Physical Description: Sammael has a humanoid frame that looks somewhat like a skeleton, but with a skull like a raven, large wings on its back, and red and black flesh covering the bones (but barely). Though he may be an angel he looks nothing like the traditional depiction of one.

Personality: Sammael has not quite figured out that he’s a fallen angel and still believes he is doing the work of God. Any sign of paganism, or disrespect against God, sends him into a berserk rage. Naturally, he has a holier-than-thou attitude about pretty much everything.

History: Sammael was once the angel of death, but he would not bow to humans once they were created, saying that God was greater than all and he would bow to no other. He was struck down like Lucifer, but never realized how far he had fallen, choosing to stay out of hell while still believing he was serving heaven. He now works with Majestic, thinking that now bowing down to humanity would make God finally let him back into heaven.

Equipment: Sammael fights with a staff named Perdition, topped with the image of a moon and capable of slicing through flesh and bone as easily as any sword.

Abilities: Sammael wields powerful magic based on light and darkness and, while technically blind, can see anything with a soul just fine no matter how well they hide. He can also seal magic and hypnotize people if he doesn't feel like blasting them.

Other: Originally this character was named Penance and was a good guy… technically. However, certain comments made me rethink the direction I wanted to take him. As for why he clearly has powers but works for Majestic... there's a reason for that.
