Weapon: Two “fire swords”, so to speak. The blades are made of pure fire/magic (The only metal is on the handles) and can be different lengths as needed. They can also be manipulated like swords or whips, depending on Vera’s needs. She also carries around a small pistol (that shoots fire bullets) just in case, but only uses it when her swords are useless.

Combat Style: She is best at close range combat, where she can predict her enemies moves and use their strengths against them. She can fight long range, but not half as well as she can fight close range.
Brief History: Vera’s parents died in the later years of the 2020’s great calamity, leaving her and her older brother to fend for themselves in the harsh culture of Russia. Later, in a small and “insignificant” fight between countries, her brother was murdered by an American. Needless to say, she hates America and Americans with a passion.
When Vera was 16 (and finally old enough to join), she entered the academy and started studying warfare. She quickly advanced her skills with fire weapons and, determined to avenge her family, graduated in a short 2 and a half years with a reputation already carved out for her. From there she climbed up the ranks, jumping from Private to Sergeant Major in a shocking 3 and a half years. In her time in the Russian military, she pushed the expectations of any female, and was given the nick/codename “Palya Vera”, meaning “Scorching Faith” (Palya is short for palyashchiy, which means scorching, and Vera in Russian means Faith). Her winning streak seems nearly unbeatable, and there has yet to be a man who can rival her. Everyone who challenges her ends up with scorched skin and a burned ego. This reputation (along with numerous victories in difficult missions) earned her the title of “Russia’s Paladin” ((Again, assuming you let her be a Paladin ;) )).
