Full Physical Description:
Jean-Luc cuts an intimidating figure to say the least. Built akin to a reinforced bull elephant, and standing at a not unimpressive six foot eleven, one could guess his profession without too much hard work. He was once described as almost handsome, but time and fate have not been kind to him. His nose has been broken no less than fourteen times, and various other injuries have marred a once promising face. His eyes are a light blue in color, but generally carry a glint of bitterness or sarcasm. His hair was once a dirty blonde, but a combination of a receding hairline and his work as a bodyguard mean that he shaves his head. His face usually carries some degree of stubble, but never enough to hint at an attempt to grow a beard or mustache, heaven forbid. His body is dotted with tattoos, mostly variants on emblems of the Angels and the Choir. He is also covered in a notable amount of scars from various weapons, but unlike many of his peers, Jean doesn't treat them like medals or hard won prizes, but that isn't to say that he is by any means ashamed of them.

Personality
Jean has worked as a bodyguard to the younger and slightly infirm members of the Angel's inner-most circle--the Robert family--for almost twenty-five years. They are as much his family as his own flesh and blood, and even with one truly surviving member, he remains completely and utterly devoted. One word against them could very well award you a life sentence, regardless of your allegiance. He remains cold and distance for the most part, a reserved man who only speaks when he feels he has something worthwhile to say.

Jean was not as deeply affected by the war as many others were. He doesn't know if it was his upbringing or a different way of coping, but he remains one of the most mentally intact survivors. The breaking of the young Rose was almost enough to break his heart, and in many regards, he holds himself responsible for what she has begun. He will not stand in her way, not in a million years, but he remains by her side to guide and protect her still, especially when she is in the company of so many old enemies.

Character Background
Jean-Luc is of French decent, and still carries a trace of his forefather's accent. He was raised to protect others, like his parents, and their parents before them. He was trained to fight and use weaponry from the moment he could stand on two feet, and at the age of thirteen, began his apprenticeship of sorts as a guard within the Roberts family. He grew up with many of the children that would become great leaders, but he took a shine to the black sheep that was Rose. Such an innocent, peaceful creature could not be further from the Robert's way of life... Jean was the one who suggested that she should be adopted into the Choir, as it would provide her with 24/7 protection, and would at least provide her with basic skills of self defense.
