Peacock's Story

Tesla looked at the scene in front of him and watched as that weird, what's-her-face girl got taken away. At some point, during the broadcast, he started to look around at the building. He didn't care what anyone said, he was getting in. He started to walk away from the group, looking for someplace that whoever did this might have overlooked locking the place up.

Meanwhile, inside of the main building, after he saw everything that just went down, Connor thought now would be a good time to find a place to hide. Since he had no clue where this library was, he simply went for the closest place at hand. Looking around, he found an open janitor's closet and quickly ran inside and closed the door.

"..."

Zenmei tapped the computer screen impatiently, as if waiting for Monokuma's next line. "{clears throat} Is that...?"

...It's taking forever for any real action to occur. Zenmei taps his foot impatiently, arms crossed. Chaperon bides her time by polishing Fafnir's tip.

"...You know, in all the time since that bear last acted, we could have searched the whole school and found the mastermind," Chaperon said. "Don't you think we should - ?"

"No, that'll just piss off the other RPers," Zenmei replied. "We'll have to wait, like it or not..."

"{sigh} Alright, we'll wait. Still think this is a waste of time, though..."

"HEY! No breaking the fourth wall!"

"Now, as for the question about the rules....the principal may be considered staff, but in regards of this colliseum, you can not target the principal. However...."

"I myself have rules set in place against me. I guess I should have said them earlier. As the principal, I can't punish any of you for no reason whatsoever. I am only allowed to touch you when you break the rules I have set forth."

"So if you were thinking about harming me in order to escape. Sorry, but...."


"Better luck next time, you bastards!"


"Oh, and don't think you can find the mastermind so easily. A game isn't any fun if the heros just tanked through everything. People want to root for the underdog. The one who can surpass a challenge despite all the loss and hardship they suffer. Not some bunch of Mary and Marty Sues who think they can act outside of the Game Master's rules just because their character can do something and others can't! There has to be a fair playing field!"

"Are we finally out of the break?" Zenmei asked. "Okay then! Anyhow... {to Monokuma} We WILL find out your secret, no matter wh - "

It's then that Zenmei heard what seemed like a powering-down sound. It came from Quartz, whom had triggered something in his Chrono-Meter.

"Set to vitals only," Quartz said to himself.

"(?) Wha...?"

"You heard him! If we use our powers, he'll do something worse!" Quartz said. "I have to power down my Chrono-Meter, just so I don't accidentally let loose..."

"K...Kid..." Zenmei wasn't sure what to say about this. Would someone be that ashamed of what he's capable of?

"...Very well!" Chaperon declared to Monokuma. "If playing your game is the only way to figure you out, then I shall do so! Alastor, ready when you are."

"Of course," Alastor answered. "Now readying the psion lock." As Alastor charged up a dark psionic energy, Chaperon turned her Fafnir and Gram into the Sigurd's Aegis form, letting it fly away from the campus in the wind.

"Farewell, my brethren..." she said as Alastor cast the psion lock, sealing his and Chaperon's powers.

"P-Princess - !" Zenmei's REALLY not sure what to think of this now. Now the princess is giving up her strength just to play Monokuma's game?

Renna sighed. "Well it was worth a shot. Well, I don't have any powers, apart from technology, which really isn't a power, but I can do this. Remember how I said this was broadcasting across the galaxy to every TV set, every radio, and every, oh I dunno, police station?" She held a button on her goggles, and spoke in a clear voice. "Galactic Corps Squad 939, move in when willing and ready, this is a request from operative Kidnap, repeat, operative Kidnap. Over." She shrugged at the camera. "Sorry to put you in so many situations, but I hate it when people die." Almost immediately, a whole squadron of spaceships surrounded the university, and several foot soldiers were set on ground level, surrounding the school. And the regular police were there too. Renna held up her hands in a sort of mockingly apologetic way at the camera "Sorry Monokuma, but I'm not letting you do this, and plus, this isn't a super power." She spun in a circle, gesturing to the ships and high walls that were slowly being hacked from safe distances by the best hackers out there. "It's just a thing called friendship." She waved at the camera before turning it off. Lara and Chelle stood there, stunned, Chelle more than Lara. Renna smirked. "What? I have links!" Lara grinned, and pointed at the S.S Starswirl. "You keep saying it's the best ship in the world." Renna smiled, sticking her hands in two of her many pockets. "That's because it is." Chelle looked at them both, puzzled that they were having a casual conversation in the middle of such a dramatic situation. Chelle shook her head, and looked towards Zenmei. She smiled, and waved at him, hoping to make him feel better, as it seemed this was nearly over, and police squadrons were doing their best to remove any threat remotely, any bomb, any gun.

