A fearless UNSC airman willing to do whatever the job takes, no matter how dangerous or how risky.
Nathan is daring and risky, but also compassionate and kind. He is extremely loyal, determined, and stubborn; he would follow anyone or anything to the edge of Hell and back. He can be both quiet and social, sometimes waiting at the edge and listening, sometimes getting in and giving his opinion vividly and passionately. He will stay by his beliefs, and would never harm anything without good reason, even Covenant.
Nathan always carries the following things on his body:
Nathan Redferne was born on January 15, 2525 on the planet Harvest. He was only an infant when the Covenant attacked Harvest, forcing the civilians to evacuate. Nathan was trusted to a friend, and his family was put on a separate ship than him. The ships took off and headed for space; however, the ship holding the Redfernes was one of the first destroyed; Nathan, however, survived. The couple he was entrusted to decided to raise him as their own child. His adopted family told him what happened when he was six years old. Since then, Nathan vowed he would avenge his parents' deaths. Twelve years later, Nathan recruited into the UNSC Navy, as a combat pilot. He trained to fly ships like Pelicans, Longswords and Shortswords, along with rudimentary ship control; he was also trained in basic combat procedures (firearms, combat, medical training, etc). His first chance, he shipped off to the front line. He quickly gained a place on a UNSC cruiser, the Chimera. He was assigned first as a Longsword pilot, and quickly made himself known through his daring. After a harrowing ordeal, in which his Longsword was destroyed, Nathan was given a Pelican transport (he came to call it "Mara," along with various other names), along with the crew needed to fly one. He continued to make his mark, and has saved countless human lives, along with killing hundreds of Covenant. He has flown insertion ops, combat ops, he even had to control navigation on the Chimera when her navigation officer was incapacitated in battle.
