I don't hear you as I'm, by nature, planning my revenge. Eventually though, my brain registers your voice and I look over to you. "Oh. Hi...if you come with words of pity/sympathy, I don't want it." I growl, trying to hold back the wave of anger continually sweeping through me. "We can't just...sit here...and do nothing! While we sit here and twiddle our thumbs, our enemies are getting stronger by the second and before we know it, they will be at our doorstep!" I close my eyes and take a deep breath, trying to calm the monstrous beast inside me. "we must act NOW in the hopes of defeating our enemy, but father," I spit the last word out as if poison, "will not here of it! Instead, he commands that we just and wait in the darkness, while the Cailen tribe crush us!" By now, I'm standing up, heart racing, jaw clenched, my hands curled into fists. The anger inside me fades a little, but not much. The silence in the room seems heavy and tense, thick like a blanket.

I quietly and calmly walk into the room sitting on a little stool and tucking my feet under my dress. I don't say anything for I while, I just let you blow off some steam. I try to decide if I should tell you what I heard or keep quiet, but after seeing you so riled I choose to share. "I know what your father said, I heard. Most of it anyway. I also heard Frigga talking to Odin on your behalf. She seemed more then a little angry with him. She's on our side. Give it a few more days before you go back to him. Maybe even give him a battle plan." I remain still and keep my voice gentle. "Loki, we have time, I'm not showing just yet. I'll be a few more weeks at least. We can prepare."

" You eavesdropped?!" I snap, feeling still slightly angry. I let it go though and don't push it. "Ok well, if i do think of a battle strategy, i will announce it to Thor and the rest of the team. I'm not going near Odin anytime soon. He's blinded by his hatred and he wishes to do nothing." My mind is whirling and racing as I'm trying to think of a plan but nothing is coming to mind. I let out a frustrated yell.

I nod at you as you speak but jump slightly when you yell. For a moment I hold my abdomen and hide my eyes from you. Then with my arm over my belly I feel the chill spread over the right side of me and warmth on my left. "Loki!" I realize I sound scaled and quickly change my tone. "Lo, feel! He's going to have both our powers." I excitedly grab you hands, pressing them carefully to either side of my belly while I giggle like a child.

My anger dissipates and is replaced with surprise. I break out into a grin and hug you tightly, being mindful of the baby. "Oh my! This IS exciting!" I exclaim with joy. I summon various baby equipment into existence. I then remember the war, the invasion and my mood changes. Again. "That's it!" I say angrily. "I'm going to father and telling him we should go to war, and if he does not listen, I will summon an army and go myself! I will NOT sit here and wait for them to arrive at our doorstep and it will be too late!"

"Loki, please don't." My voice is quiet brakes and I'm barely above a whisper, hugging my belly I look up at you. My eyes plead with you. "What-what if you going to war is what starts this? Maybe your visions were a gift to help you avoid war?" My eyes shimmer with tears and my usually soft mouth is set in a deep frown. "You saw a young child in your visions right? Not a baby?" I hope to cherish even a few moments with you and our child and that hope shows in my face. A part of me knows everything I'm saying is useless. You will most likely ignore me and even disobey Odin to start a war believing its the only way to save us.

I suddenly feel conflicting emotions overwhelm me. On the one hand, I wish to venture out and destroy the enemy, but on the other hand, I know that what you're saying is true and right. "I don't know what to think anymore! You're right but I want to destroy them nonetheless!" It's infuriating and I just give up, sitting on the edge of the bed, shoulders sagging. "I guess it can wait..." I mumble. "We should always, from now on, be prepared for a sudden attack at all times." I put my arms around your waist and lean my forehead against your belly,sighing.

I let out a sigh and rub my temple, feeling a headache coming on. I try and ignore it for now as I open the door to the ballroom and let you in first and close the door behind me as I start up some music. I take one of your hands in mine, the other lightly wraps around your waist/lower back. "I love you, you know. Even though I am stubborn sometimes.." I say with a little smile as I begin to twirl you around the room.

I chuckle and hold you closer in my arms, dimming the lights a little with my magic. "I cannot wait for our child to be born" I say with love in my tone. "How are you feeling? Would you like to take a break?" I ask feeling a little concerned for your health. However I can't help but think back to the vision I had. What if you're right? What if I am the one who starts the whole thing? Perhaps then it can be avoided entirely if I think things through and not panic whenever I think about it. But I can't help worrying... I snap out of it and force a smile on my face as I spin you under my arm.

Collectibles
