Sonic is not just your average blue hedgehog; he is the fastest hedgehog in existence. He can outrun a road runner or a cheetah with a boost of speed, and is able to break the sound barrier. His primary attacks are spin dash and homing attacks.

So begins...
Sonic the Hedgehog's Story
The blue hedgehog is relaxing behind a shady tree, and an orange two-tailed fox is modifying some sort of gadget. Their names are Sonic and Tails, two of the famous freedom fighters in Unita. But right now, it seems that they are taking a day off.. or so they thought.
Mario had come running out of Harmonia into the wide open grasslands.
"Hm, this-a would be the best-a place to find him, I presume."

Meanwhile, over where Sonic and Tails were at, a strange faint static sound was heard.

"Hey, what gives?" Tails blinks and checks his gadget, "That's funny. I hear a faint static but I don't see a picture from it."
"Hey Tails, could you keep it down? I'm trying to have a little me-time~" Sonic is stretching, "Sometimes a hedgehog needs his R&R."
"But... I lowered the volume down." Tails remarked.

Mario searched Meadowlands far and wide, trying to locate Sonic...

Just then, Tails's device starts flashing white text on a black BG.

"Uh... Sonic?" Tails looks nervous and calls him, "Something is really wrong with my gadget..."
"Let me see." Sonic gets up and checks the gadget. He reads the text in the black background and looks at Tails with a curious look on his face. "Hey, I didn't know you can make video games! Whatever this gadget is talking about, I guess a little game wouldn't hurt."
"But--!" Tails stammered a little, "I never make video games in my life!"

The screen then showed what looks like a classic Sonic game, seemingly on Angel Island Zone. However, the background was red and on fire, and Tails was the playable character - no rings, no extra lives, nothing.
"You may have to include the UI in the game, Tails." Sonic commented while playing it, "Ya can't have a good game without how many rings you collected and how many lives you have left. Hey! Looks like the first level of your prototype involves stopping Dr. Eggman from destroying the forest!"
"But I don't remember putting those...!" Tails remarked on the situation and takes the gadget from him, "Somebody is trying to hack into my gadget!"
"You don't suppose it's Dr. Eggman again, right?"
"It could be... but--"

Tails moves the in-game character to the right. "And why am I in the game? I didn't put that in the game either," Tails ponders, "But what I find it strange is that there are no enemies, no rings, and everything is on fire. It's almost as if somebody is trying to set it up."
Tails keeps moving for a distance. Then, suddenly, several images of the black-eyed Sonic pops up on the screen, along with a loud, dreadful laugh. After that, that black-eyed Sonic appeared, rushing at Tails (in-game) as a heart-racing tune played.
"Is that... you?" Tail's eyes widened, "What is going on with this?!" He makes the in-game character trying to flee from "Sonic".
"Tails?" Sonic crosses his arms, "You're just being paranoid. So what if that's me in the game. Just because I am too fast for you doesn't mean that I have to--"
"WHAT THE?!" Tails screamed at that moment when the black-eyed Sonic catch Tails.

At that moment, Tails would feel something touching his shoulders. Standing over him from behind is the black-eyed Sonic, a murderous grin stretching across his face.
"You're too slooo-ooow~"
Just then, reality warped, making the real Sonic see nothing but pitch-blackness for a while. As for Tails...

Mario was coming within vicinity of where Sonic is. However, his vision is also suddenly blanketed by darkness. "(!) Hey, what-a happened to the light?!"
"You're too slooo-ooow~"
Just then, reality warped, making the real Sonic see nothing but pitch-blackness for a while. As for Tails...

Tails is screaming, and after when the light turns back on, he suddenly disappears! Sonic's eyes widen in shock that the only thing left behind is the gadget.
"TAILS!" Sonic screamed. That "virus" somehow kidnaps Tails and vanish into thin air. Sonic will have to find the false Sonic and rescue Tails, "Alright faker! You really crossed the line this time! I'm gonna find you and show you who's really faster!" He said with a vengeance. He knows for a fact that the false Sonic may be a scary looking being, but that does not mean that he is faster than the real blue blur.
"TAILS!" Sonic screamed. That "virus" somehow kidnaps Tails and vanish into thin air. Sonic will have to find the false Sonic and rescue Tails, "Alright faker! You really crossed the line this time! The darkness blinked away from Mario's sight as well, just as he neared the tree where Sonic was at. "Sonic, I - !" However, Mario suddenly tripped on a rock on the ground, tumbling right into Sonic.
"WHOA--" Sonic gets tumbled by Mario. Quite comical, but that hurts! "Ow....." Sonic noticed Mario and gets him up and dusts him off, "Looks like you're in a serious pickle. What's up?"
"S-Sonic, I - !" Mario said, in a panic. He paused a moment to get up on his feet, then continued: "SONIC! Princess Peach is-a kidnapped by...well, by someone who looks a lot-a like you, and...!"
"Someone who looks like me-?" Sonic looks down and is pretty mad about what the false Sonic is doing to Tails, "Let me guess. It's the faker who also kidnapped my best friend Tails, right?"
"Tails, too - ?" Mario looked around, and saw Tails's handheld device sitting on the ground. The screen showed that same eerie red static. It soon showed an image - a black BG with a faint dark-red silhouette of Sonic, with these words:

"Yeah - ! some creepy knock-off kidnapped Tails after he checked his device for any suspicious bugs." Sonic explained as he picked up Tails' gadget, "And I guess that one bug is a virus who took him away."
