get her to join the Shira-yui, or be shot down easily enough to get him out of their fast. He pulled down his hood, revealing his pale face and sharp eyes,
"So, what's a beautiful girl like you doing in a place like this?"
Oh god this better work. it's not going to work is it.

Mhisty Talos

Mhisty sat back in the seat she was in. While the waitress had taken their orders if they had any, she was off. Mhisty's eyes looked at the doorway, wondering if Irsire would be coming back in. She knew how he gets, and she was worried. Yeah, definitely shouldn't stay here any longer. Maybe I should go keep him some company? Then the door opened, and in came Renth. She smiled, wondering if he noticed, but he was off in another direction. Maybe he noticed something? He was supposed to be watching around the town, outside of it. Maybe there wasn't anything around and he was taking a break? She wasn't sure. Maybe he was hungry? Her purple eyes followed his figure until he was at another table, sitting with what appeared to be a female elf. Renth would be able to decide if she could join or not, that is, if she accepted.

Her soup came and she decided to down it as fast as she could, which yes, is not lady-like, but she wanted to get outside and see how Irsire was doing. She wouldn't mind stepping outside either. She was sure Vee, Vosro, and Renth could take care of themselves. She placed her bowl down and some money, surely more than was needed, but it was for if Vee or Vosro wanted anything. Mhisty picked up the deer steak she had ordered to be wrapped up, and some bread, then looked at the two across from her, "Here's the money for what I ordered and if you want anything. If you don't, go ahead and split it between the two of you." She smiled happily and got out of her seat to stand up.

She left the tavern and stepped outside, but she couldn't see Irsire. She frowned. Maybe he was off doing something needed done? She went back inside and over to Vee and Vosro, "Hey, I'm going to check up on Len. If something happens, that's where I am." She smiled before waving and going back out, towards the tree she seen Leden go into earlier. She was going to climb, but remembered she didn't have any free hands. She spoke up, "Hey L-." Her voice got cut off!

(( Okay, all fixed. :D For anyone who hasn't checked out the OOC, there will be a timeskip as soon as Layn either accepts or declines the offer that is about to happen. ))

Vee watched as Irsire walked out of the small building, his eyes glowing red. She trusted that he could take care of him self even though she just couldn't help but worry a bit. When her soup came she burned her mouth with the first spoonful. This made her yelp in surprise and wave her hand in front of her mouth as if it would help cool it down or lessen the burning. Her eyes watered and she took a sip from a tankard she had been handed by the waiter. Wait, this isn't water! Shuddering, she looked around in distress then froze. "I feel like such an idiot." She took a water flask from off her belt and quickly took a sip, washing away the taste of beer and the burn as she sighed in relief. A few moments later she saw Renth walk past and up to another person, seemingly an elven woman from where Vee sat. Vee finished eating her soup after it cooled down and waved to Mhisty as she exited the building. "Okay, will do."

Vee waited for Vosro and Renth to be ready to go, not wanting to leave them behind in the tavern. She did, however, wonder who the group of four people were that had just entered the tavern. They looked heavily armed and that made Vee feel a bit uneasy. The leader looked like a tall, muscular male elf, his followers were a male goblin, a male dwarf, and a female elf. She looked down at her hands as she did a mental check on her weapon inventory. Even if she didn't really like conflict, she always had her many knives hidden somewhere on her figure or at least nearby.

I've been staying at an inn not far from here and discovered that this tavern has the best tea in town. I love a nice cup of tea. What brings you here?
Well he wasn't sure he could trust her, not with those pronounced, triangular canines either. Maybe just tell half the truth.
"I'm in here to get a deer skinned and quartered. I make my living in the woods you see." He put his arms onto the table to form a more aggressive body stance. "But the reason I came over here was to ask you something."
"Do you know who the Akashinu are?" If she were to say no, then she would be akashinu herself, and he would have to kill her on the spot. If she did, then this could be a lot more friendly, and a lot less bloody.
The door behind him creaked open, he turned to see two elves, a goblin, and a dwarf walk into the bar. Probably a couple of dungeon-goers. The goblin seemed well enough equipped to be a rogue, and the dwarf could probably double as a healer as well as fighter. Vee looked a bit off put though, might want to give her a hand and find the beauty he was talking to later. Yah, like he had a shot with her in the first place.
He got up from the table. "Actually on second thought I'll have to catch up with you later." As he walked towards Vee the male elf, if it was male at all, looked at him. Renth donned his hood, and sat down beside Vee and Vorso.
"We should probably leave soon. How's that food Vorso?"

