Personality: Saki isn't the typical type to get up in front of a crowd singing and dancing. But for some reason when she get on that stage everything melts away and a clear strong erupts from her small petite frame. But she has to get to that point. As of right now that is reserved for in her room at home or occasionally by accident in the girls restroom at school. Which was where she got caught up into the Glee Club.

She is loving and kind to those around her and has a strong fear of conflict. Very intelligent and committed to her studies, but she has that deep seeded desire to be something more then the mousy little bookworm.

Appearance: Saki is a small petite girl, 5'2 and weighing about 110 lbs. She is half Japanese and half Filipino, with long dark brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. Her style is typically very quiet and reserved, wearing long skirts or jeans and blouses. Her hair and make up reflect that as well, her hair is typically pulled up halfway on top and wearing only lip gloss with eyeliner and mascara. This is becuase she believes she has a natural beauty that shouldn't be covered.

Background: Saki was born to Kenji Asuhara and Myla Bayani, when Saki was four years old her father was killed in a car accident. Leaving his wife Myla a widow and single mother, but having a will set in place they were well cared for and Myla worked as well to keep Saki cared for. But this meant that Saki was left with a babysitter often and the young girl developed into a shy girl who liked to read.

She has just moved and is new to Newberry High School, she has always tried hard to stay under bullies radars and do her school work which is very important to her. But she has an affinity for singing, and word got around to Mr Russel that she could sing after someone heard her in the girls restroom singing while washing her hands.

"Saki you get ready for school" said a woman's voice from the other side of the bathroom door.

"Yes, mom Im getting ready" Saki said as she put on a thin layer of lip gloss it wasn't even day light yet but she had a long journey to school. Her mother would drop her off half way but Saki would have to walk the rest of the way so her mother could get to work on time. Saki didn't mind too much her mother's job was important and it was a step in the right direction, she had been so grateful that the company had transferred her to Newberry.

Saki walked down the stair straitening her hair with her hand one last time.

"You want breakfast or you just going to wait till you get to school" said her mother in her think Filipino accent.

Saki smiled "I think I'll just have a glass of juice this morning. I'm just so nervous right now I don't think I could eat something" she said.

Her mother smiled and nodded as Saki grabbed a can of juice from the fridge and then headed to the car, it was some time till they reached the halfway point.

"You have a good day... I love you" said her mother, Saki smiled and nodded.

"You too mom" she said as she turned towards the direction of the high school, Saki enjoyed the walk it gave her time to collect her thought before stepping into her new high school. Just as she was getting to the entrance of the school. A guy pulled into the parking lot in a brown pickup and headed into the school. Saki decided to pull out the paper with her schedule and locker number on it as she went in just behind him.

She went down the hallway looking at her paper and then at the numbers, "Am I missing something" she said aloud to herself slightly chewing on her lip.

Aire was looking at herself in her mirror that was in her locker when she heard her Dad, pulling her books from her locker she shut it and smiled "Hi Dad, got here early today didn't you?" she asked remembering not seeing him at home today. She then looked to see a new girl come and go to the locker near her, gah new girls, she eyed the girl over...she wasn't bad looking kinda pretty she thought...but stuffed that thought down. She was never nice to new girls, it was part of her thing at school, she had to stay at the top and being at the top you just couldn't be that nice, Newberry was a harsh school, there was many cliques.

Aire looked back at her Dad "I hope Kendall and Jessi will get here soon. Its been too long since ive seen them last" thought it really only has been a day since she seen them. She then looked down to the right of her locker a few down from hers Takanori was trying to get his lock open. He was one that she had fun picking on for boys especially his looks and his stupid beat up truck, soooo nerdy she thought and laughed to herself.

She so wanted to say something but kept her mouth shut because her Dad was there "ah.. Dad I need to go socialize...catch up with friend ya know?".

