History:
Hyugan's parents were a mysterious couple. Loving as they were, they were also incredibly distant due to the nature of their work. At a young age he was separated from them, forced to live among Buddhist monks. Confused and alone from the abandonment of his parents, the high priest monk of the temple had vowed to set him on the path to righteousness. He honed patience and virtue through spiritualism, learned the ways of the pacifist martial styles of the monks and excelled as a horse rider after countless errands he ran for the temple. One night, the temple was raided by bandits. Hyugan was riding back from a nearby town when he saw the temple in flames. He rushed in only to find his fellow monks slain, save the high priest gasping for his final breath. He instructed Hyugan to take the parchment in his living quarters and follow its directions. He grew to love and care for this new home and to watch it burn to the ground awoke an angry spirit, one that sought after the blood of those responsible.
Bio:
Hyugan read the parchment to much disbelief. It was in fact a letter from his own father, giving instructions to the monk in preparation for Hyugan to become a ninja. In it explained their leave. His mother was in fact the sister of Shifting Shadows' master. They feared rivaled clans would seek Hyugan out for ransom or to seize their family bloodline. Revenge for the fallen monk was his primary goal and he realized that the path of the shadows would be the swiftest route to achieve it. Through much travel and adventure, Hyugan reached the Shifting Shadows by the time he was 13 and presented the Master with the scroll passed from his father. Through much deliberation, the master finally conceded that Hyugan train under his clan but warned that no special treatment will be given because of their relation. In fact he received the most punishment because of it, a method the Master concluded was necessary to tap into his full potential. He trained non stop for 20 years, broken, beaten and rebuilt through a hellish cycle, over and over again until he became a heartless assassin. His Blood Moon rank was earned by slaying the bandits who slaughtered the monks from his younger days, including their families and those associated with them. He hopes to one day reunite with his parents, but feels shameful of the man he has become and fears that he would only bring them dishonor.