The elf jabbers on about the forest as Layn pretends to listen. He grabs her attention when he asks her about the Akashinu but before she can respond the door opens and in walks two elves a goblin and a dwarf, she pays them little attention as they look much like many of the other patrons, covered in armor and weapons, probably returning from a dungeon of some kind and looking for a nice drink. As she turns back to her new table mate she sees him abruptly stand up stating "Actually on second thought I'll have to catch up with you later." as he turns and walks to the group of Shira-Yuri, sitting down with them.

Intrigued by his question and wanting to know more Layn stands and begins to follow him to his table. As she walks her mind races trying to figure out how to justify following him back to his table. What should I say? I don't even know his name. I need to figure out how prepared the Shira-Yuri are and the only way is to get them to trust me. But how do I do that, when their leader is not here? I hope this works...

As she approaches their table she hears the elf man speaking to one of his table mates and she smiles at them saying "I'm sorry to interrupt but your friend here left without finishing our discussion." She looks at him "Yes I do know of the Akashinu, I have been observing both them, and your group, for a while now. I have decided that your cause is a much more worthy one and I would love to discuss this further with the rest of your group. You can find me here most evenings, or at the inn down the road. My name is Layn, and you will not find anyone more stealthy than I." As she says the last word she turns to walk away and as she walks away she transforms into a black house cat.

Irsire felt a huge demonic force circle the town, Fume it shall be time to finish you off for good in the name of AzsireIrsire thought to himself as he prepared his bout mentally. He thought of Fume as being a lower demon, for her to get so far in his mind was due to the lack of action by the order. They could have ended things before they had gotten this bad, and as a representative of the order Irsire would be sure she would fall in her quest. Looking back to Grails shop, Irsire wondered if he could get his blade back from the old dwarf with ease. Disire would be great against whatever demon's Fume brought over, and against Fume herself the sword would be very useful.

Deciding not to go after Disire, Irsire turned away from the blacksmiths shop sprinting full speed towards Lady Talos. The orb that she carried allowed him to track her with ease, turning down one street and watching as she gathered few of the Shinra-Yuri outside of the square

Irsire's eye's focused on Lady Talos, even prepared for battle the young lady look as beautiful as always, her blond hair was now tied back into a ponytail with the ribbons she had and the look of determination showed. Irsire knew she was ready no matter how much she may have feared the outcome of this fight. Sliding to a stop as he approached Mhisty "my Lady, I can feel Fume she looms over this town. No matter how much we wish against it, many innocent people may lose their lives today. However this fight, will decide if they can walk away with freedom to go along with their lives. I trust in your fire ability's my Lady, I trust in your ability to lead and to fight. I will try to be by your side throughout this battle, my goal is to keep you safe unless you have other orders in mind for me," Irsire paused and kneeled at her feet. Swiftly standing back up and turning to those present at the seen.

"I've been to war... countless of times, I've fought beside my brothers and father on the battle field. And there is no worse feeling than losing those who fight beside you, who would pick up their blade and fight in your honor. Vorso, though you have just joined with us, I want to see your face as it is when we end this fight. I don't want any single one of you to die here, I've dug graves for my brothers, my service men and my mother. I don't want to dig another for any of you, be careful, be mindful, and be quick on your feet and we'll live to fight another day. I've drawn arms against Fume that dragon bitch to stop the suffering of family's cause of war, conquest and lust for power, to many have lost lifes to her ruthless and selfish cause. This speech might not hit home for any of you, but this is my reason for serving under Lady Talos," Once again he paused, his eyes now glowing with fury and blood lust urging for combat. "As the order would say 'As the cycle of life and death continues, we will live they will die"

Spark's started to gather around Irsire, his mind was clear, and his goal was to keep Mhisty safe while taking out as many as he could. Looking to her one last time smiling again.

