Peyton's Story

Peyton quietly made her way to her bedroom, her parents still asleep and her siblings probably still in there rooms. She stayed out all night again, she didn't want to be in the house, it was way too hard for her especially with her secret. Though she didn't know why she was even being quiet it isn't like her parents would notice she was even gone. They probably think she got home by curfew and just went to bed, well they sure got that wrong. She passed Lexia and Cas's room, she heard Lexia puke and sighed, she might as well check if she is okay. She was still in her clothes she had on yesterday and her purse was on her shoulder.

She knocked on the door and opened it slightly "Hey Lexia you okay? I heard you puking...need anything?" Even thought all her parents attention went to Lexia now, she wasn't upset with Lexia, it wasn't her fault she got sick and she still felt close to her little sister.

Lexia:
Smiling lightly as she saw her sister, she sat up weekly, "Hey sis... Where you been all night?" She really looked up to Peyton as a girl and she always had looked for her big sister's approval. She could hear hear Caspen in the bathroom talking to Rex. She missed how the family used to be before all of this... "Were you with some guy?" She giggled slightly.

"Hey sis... Where you been all night?"Peyton went over to her sisters bed and sat on the edge "how'd you know I was out all night" she then winked at Lexia "Yea I was out all night..." she was still not sure if she was ready to tell her sister or anyone about her secret, she didn't want to cause any other trouble to the family. "Yes I was with Jay...we went to a party...then we just sat and talked half the night" she felt her stomach churn. Ugh not now please not now. Morning sickness has been a problem for her lately thought it was happening through out the day. "umm excuse me for a moment" she ran into the bathroom her brothers where in and threw up in the toilet. She looked up at her brothers "sorry about that..." she then walked back out to her sister and sat back on the bed.

Caspen:
As he hugged the younger boy back, Caspen ruffled his hair "Hey, I was just checking on you, I know listening to her puke all night is not exactly the ideal situation, but I just wanted to make sure you were doing okay?" He bit his lip and looked around the room, at Rex's laptop on his bed, "Please tell me you weren't up all night on that thing..." Caspen had a way of telling how people were doing and even if he hadn't , the pure look on Rex's face would have told him that he hadn't slept. As the parents of the large family had sort of left off, Caspen had taken the responsibility to pick up some of the slack. As His other sister ran in and puked in the bathroom across from them, Caspen shook his head, "Is it spreading?" He hollered at Peyton, joking.

Lexia:
As Lexia watched Peyton walk back in from the jack-and-jill bathroom, she bit her lip, "Well... I know why I'm puking... what about you?" She made room for Peyton on the bed and looked up at her, "You sure you just talked? " Lexia had no idea why her sister was sick and she hoped that someone would find out, or she would, not that that was likely. "Caspen's gunna find out what ever it is, you know he's a snoop..." Cas was the first to figure out Lex was sick in the first place, and the first to know anytime she came out of remission.

Justin:
As he was finally set up on the camera, Justin became very nervous, he had spent hours talking to Rex and late nights on the phone with him, but nothing would prepare him for when they met in real life. What if Rex didn't like Justin? He reached for the medicine his shrink had given him and took an extra one, just for today. The plan had been they would Skype and find out where to meet up, and then around lunch, go to eat at the place they chose. Hearing a sound coming from down the hall, Justin got up, "Hello?" It was his agent,"what do you want?" The man hurried to him, "You have a shoot, be ready in ten!" As the man hurried off, Justin grabbed his arm, "No, I can't today... I have plans." after a long argument, Justin made it back to his computer and fixed his hair one more time.

Peyton heard Capen but sorta just ignored it and rolled her eyes "Well... I know why I'm puking... what about you?" She bit her lip and looked down to her hands "Well I know why I am puking....but its nothing you or anyone else needs to worry about...its my own problem." She shook her head "You sure you just talked? "Well last night yea, we did some dancing and cuddled in bed...but don't tell mom and dad. Its not like they will notice any way." She reached over and brushed Lexia's hair out of her face when she said "Caspen's gunna find out what ever it is, you know he's a snoop..." "Well I don't know if he will find out about this any time soon..."... at least not till she starts showing she thought to herself.

