Ashley sighed sadly. Where was he? Her hands played with each other nervously, and worry only grew when she heard an ambulance's sirens grow close. "Where is he?" She suddenly grew fearful.
A while later, Spencer walked back into the hospital, making his way to Ashley's room. He walked in, right over to her bed, and leaned in to kiss her. He didn't say a word, just kissed her. After a few moments, he pulled back, running a hand through his hair. "We're ok. I took care of it. We're safe." He said, giving her a small smile as he took a hold her hand and sat down in the chair beside her bed.

"Ba-" she was suddenly cut off by the loving feeling of his lips against hers. When he pulled away and spoke, she could only smile. "I love you, don't ever scare me like that again." She said quickly before her eyes filled with tears and she hugged him tightly. "I love you so much.."
Spencer hugged Ashley back. "I love you too baby." He murmured, kissing her forehead. "Now we don't have to worry about looking over our shoulders." He said gently. "We can focus on our life together." He murmured, gently cupping her cheek.

"Yes, all I want to focus on is you." She murmured quietly, and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him once more. "I never did finish that dance with you, Mr. Cooper."
~ 5 Months Later ~
Ashley had fully recovered from her disastrous accident at her own wedding, and was fully functional... for two. She found out she was pregnant shortly after they released her, about a month after her and Spencer's wedding. As promised, they both resumed their focus on one another and their future, and not some psycho lunatic wanting to kill them. Ashley still missed her parents, but had some closure at their funeral when she was released from the hospital.
Today, was Ashley's proclaimed 'rest day' where she was taking a break from her work, which she had gotten a new job as an editor for a magazine named, "Cator". But, she wasn't going to rest until she finished this darn interview with some goody two shoes fashion designer she'd never heard of.
Thinking intensely, while sitting on the couch, she had a notebook on her lap, and pencil in her hand as she tapped it. Her hair was in a bun, and her stomach was big, but not watermelon big. Big enough, to where if she set her notebook right, it would stay.

Spencer was sitting at home, watching TV. Over the past few months, he'd stopped working so much for the agency and had instead started to work for the local police force, the way Ashley had wanted him to. Today was his day off unless something big happened and he needed to be called in, but he doubted they would need him. Spencer glanced over at Ashley, as she started to tap her pencil on her notebook. "Having writer's block?" He asked, glancing at her notebook, trying to see what she had so far even though he knew he would be absolutely no help on what she was writing.

Ashley chuckled. "I'm good, Einstein." She teased, then set her notebook and pencil on the side table at the end of the couch. After setting them down, she looked to her husband, and smiled, taking his hand and placing it on her stomach as she sat on her knees. "Feel it?" She was ecstatic, the first time Their baby kicked. "That feels... Amazing." She chuckled as if in shock, a huge smile on her face. She kept her shirt lifted up, and sat right next to Spencer, and moved his hand to the bottom of her stomach towards her thighs. "There it is again! You feel it right?" She giggled and leaned back against the couch, but her head was on his shoulder.
Spencer chuckled at Ashley as she teased him. When she took a hold of his hand and placed it on her stomach, a slow smile spread on his lips as he felt their baby kicking. "Yeah, amazing." He said, his eyes on her stomach. He still found himself in awe of the fact that she was pregnant with his child. Of course he knew how babies were made and all that, it just felt surreal knowing that the life growing inside his wife was a part of him as well. "Yeah, I feel it baby." He said with a smile as he gently started to rub her stomach, kissing the top of her head. "I love you," He murmured quietly.
Ashley smiled as he kissed her head. "I love you more." She couldn't believe after everything they'd been through, they were finally having a peaceful period, where they could just enjoy each other, and the mere fact they were going to be parents very soon."Did you put the crib together yet?" She asked him, and leaned up, starting to kiss at his neck, and upper chest. He was still so muscular, and just amazing, period. She sighed as she slowly stopped, and rubbed her head. "I really don't want to meet this.. designer. She just seems off." She shrugged, and continued laying on his shoulder, and played with his hand.
Spencer smiled at Ashley as she started kissing on his neck and upper chest, he let his hand fall to her back, rubbing gently. "Yeah, I got the nursery all set up." He assured her, hugging her a little closer to him. "And I wouldn't worry about it too much, I'm sure everything will be alright." He said, giving her a reassuring smile. "I know, why don't we go out tonight? Like a date night?" He asked, tilting his head a little to be able to look her in the eyes.
Ashley chuckled, nodding her head. "Of course." She then looked to her phone, which started vibrating. "Looks like I'm free after all. The designer called in sick." She kissed Spencer on his lips, and then leaned back against the couch. "We'll leave a little later. Right now.. is too sweet to ruin the moment." Ashley smiled, and rubbed his arm, pecking his shoulder.
- Later That Night -
"Spence..? Baby, you about ready?" She called from the bedroom, thinking her husband was in the bathroom. "I'm starving.. well, we're starving." She corrected herself, smiling a little bit.
