Personality
Ken is the quiet, loner type. He would rather take a walk in the freezing cold, than be inside a warm building being chatted up. He is mostly this way because he feels that every time he gets close to someone, they are taken away. First it was his mother and father and now over half of the Blackguard. The only time he truly sees joy is during battle. Since bloodshed is all he has known since birth, he figures he might as well excel at it.

Ken is very passionate about his training and fighting; it is all he does. In his spare time, you can literally see him doing one of two things: resting or training. And if you disturb either one of those, you better be good with a sword because you just signed your life away. Everyone who has been on sharpened side of his sword, says he is a heartless bastard. But, for those on the other end, say he is truly a sweet kid at heart. There are countless examples to prove each side, but the one you see, entirely depends on you.

Bio
Kieru Rikers was the birth name given to this boy, but as he grew older he adopted the name Ken Senpuu. Ken's mom was the daughter of a noble and his father was ninja for the military; and he must have been a really good one, since Ken never saw him. By the time Ken was born his father had left him and his mom for reasons they both are unaware of. All he has to remember him by is a medallion, passed down to every male of the Riker Lineage. The medallion was left in his crib the night before his father disappearance.

You see his mother's father despised Ken's father his family. And when he heard that Ken's father had left, all he could do was smile and say "Good riddance!" Because of this, rumors began popping up that Ken's father had been ran out or even killed! So when this news reached Ken’s mom, she didn't hesitate to pack up and leave her father. Her plan was that she would go to any nearby village and search for him. Unfortunately this would be the last time Ken spent quality time with his mom.

A pretty young woman and infant were like a bandit's dream out on the road and as Ken and his mom were spotted, they were attacked. The bandit's had their way Ken's mom and then took her and anything else of value with them. They left poor Kenny there, despite his mom's violent protests. But, it wasn't too long before his cries were heard.

A nearby Blackguard patrol had heard the commotion and was en route to Ken's position. But by the time they arrived, the bandits were long gone. So after taking Kenny back with them, they decided they would take him in as their own.

History

Kenny had a strange childhood. Since he had been found, nobody knew anything about him. His birth date became, the day he was found and since nobody really knew what to call him, he was called Kid, till he reached age 8. By now his training was really beginning to peak and people were calling him the Ken-Senpuu, for his speed and strength with bladed weapons. So he took this to be his real name and demanded to be called it.

When Kenny was 13, he was officially made a member of the Blackguard. He was by far the youngest ever to do this, which of course meant he was incredibly skilled. Because of this, he was always being tested by other members of the Blackguard or random strangers whom he came across. It was on one these occasion that a reference to his past was made. The man claimed to know of bandits who had his mother. So Ken beat the information out of him and set out on a solo adventure.

It took him a few months to track the bandits down, only to find out she had been killed long ago. When Ken reached their camp he was laughed at as the bandit leader claimed he wore the same pathetic face and tattoo, the day he was robbed of his mother. The man further humiliated him as he said he wore his mother rings around his neck to remember that sweet ass by. Upon hearing the words Kenny fainted and when he awoke, the rings were in his hand and the bandits severed head in another. He had slain the entire camp ad from the looks of his surrounding it had been a few minutes, if not hours.

Something had awakened inside Ken, he didn't know what it was nor did he care to discuss it. After cleaning himself and wrapping his left arm completely, he returned home. When asked what happened, he would and always say he was severely burned and doesn't want to show the hideousness of his arm.