"(!!!) W-Wait! Cut!" Zenmei said, the action pausing for a moment. "{to Renna} What are you thinking?? He's gonna flip his lid when he sees you curb-stomping his plotline!"

Yes, rogue, listen to the wolf. It's not as great an achievement when you handle it like THIS.

"Yeah, you heard - ! Wait...who is this?" Zenmei said in surprise. No one else seemed to know where this new voice was coming form. It seemed like it could be coming from anywhere.

Of course, we'll need to eliminate these nuisances before anything can proceed properly...Nothing impossible for me, of course~

Just then, a gigantic rend opened in space, sending out dark electric lines around all the spaceships and dragging them into its abyss. As for every officer that came from the ship or tried to go into the school, they were dragged by some kind of kinetic force, brought out of the school grounds and sucked into the rend as well. The walls that were broken down were restored, and further reinforced by a kinetic power, forming upward into a tough dome around the school grounds.

"W...Wha...??" Chaperon uttered in shock.

Invaders: removed. Defenses: restored. Operations: back on track...unless any of you are asking for worse.

No telling how the S.S. Starswirl is faring with the dark lines...

(Dude, Renna just doesn't want people to die unnecessarily, she's not using supernatural powers, she's using her connections to save lives. Stop curb stomping MY plotline dude. Don't mean to be a stickler, but this just isn't fair. I'm already holding back Renna's connection to royalty who in turn are connected to even more people.[It's true. I probably would have gotten out Starswirl's cannons to destroy the walls and used my universe hotline via high up Dream Dimension royalty if my author didn't want to seem like a godmodder] Shut up Renna. I'm doing the talking here.[No, and plus I've just helped you anyhow.] Ugh, fine. But yeah, please Author. This universal rend taking away Renna's attempt at stopping Monokuma just because I'm kinda halting the plotline is just halting the plotline even more and it's totally random and unheard of. Sorry, but I'm kinda annoyed at this... 3:

"..."

Everyone on the school grounds is trapped. Not even the slippery Peacock could escape Monokuma's traps. A giant rift is stopping the police from getting near the school.

Zenmei didn't want to admit it, but...all this was hopeless.

"...Is this it..." Zenmei said to himself. "Is this how it ends...?"

"Pfff, 'course not!"

"(?) Wha - ?" Zenmei looked around in response to this new voice. "W-Who said that?"

"Er, wasn't me...!" Chaperon said.

"Nor I," Alastor said.

"I-I've been quiet," Quartz said.

Just then, what looked like a large star flew out and struck the rift's edge, stopping its suction on the spaceships. All the ships are freed, and the officers were levitated back down to the ground. It also cut power to the barrier, breaking it down.

Wh-What?! Who did that?! HOW did you do that, even...?

"Over here!"

Atop a nearby building is a new face - a cyan-haired boy with a magic bow in his hand. He pulled down an eyelid at the rift, taunting.

(!) You...!

"Yeah, me!" the boy called back. "So, Mr. Distant Voice, you don't seem to be the principal-usurper I've heard a lot about. What's your deal here?"

...

"Well, whatever. I'm here to topple this punk's regime!" The boy leaped off the building top and over the broken wall, joining up with Zenmei, Chaperon, Alastor, Quartz, Kotonoha, and the others.

"Um, who - ?" Chaperon was interrupted by the mystery boy presenting her her Sigurd's Aegis.

"You drop this?" he said.

"..."

"'Sokay. I got a plan for this plush-head."

"...Very well." Chaperon accepted her Sigurd's Aegis, turning it back into Fafnir and Gram.

"Uh, no, seriously, who are you?" Zenmei asked.

"There'll be time for that later, New Angel," the boy replied. "So what's YOUR deal, huh? Thinkin' of bowing to that piece o' junk? Puh-leeze! That ain't how life works. If you can do something, then do it! Simple as that."

Tesla had just come back to the front after running around looking for a way inside the building.

"This place is locked up tight. What the hell?!" He shouted. He looked back at the rest of the group he left and did a double take when he noticed the newcomers that arrived since he walked off. He tapped the boy in the suit he saw come in earlier (Quartz) and asked. "Hey, who're the newbies? And do they have a way in 'cause I've been looking and found jack squat."

Suddenly, the speakers let out a small chime.

Monokuma: Attention, attention. All students and faculty should report to the library at once for a very special meeting. Again, every bastard in this school should report to the library pronto!

While everyone was distracted by the announcement, Monokuma had vanished.

"A'ight..." the pale-haired boy said. "Let's do this!"

The boy, Zenmei, Chaperon, Quartz, and Kotonoha entered, making their way to the library.

Tesla went inside with the others but before he started looking for the library, he stopped in the main hall.

"Connor!" Tesla called out. "Where are ya, man?!"

