Appearance: Lucas usually likes to wear dark colours, but his most common clothes include a dark black vest, a pair of fingerless gloves, brown trousers, hard walking boots and a long black overcoat. Physically Lucas is in good shape, if maybe a little under weight. He hides his long scruffy black hair underneath his hood most of the time, which has a tendency to obscure his face a little. But when relaxed he will remove his hood to reveal dark green eyes and a small but noticeable scar his left cheek. He also carries an apparent wooden staff, which is actually a sheathed sword in disguise.

Personality: Lucas can be a little...provocative. Not through any kind of anger or maliciousness, but mostly through simply being very blunt about things. If someone is useless at fighting, he will simply tell them so. If there is an argument over something pointless, he will comment on his way past. It’s something that has got him in a lot of trouble but in his mind people need to learn these things. There’s no point sugar coating faults, that way they’ll never improve. He is quiet, but not shy, Uncaring for trivial matters but not above reacting to insults and has a special hatred in his heart for snobbish behaviour due to his poor childhood. Unfortunately Lucas can eventually get truly angry and when this happens he tends to get a little bit...Hot.
Traits: Lucas is hard to get angry; he usually just relies in over the top sarcasm to reply to insults.

Abilities: Lucas was trained in fencing and hand to hand combat by his father before he ever realised he had magic. Something he has kept as he grew. Lucas is pretty handy with a throwing knife, simply by practicing out of boredom. He also has some medical skills his mother taught him, although very basic. He is very fast, but not too strong physically.

3. Flaming strikes: A simple ability which lights his hands on fire for multiple uses, not just striking.
4. Immolate: Creates a thin column of flame in a targeted area.
5. Flame prison: Creates a small box of fire around the enemy, but not hot enough to roast them. Instead the flames suck up all the oxygen inside that box until the enem passes out, the fire is then dispelled leaving the enemy incapacitated but relatively okay.

How/Why did you join Fairy Tail?: When Lucas was eighteen he was relatively disillusioned with himself and his abilities. Seeking advice he visited the Fairy Tail Guild but got a lot more than just advice. Impressed by his abilities, never being formally taught, they offered him a role. Lucas accepted.

Goals: Simply to become powerful one day, to become an appreciated member of the guild and above all a cause to live for.

History: Lucas has led a remarkably average life. His mother and father raised him together for quite some time but when Lucas was eight his mother died of disease. His father stricken by guilt and would often drink all night, although he would never hurt Lucas physically sometimes he would leave Lucas to his own devices for days at a time. As a result Lucas became somewhat of a street rat, stealing and brawling. When he was eighteen he finally got a job as a waiter so he could move out of his father’s house. It was here that his abilities began to show. Whilst in the kitchen people found he was the only one able to light some of the old stoves and one when a customer was yelling at him, Lucas got so angry that his hands burst into flames. Just as shocked as everyone else Lucas ran into the road scarred of what was happening. But he calmed and re-assessed the situation and realised what he was. He tried to master his magic by himself but failed miserably. Living in poverty and unknowing of what he should do, he went to the Fairy Tails guild for advice and was offered a role with them. He’s been with them ever since.
