Personality: Standing at 6ft 9in and still growing, James stands out in a crowd, his height and his build constantly makes him one of the biggest person in class, on the train, pretty much anywhere that he is at. He is used to the stares that he gets and times when little kids points at him and tell their parents to look.
He has that Australian carefree larrikin attitude, he doesnât care much of what other people thinks of him, he doesnât try to draw attention to himself and he doesnât show off about being a very good basketball player.
He is friendly and very loyal to people who he believes are his friends, he is quick to smile and always there for a laugh even in the worst circumstances. He tends to be able to get the best out of people.
History: Born James Wilson in Sydney Australia, he grew up in a average middle class family, his father is a cook and his mother is a physiotherapist. He is the only child in his family. At a very young age he was introduced to sport and he developed a keen interest in basketball. Maybe it was because of influences from his mother, James always knew how to take care of himself, by the time he was 18 he is already 6ft 9in.
His Height and his athletic build along with his passion for basketball allowed him to become one of the best basketball player in Australia, winning MVP at the national high school championships. The Australian Institute of Sport was offering a place and he was about to accept but out of nowhere, Fulton University offered him a full athlete scholarship to play basketball for on the university team. At first he didnât know if he wanted to travel out of the country, he would miss his family too much but his parents encouraged him to go, to see the world, to meet new people and so here he is.
Jamesâ world revolves around Basketball he practices daily so much so that he has few friends outside of his involvement in sports. This is because he has no time to do anything else, another effect of this is that he has neglected his studies, he frequently fails his test at school. He is not stupid by any means, he simply doesnât like studying and doesnât study at all. The last time he has ever completed homework was like... forever. In fact one of the conditions on his athletic scholarship was that he has to be assigned to a older student in the campus who would mentor and tutor him in order for his grades to improve.
Having just arrived in the country, James doesnât know anyone on campus in fact he doesnât know anyone in this country. He is nervous at the prospect of starting university but he is also excited to be here.