Vee

When Vee walked into the town square she continued on until she was within a five to ten foot radius of Mhisty, not really wanting to make it too crowded in a huddled way. As she took a mental head count of everyone that was there she noticed how unusually quiet it was and looked up to see the sky had become darker, the sun leaving behind a mixture of different colors as proof that it was setting. She listened as Vosro gave the report about Layn then when Vosro finished she couldn't help but speak when he was finished which was a bit strange for her to do without being spoken to first. "Yes, nothing much really happened after you left. The waiter gave me bowl of boiling soup which ended with me doing something that made me feel like an idiot and seemed to slightly amuse this one even if he was quiet." She nodded her head with a smile towards Vosro and continued. "Then, a heavily armed group consisting of two elves, a dwarf, and a goblin entered the tavern. I'm not sure what they were up to but they seemed a bit angry and distressed. Afterwards, as Vosro said, the elven woman known as Layn gave us instructions as to where she could found.

Once Leden landed beside them while announcing the presence of a dragon above the village her instincts made her look up and, sure enough, there was a dragon. No wonder I haven't heard anything animal related like birds rustling around in the trees. They must have been scared off. She looked to Leden and nodded. "I agree, but what about the village and the people?" She wasn't the type of person to leave people behind whether she knew them or not, especially when she knew of the impending danger looming over them. "Shouldn't we warn them or something of the kind?"

As Irsire skidded to halt next to Mhisty, Vee listened to his speech then bowedd her head. "I too have buried my mother and my brother though I have not been to war. And though this is all new to me, I do not wish to have to bury any of you. Good luck, everyone. Let us fight for the freedom we and all beings deserve. She smiled a small smile at everyone that was around in the area, getting ready to either pull her knives from their hidden places under her cloak or use her other abilities.

"Well said, Irsire." Leden said, casually putting an arm on the demon's right shoulder. "We'll make it through this. I think our best course of action is to try and keep them away from the village, obviously, but trying to take them on now would be suicide. I'm not dying today, or I'd rather not, but I'm more concerned with you guys. I'll make sure you guys get out of this alive, even if I die doing it. Not that I'm expecting that to happen." Leden grinned at Irsire, somehow managing to make light of such a dire situation. His eyes flashed dangerously as he did that, and his grin seemed more maniacal than normal. He almost seemed to be looking forward to the fight. Len grimaced when he heard Vosro speak, walking over to him.

"This isn't about learning their strengths and weaknesses, bud." Leden said grimly after hearing what Vosro said. "It's about living to fight another day. I'm sure we will, but don't take too much time analyzing them. They're led by a dragon, Fume. They're not very predictable creatures, so analyzing one won't do you much good. Try not to get yourself hurt. It would be a shame if you got injured on your first day here." Leden spread his wings, walking over to Vee's side next.

"Hey, Elf." Leden said. "I'm counting on you to keep these guys under control." He indicated Ren and Irsire as he spoke. "I trust them, they're capable fighters, I just don't want any 'victory or death' going on tonight. You seem sensible enough to keep them from going overboard, so if you don't mind doing that for me, I'd appreciate it." He made his way to Ren, but instead of saying anything, he simply gave him a gentle pat on the shoulder. He wasn't quite sure if he had anything to say to him that he hadn't said already.

Finally he reached Mhisty, and stood in front of her, looking into her eyes. "Any objections, Mhist?" He sounded oddly formal, yet the nickname made it seem casual at the same time. Without really waiting for her answer, he gave her a quick hug, whispering to her before letting her go so she could answer his question. "Stay safe, Mhist."
