Description

In the midst of the Grand War, Patricia was kidnapped by slave traders under the employ of the Medici Family. She was later rescued by the staff of Anti-Skullgirl Lab 8. With her consent, she underwent Project:Peacock, becoming one of the best ASG soldiers in existence. The eyes of the Argus System expand her vision and fire specialized Z-rays, and the Avery Unit grants some uncanny hammerspace...among other effects.

Time as a war slave hasn't been kind to Peacock's psyche. She's developed a penchant for murder and mayhem, but keeps even that in check when it's movie time.

Red comes in right alongside Leilanie...and is shocked when she sees Valentine has both keys! "Oh no - !!"

"Well, it's been fun, everyone," Valentine spoke up, "but I've got a date with the next key in line. Ta~"

With that, Valentine threw down another pill bottle smoke bomb, this one exploding into smoke...and a whole collection of different bones. Of course, Valentine was nowhere to be found.

"HEY!!" Peacock yelled. "Cripes, that nurse REALLY knows how to rustle my jimmies...!"

"Oh nooooo!" Wario cried. "Now we lost-a the key AND any leads to the next-a one!"

"Rat-burgers!" Fawful grumbled. "We must switch over to full-reconnaissance mode!"

"Why that no good rotten little..." Pete growls, "At least you people didn't get the key." Then he thinks for a minute. "Alright... Plan B. Forget the symbol's clues, it's time to play the guessing game"

"RRRRAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!," Claptrap curses out bleeps, "C**KF**KS**TC**KSUCKT**TSONOFA***K*********!!!! I can't believe we lost our lead! Well at least Pete didn't get the key!

"THAT. BITCH. WILL. DIE!!!" Leilanie screams, and points at Claptrap, "And this is all your fault you talking trashcan!!"

"My fault?! You're the one who wants the treasure before me!" Claptrap backsasses, "Girl, you ain't nothin' compared to the true might of a Claptrap."

"Well.. it's not too late to see what the next clue lies... Maybe it shows more than one key every hour?" Leilanie guesses, "W-Whatever, I rather find the keys and kill the bitch myself!"

Red slaps a grip on Leilanie's arm. "See, that's the attitude that will dull your thinking. Get too focused on revenge, and revenge will be ALL that you think about." Red's tone went from stern to depressed on the next part: "Trust me, that's a good way to lose yourself..."

"Well, you ladies do whatcha want," Wario commented, "but the Meanie Bunch is gonna get-a those keys and-a the treasure! Later, chumps!" With that, Wario and Fawful ran off (assuming that Pete is fleeing along).

Leilanie calmed down and sighed for her loss of opportunity. "You're right... The treasure matters to us, not our revenge. But we still don't know where the next key is. Please tell me, is the symbol still showing icons?" She asked with desperation.

"There's only one way to find out! Maybe that key was actually fake. If that was fake, I would laugh at her." Claptrap goes to the symbol, "Okay... what do we got here...."

The symbol is deactivated at the moment. It does have a replay function though... or does it? Claptrap uses the magic words on the symbol.

"Aaaannnnddd RE-VEEEEAAAAAALLL!!"

The symbol glows brightly and reveals the icons of where the next key is. It may not be the same like where Valentine is going.

The icons reveal a lightning bolt and a piece of DNA. Claptrap is a little confused by what they mean, but it reminded Leilanie about that one electrical being that had issues with before.

"Lightning DNA? That's unhealthy! That's like if somebody wants to be electrocuted 24/7!", Claptrap said while Leilanie is glaring at him, "Oh, don't go there ma'am! I know what you're thinking. You just want to electrocute me because I lost the key to the treasure."

"I'm thinking about that later..." Leilanie shakes it off, "Sorry, those icons remind me of somebody... but I rather not talk about it."

"Minion! You are a genius!," Claptrap spoke, "That prettyboy you mentioned must know about the next clue! I bet he can tell us where that key is and we'll be able to find it! As long at that key is not somewhere dangerous, I'm cool with it."

"So... Shafton first?" Leilanie scratches her head, "Well, if you say so..."

"I'm pretty sure I'm right. If I'm not right about this, may the lord strike me dow---" Then the sounds of thunderclaps is heard in the skies, "I'M KIDDING! I'M KIDDING!!" It was just Steve holding a big foiling paper making all that noise.

Perhaps this is their next destination; they will have to go to Shafton City and find a person named Jagger. Jagger is their first lead, and maybe he will tell them where the next clue lies.

Jagger, meanwhile, is walking by the main mine entrance as per his patrol route. At this time, he heard a loud Dutch yell from the food court nearby (up a mid-height cliff). "Wha - ?"

However, he was cut off by someone jumping out of a portal in front of him - Peacock! She quickly pointed her gun at Jagger. "Freeze, chrome-dome!"

Jagger instinctively got into an offense stance. "That's my line! (!) Hey, hang on...you're Project:Peacock, aren't you?"

"Pleasure, copper," Peacock replied, tipping her hat with her free hand. "Sooooo...me and my colleagues got somethin' which we could use some...assistance with. Like YOUR assistance. Whaddya say?"

"What do I say? I'd have to say you're crazier than usual to think that I'd help you!" Jagger retorted.

Jagger and Peacock were distracted by the bolt almost hitting the food court's lookout area.

"Rusty's gettin' jumpy..." Peacock muttered. She was turning back to Jagger, "So like I was sayin' - "

However, Jagger was already starting to conjure a field of electromagnetism around his hand, creating a red spherical pulse. "(!!!) Ah scrap!!" Peacock shouted as Jagger focused the pulse around her. She may have an organic brain, but her mechanical body started spazzing out from the magnetic interference, before finally locking up and becoming unresponsive. "Ooooogh..."

"Well, that should hold you long enough for arrest," Jagger cracked.

"Argh...!" Peacock's limbs wouldn't move an inch - the circuits were crippled by Jagger's magnetic psionics. She can only hope that Claptrap and Steve heard her previous shout.

"Uhh..--" Then Claptrap hears Peacock's "AH SCRAP!!" phrase, "Aw Skagflaps! I can hear from over there! HANG ON, MINION! YOUR FEARLESS LEADER IS COMING TO RESCUE YOU!"

Claptrap drives ahead in fulls speed, and he is on his way to where Peacock is. Claptrap finds her in distress by her captive named Jagger and proceeds to headbutt him with full force. As for Steve, he is too occupied with his delicious milkshake.