"Tesla?" Connor said, peeking out of the janitor's closet. Seeing Tesla, he ran out to meet him. "You're back in? What happened?"

"We're gonna find this guy. That's what happened." Tesla said, starting to go down a hallway. "Come on. I think the other guys went this way."

Meanwhile, one of the first people to get to the library was a guy with a blue shirt and blue jeans. While he knew the basics about what was going on he thought it would be best for him to stay in his room. Then, the thought occurred to him that he might find some help there. So he walked to the library, hoping to find someone.

"Hello, is anyone here?" he asked.

Ted and Kaoru arrives at the Library.

Ted brought some snacks and start to eat.

"Attention, attention. All students and faculty should report to the library at once for a very special meeting. Again, every bastard in this school should report to the library pronto!"

"See you at the library, loser! Heh hah hah hah!"

Muscle Man leaves the gymnasium with his spectral friend Hi-Five Ghost. What sort of danger will they find in the library? Whatever it is, it's not looking too good.

Mister Torgue: AWW SNAP! THIS LOCATION HAS ALMOST REACHED ITS MAXIMUM CAPACITY!! BLAME THE POPULATION!!!

The rest of the students and faculty arrive at the university library. It wouldn't be quiet anymore now that there's so many people around here. Many people complained about Monokuma's dictatorship, but some people are cool with it. A few wouldn't care less because they think Monokuma wasn't serious.

Meanwhile, Mordecai sees a notification window that nobody can see, saying that he completed his quest and earned 500 experience. He gained a level.

"Okay... this is starting to get weird." Mordecai commented, "Should I go to the doctor about this?"

"I dunno." Rigby shrugged, "It's like you're in a video game or something."

"Tch, as if "Trash Boat"." Mordecai read Rigby's text above his head, that somehow shows his name, "Heh heh heh..."

"I thought we agreed never call me that stupid name!"

"I know, but what I'm seeing is that your name's Trash Boat above your head, and you're level 1."

"I'm level 1?! How does it even make sense?! I'm much skilled than that!"

"Minions!! I thought I told you two to protect me from murderers?!" Claptrap meet up with the slackers, "You know I can deduct your salary until you hit rock bottom. As your new boss, I will give you orders, and if you do what I asked, then--"

"You're level 5." Mordecai commented Claptrap, "And your title said your a cowardly robot."

"How do you know...?" Claptrap noticed Mordecai has something, "Oooh, I get it! You got a gift for playing too much video games. Allow me to explain to you, meatbag! Every time you level up, you get to pick which ability you want to put in. The more you input, the better skills you get. Your stats will affect yourself and thus making you a badass! How's that for a small explanation, minion?"

"Dude... sweet!" Mordecai smiled.

"I learned that by reading a manga... from South Korea!" Claptrap guessed.

"Is this gonna take hours?" asked Gutentaag, "Ja, it will take hours- it just puts people to sleep while in a middle of a meeting. Why does he have to invite everybody over? It's ridiculous."

"Hell would be a better place than this mess..." Jurgen commented, "....Wait-- NO I DON'T WANT TO JINX IT!"

"Excuse me?" Gutentaag looked at Jurgen, "Huh. Nevermind. Just stop whining and we'll be fine."

"This meeting is boring. I'm going to get a cola..." Muscle Man walks off to the vending machine, only to find out that it only has Pepsi, "HEY! What gives with a cheap drink?!!" Then he destroyed it by punching it.

"You know this whole shit is your fault, Red." Blue is still mad at Red for ruining the university, "Just look at these people. They're scared right no-- what are you eating?!"

Red is munching Roger's hand. "Mwaff?" He talked with his mouth full, "Muff meaffin' mrieff fooff."

Kaoru was listening to claptrap's explanation. "Ah, that explains it. But the wierd thing is, the only game i've played was Sword Art Online, where I was trapped in for atleast 2 years together with this guy and Mordecai." Kaoru points at Ted.

"Huh, what?" Ted looked up while he was drinking the last cola from that vending machine.

"I wish I was trapped with you, babe." Red flirts on Kaoru, "'Cuz this red guy's gonna fuck ya allll night long!"

"It says you're level 2..." Mordecai spoke to Kaoru, "The red guy is... Level 9001?!"

"'Cuz I'm awesome!" Red grinned, "Best part is that when this meeting is over, I'm gonna teach this girl what sexual education is really about!"

"You really wanna get laid, do you?" Blue questions Red's attempt to bang Kaoru.

"Yeah, I just lvl'd up." Kaoru said, ignoring Red.

Suddenly a notification pops up in front of Ted:

You gained a buff by drinking a Cola that is over the date.

You gained 'Hyperactivity'
Buff duration: 2 minutes.
Movement speed increased by 2%

Ted started to run around the library like crazy.
