Both studious and creative, Ryland excels in generally every class, even if he doesn't particularly like the subject. When he is not in class or studying, he is usually in his room either writing attempting a new potion
History
Ryland and his brother Reid are the sons of a muggle-born witch and pureblood wizard. They grew up in the magical community of Washington, DC, the city that their mother represents as a member of the Senatorium. Their father is a notable journalist for the national Magical newspaper The Wizarding Times. Mr. and Mrs. Pierce instilled in their sons a sense of integrity and working for the things that they have. While they had the means to give the boys practically anything they wanted, they did not do so, insisting that the boys do chores and work for the things they wanted.
