Scott Maverick isn't your average eighteen-year-old boy. When he was sixteen, he was diagnosed with lung cancer, immediately putting a wall up between him and his friends. The once happy, energetic teen who blew things up in his backyard was now a patient at the local hospital, practically living there until he beat this thing. It's a good thing the kid is a fighter. He's kicked this thing in the butt over and over again. It just keeps coming back for more. He still does the stuff he used to do: set fires, play pranks, and so on. The boy is looked upon as a trouble-maker, which he is. On top of all his uniqueness, Scotty has an odd addiction to ketchup and has stated that he'd rather die than let someone cut his hair.