Lexia:
She chuckled as her sister was being super secretive. She rolled to the edge of the bed as she felt the nausea hit her. She leaned over and puked into the bin they had there, it was half-way full. It needed to be emptied, but she didn't want to bother anyone with it at the moment, "Okay, just... stay healthy, okay?"

Caspen:
"Alright, have fun." He made his way back to Lex's bed and over to where she was leaning and puking. He squatted in front of her, "You okay for a few minutes while I empty this?" She nodded and took it to the bathroom, stopping and turning to Peyton, "So? You alright?" He flushed it down the toilet and brought the empty bin back to her. "Here you go."

Justin:
As he adjusted everything, he checked the time, it was time for the video call. He clicked to call him and waited for him to answer, his hands sweating heavily as he twiddled his thumbs.

Peyton watched as her sister went to throw up, she moved and heald Lexia's hair as she vomited. Though she had to turn her head so she wouldn't get sick also. "Okay, just... stay healthy, okay?" She helped her sister back to a comfortable sitting position on the bed, not sure if pregnant is healthy or not. "I will Lexia don't worry okay" she smiled softly to her sister. She then saw Caspen grab the bucket before she could and heard him "So? You alright?" She knew her brother was kind of protective of his sisters and she gave him a "I will talk to you later..alone"look. She knew she could trust Caspen but she just didn't want to burden Lexia with it, so she will just try to catch up with him at some point to tell him. She turned her attention back to her sister "So Lexia want to play some video games today?"

Caspen:
As Lexia was about to say something, Caspen made his way over to them, setting the bin down, "Lex has got chemo today..." Lex had nearly forgotten, and groaned slightly. The hospital was not a long drive, but it was still a drive, and the one thing that she didn't need at the moment was another reason to puke. "Cas, do I have to? I-" She was cut off by the look from Caspen, "Lex, you know you need this, come on, we got to get you packed up and in the car." He grabbed her bin, handing it to her. She held it close, knowing she would most likely need it. She looked at her sister, "Sorry."

Peyton frowned and then quickly changed it to a smile "want me to come with you today Lex? I have no plans today and maybe in a couple days when you feel up to it we can play a game?" she looked to Caspen "so what do you need help with? what does she need this time?"

Caspen:
Smiling over at Peyton, Caspen nodded, "Thanks, Peyton... I'm gunna bring her down to the car, can you grab her bag and bring it down to the car for me?" Lexia groaned, "I can walk on my own." Caspen picked Lexia up, one arm under her knees and the other on her back, "Yeah, well, save your energy. Here-" He handed her the bin for her to hold and then looked over at Peyton, "Alright, I think we are all set, Peyton, did you want to come or are you busy?"

Laurie yawned and stretched as she made her way across the landing in her white, fluffy shower robe. When she came to Cas and Lexia's room she put her ear to the door to listen, "Alright, I think we are all set" she heard before turning the door knob and pushing the door forward. Once she entered, the smell of vomit hit her like a punch in the face and she almost had to leave, but she kept a smile on her face "Morning, did you sleep well?" she asked, making her way over to clean up "Are you going for her chemotherapy?... Would you like me to come?" She said, gulping down her fear at the thought of going into the hospital. Once she'd finished fluffing the pillows and making the bed Laurie stood beside Peyton and Caspen, looking down at her daughter clutching the bin in her hands. "Oh my angel.." she sighed, stroking Lexia's cheek.

Peyton got up off the bed and went over grabbing her sisters bag "Alright, I think we are all set, Peyton, did you want to come or are you busy?"She looked to Lexia "I'm not busy at the moment so I will come". She thought maybe she could try to talk to Caspen today but just as she thought this she heard the door open and saw her mother come in, she was glad her mom wasn't awake when she snuck in this morning. Though her parents don't even pay much attention to her anymore, ever since Lexia got sick. She used to be very close to her mom but for awhile now she felt more detatched from them, she doesn't even want to tell them about the baby...she sighed not saying anything to her mom and looked to Caspen "im ready to go when you are Cas."

"I'm ready to go when you are Cas."