She then saw another new girl, what was with this with all the freaken new girls, well they will learn who is on top soon she thought to herself they will learn, she heard the girl say "Am I missing something", since her Dad was here she was going to be 'nice', walking over she smiled a little "Hi im Aire, one of the head cheerleaders, I couldn't help but over hear you, do you need help with something?"

Saki was startled slightly by someone "Hi im Aire, one of the head cheerleaders, I couldn't help but over hear you, do you need help with something?" Saki turned and looked at the very pretty girl. She could tell that she was probably a popular girl especially if she was a cheerleader.

"Ummm my names Saki, Im new and I'm just looking for my locker is all" she said in her quiet mousy tone of voice. Saki glanced over at the guy she had seen go in ahead of her struggling with his own locker.

"I think it's over there by that guys locker... but thank you for offering to help me, it was nice to meet you... excuse me" she said as she made her way over by the guy. There was a locker in between them and she smiled over at him as she started to put in her combination. With a few clicks the locker came open, Saki glanced back at the girl that had tried to help her before and she felt that maybe she had been slightly rude. But as there was a teacher standing there in the hallway perhaps, that was the reason she didn't get teased.

Being teased was nothing new for Saki, the little mousy book worm that studied instead of hanging out at the mall, or spending forever on her cellphone like everyone else did. She pulled her back pack off her shoulder and set things in her locker, still making side glances at the guy standing next to her. He was kind of cute and had glasses, she smiled and then shook the thought out of her head.

Aire looked to her Dad when he said "hey aire i need a favor sweetie" she nodded "okay Dad..just uh hold on one second".

She looked to Saki and was ready to go help her when she said "I think it's over there by that guys locker... but thank you for offering to help me, it was nice to meet you... excuse me". Aire was baffled and completely shocked when the girl just kinda blew her over. Well..this Saki girl just really dug herself a hole she thought. She saw Saki look back at her and she bit her tongue, she so wanted to go over to the girl and give the girl a warm warm welcome. But her Dad being there she will just have to corner the girl later.

She looked back to her Dad with sort of an annoyed look "okay Dad whats do you need? I need to go find Jessi and Kendall...we have a lot to talk about" her eyes then went to the new girl and gave her sort of a fake smile then looked back to her Dad.

Takanori had finally managed to open his locker. He took off the lock and glanced at the girl, who seemed to be looking at him. Embarssed, he turned right when his hand had swung open the locker. There was a cracking sound as Takanori banged his head agaisnt the locker. "My god, I hate myself" he groaned as he staggered backwards holding onto his forehead. Not only did he hit his head, he did it in front of two girls! Two good looking girls at that. Takanori blinked a few times, then realized his vision was blurry. His glasses had fallen off, probably when he got hit. Takanori dropped his bookbag and dropped onto the ground on his hands and knees, searching for his glasses. His good day had skipped to bad and went straight to worse.

(Kendall is sending a text to "everyone she knows", who is every student in this RP, so EVERYONE is receiving it)

'Being early is worse than being late' Kendall silently decided. Despite spending forever picking out an outfit she had gotten to school too soon (curtesy of her mom) and was sipping a chai latte in the cafeteria, writing a text to everyone she knew.

Kendall: hi everyone! so, my b-day's tomorrow, and i'm throwing a party tomorrow nite @ my house!

Kendall added her address and hit send. When she saw Bri walk in, she waved her over, smiling. She saw that Bri looked a little tired, but decided to ignore it.

Saki had managed to skate under the radar for the past couple of days of school... she was slowly getting into the rhythm of the school and everyone in it. She decided that it was a good idea that she stay clear of the the cheerleaders, something that was almost disastrous the first day but thankfully nothing too bad resulted from her folly.

The day had gone well and students where settling in to their various clubs and organizations, not something Saki would normally look forward to but her mother was trying to encourage her to do some sort of after school program. "You need variety Saki" she would say and Saki would try to make some sort of excuse as to why she couldn't. Whether it was the fact that she was practically untalented, also clubs and activities after school often cut into study time.

