Physical Description: Madeline looks like an average Gardevoir… ah, who am I kidding? She has the body shape of a Gardevoir, but a Darkrai’s coloration and features put over it. Mostly because she’s possessed by a Darkrai.

Personality: Madeline and the Darkrai possessing her have a lot of overlap when it comes to personality – both are human-hating psychopaths wielding highly destructive powers. Both are schemers in a sense – they simply make up their plans as they go along. The chief difference in personalities is that Madeline focuses her scorn on one person – her mother Estrella – while Darkrai simply looks down on everyone and enjoys messing with their heads.
History: Madeline is one of Estrella’s children by Wendell Spire. Half-human and half-Gardevoir, she was trained to hate and kill mankind, but when Estrella disbanded the Green Cave army she was ordered to live in harmony. Incapable of doing so due to training and her freakish nature, she turned her hate towards her mother instead, gathering up so much loathing that she attracted a rogue Darkrai. He agreed to give her power “beyond her wildest dreams” in exchange for power over her body and a chance to kill Estrella, an offer she gladly accepted. She now works alongside Viv and Colonel, waiting for the day Fatum and Darkrai will let her carry out her deepest desire…
Equipment: Neither Madeline nor Darkrai use equipment.
Abilities: Madeline already has psychic powers, primarily one where she lets out her inner frustration in a large explosion, which are amplified by Darkrai and his powers over nightmares.
Other: Madeline was formerly known as Bella. I changed the name just because.

What looks like a Darkrai, but with a Gardevoir's body shape, floats down and starts talking to the Frosslass. She doesn't sound very happy, from what Damian can hear - something about progress being too slow.
"... Inexcusable," said the Darkrai/Gardevoir. "He should have gotten his talons on the Dark Prognosticus days ago. What's keeping you?"
"<S-sorry, Miss Madeline!>" said the Frosslass. "<But it's just snowing so often here, we can't tell where we've been!>"
"And you can't simply MEMORIZE?" asked Madeline.
"<We're trying!>" exclaimed the Froslass.
"Not hard enough," spat Madeline. "Perhaps you need a bit more motivation..."
"<S-sorry, Miss Madeline!>" said the Frosslass. "<But it's just snowing so often here, we can't tell where we've been!>"
"And you can't simply MEMORIZE?" asked Madeline.
"<We're trying!>" exclaimed the Froslass.
"Not hard enough," spat Madeline. "Perhaps you need a bit more motivation..."
Madeline picks up the Froslass and stares into its eyes. The Froslass screams and writhes around in complete terror for a few seconds before being reduced to mere twitching, at which point Madeline drops her.
"Now," said Madeline. "If the rest of you don't want to end up like your friend... get back to work."

Damian was shocked at how Madeline disciplined the Froslass.

But he restrained himself. He didn't want to be caught by Madeline. For now, he'd just keep observing, even if he's uncomfortable with just watching this.

As the Froslasses (and other Pokemon I neglected to describe because they weren't really that important) continue digging through the snow, Madeline flies off, probably to another group.
Damian breathed in deep and exhaled gradually to calm himself. He didn't like what this Madeline was planning, but he had to keep calm, stay impartial, and observe their actions.
Madeline is at another excavation area, where Ice and Ground pokemon are hurriedly digging for something.
"... already made an example of one of you," said Madeline. "So I'm feeling generous. You have one hour. If you don't find SOMETHING by then I will punish two unfortunate souls. Am I clear?"
"<C-crystal!>" said a terrified Sealow.
"Good," said Madeline. "Get back to work!"

(Great...Now I'm torn between preventing Morbul's awakening and preventing the Dark Prognosticus from being found!) Damian thought.
Decisions decisions. If it helps, Morbul is unlikely to be awakened any time soon (if reports about the Black Platoon's incompetence are accurate).
Damian sneaked closer...but felt a sharp sting in his heart!

He did his best to keep from shouting out...but couldn't catch his footing on the mountain-side fast enough and tumbled down the side, colliding into the Pokémon group below.

"<GAH!>" shouted a Sealow, assuming the fetal position (or something close). "<Don't hurt us!>"

Damian got to his feet (thankfully, the pain in his heart had subsided) and faced Madeline.
"You...why do you want the Dark Prognosticus?!"

"Why do you care so much about what I want?" asked Madeline. "And come to think of it, how do you know what I want? Did someone tell you?"
"Well...you did. {serious again} And why would I care? Do you even know how dangerous that book is?! Don't you know what happened to the last being who found that book?!"
"Yes, yes, blah blah cursed book blah blah eternal darkness blah," said Madeline. "Big deal. Not like I'll have to deal with it myself for very long."