As she was wandering down the hall thinking of this she heard singing coming from the stage area through an open door. Saki was intrigued and impressed by the voices she was hearing and quietly slipped into the room. She watched as people stepped up to the microphone and began to sing, everyone was amazing "I could never do anything like this" she said to herself. But hearing the music only made her want to sing along, she stood there clutching a book to her chest singing to herself quietly to each song.

Jessi Jones

Jessi watched as Aire went up their and sung her heart out. She was surprised by the song choice, it was quite a good choice to tell the people that she was a lesbian. She giggles a little when Aire sits down. "Beautiful." She says then nods. She watches all the other people got up and sung their hearts out. "You were amazing to Sonny!" Jessi tells the girl. She nods in approve to both and waited for the last spot. She needed to blow them all out of the waters with her wonderful voice. She raises her hand once the girl finished and said, "Mr. Russell, you wouldn't mind if I was last right? I'm kind of nervous right now.." She says, making up a excuse. She wasn't really nervous, that just wasn't her. She was the most confident person she knew, but Mr. Russell luckily didn't know that. The blonded girl sat there, waiting for her time to shine.

Saki decided that sitting down in the back row wouldn't hurt anything, everyone was concentrating on who was singing anyway they weren't going to notice her. She sat down amazed by everyone's bravery "It must be nice to be able to have the courage to just get up there" she thought to herself as another girl got up to the microphone. Saki loved singing but when it came to getting up in front of others thats what made it hard for her. Even her own mother had never heard her sing except for may be through her bedroom door. But she still had the desire to sing "I could just get up and do it... but I'd probably suck and make a fool of myself"

Jessi Jones

Sighing she watched as the people sung and got down from the front of the room. She smiles and claps each time. It looks like everybody has quite amazing talent. That would be just perfect for the Glee club and maybe even more people would want to join since a lot of popular people have entered it. Jessi's bright blue eyes flicker as she turns around to see a new girl sitting in the back row. She smiles then looks at Aire before saying, "I'll be right back." Jessi gets up slowly then walks over to the brown haired girl in the back. "Hey, I'm Jessi. And Not stupid, why don't you tryout? Whats to lose?" She says then smiles, extending her arm to shake the girls hand. After shaking the girls hand then nods then says, "At least think about it, I'm pretty sure Mr. Russell would want as much people as he can get." She says before shruging lightly and walking back to the front to sit down next to her beautiful girlfriend. Jessi grabs the girls hand and entwines their fingers, smiling.

Saki was enjoying everyone's voices who knew that there were so many talented singers in the school, she thought a moment about slipping out, but stopped when a girl came walking down the isle to her. A slight feeling of panic jumped into the expression on Saki's face and she was sure the girl had seen it. The girl looked like everything the perfect teenage girl should look like. Blonde hair, perfect skin, beautiful body, everything in Saki's mind that she wasn't.

Hey, I'm Jessi. And Not stupid, why don't you tryout? Whats to lose?" she said with big smile holding out her hand to shake Saki's.

Saki kind of inwardly laughed at herself for a moment she had been sure that Jessi would tell her to leave.

"I'm... Saki... nice to meet you", she looked up at the stage "I.... I'm not that great of a singer really... I wouldn't want to offend anyone with my terrible singing" she laughed at herself.

"At least think about it, I'm pretty sure Mr. Russell would want as much people as he can get." She says before shruging lightly and walking back to the front to sit down.

Saki looked over at Mr Russell and sighed he was the cute teacher she had at third period and recalled him saying something about this in class a few days before. But then she had been concentrating on getting her assignment done so, trying out didn't even cross her mind. It was something that was obviously important to him and had said that he had been in the Glee club when he had attended Newberry. Saki swallowed at got up from her seat and moved up just to the seats right behind Mr. Russell.

Gently she tapped him on the shoulder as he had his eyes on the stage, "E...excuse me Mm...Mr Russell" she blushed bright red and looked down at the floor. "I...I... was wondering i...i..if I might try. I...I'm not that good but... at least I....I can say I tried" she stuttered horribly.