Lillie opened the door to the room when she heard this, a small smile set on her lips. She had just been walking down the hall, trying to find out where everybody was. Apparently, they were here. She stepped inside, smiling even wider. She looked around, confused. What were they talking about? "Where are you going, Caspen? Can I come, Peyton? How are you, Lexi?" She said, trying to include everybody in her conversation. Couldn't have people feeling left out.

Lexia:
Smiling at her mom, Lexia shook her head, "You don't have to come mom, I'm fine..." She sighed and watched as Peyton went to the car and Caspen carried her to the car. She sighed as she was set down and Caspen talked to Peyton. She couldn't stand how much her sickness interfered with everyone's life.

Caspen:
Looking over at Peyton, Caspen smiled, "Look I know this has kind of taken over your life, and I'm sorry about this whole situation, you know? But it's gunna get better." He hugged his sister before getting into the car, and checking the text. He texted her back, "I'm taking Lexia to the hospital for chemo, you wanna go out to lunch somewhere near the hospital."

Lexia:
As if on cue, right as Lexia was about to talk, she felt it coming. Leaning forward, she emptied her stomach into the bin and now she had begun to dry heave into the bin again. Dalton was driving but turned his head to see, "Lex?" He gave a thumbs up to him.

Caspen:
Driving quickly down the high ways, but trying not to drive too crazily, Caspen did his best to keep everything good for him sister, who was now out cold on the chair in the back. She didn't look great, but not too bad. Ever since he had been young, Caspen had been able to tell how bad off people were. Which reminded him about his sister. He looked over at Peyton and bit his lip.
Finally, they arrived at the hospital and Caspen was relieved. "Peyton, do you mind taking the bin in? and dalton get the bag? She's out and I don't want to wake her." No matter how many times Caspen lifted up the sick child, he was always surprised by how little she weighed. It had gotten worse sine the last time they were here. He carried the limp girl into the hospital, setting her down in a wheel chair as she woke up groggily. Caspen kissed her on the cheek and was called to do paper work for her.

Lexia:
When she woke, there were doctors all around her, and Lexia tried to find her siblings, but she was so groggy, and her eyes hurt to move.

Lexia:
Smiling at the familiar face, Lexia rubbed her eyes and looked around. The people around here knew her, so it wouldn't take long for her chemo stuff to get set up. She sighed as they called her name and the doctors took her and dalton back with them, for some reason Caspen wanted Peyton to stay back with him. Probably the same reason she was acting so weird earlier.

Caspen:
Once Lexia and Dalton were gone, caspen pulled Peyton to the side, in a lone hallway and looked at her. He was known to have speeches, but he didn't want that now. "Peyton... look, you've been getting sick a lot, and acting... off, to say the least. Don't make me have to guess what it is... If it's what I think it is, then you need to tell someone, that's important...' Taking a breath and changing his tone, he bit his lip, "You know I'll always be here for you, Peyton, I'm your brother, you can tell me anything."

Damian:
Pulling out his cell after a few cigarettes, Damian texted Peyton, "Where u at? " He sighed as one of the guys passed him the beer. there were 5 guys in the room and six girls, a couple of them were strippers, but he wasn't sure about the rest. He chuckled and drank the beer quickly.

Caspen:
Caspen knew what she would say before Peyton had said it, and when she did, Caspen pulled her into a tight hug, rubbing her back in small circles. "Shh.. You're gunna be okay... We'll figure it out... I promise." He kissed her forehead and then looked at her, "You're gunna be fine.."

Lillie looked into Rex's room one last time and smiled before almost bouncing out of the room. She made her way down the steps and turned on the TV. She turned on the Netflix and looked around at the movies for a couple of minutes, but she didn't find anything she wanted. "I can't find anything! I need help!" Lillie called, loud enough for anybody that was still here to hear. She really didn't like everybody being so serious now. When Lexia got back, she would play with all of them. Caspen, Peyton, Lexia, Rex, all of them. That would cheer them up.

Caspen:
Caspen pulled his sister into a hug again and bit his lip, " Well, as for mom, she will get over it... and as for Damian..." At the mention of the boy's name, Cas flinched, he hated that kid, but he was his sister's boyfriend. "If he loves you then He'll help, if not, then you've got me, and the rest of the family..."

Damien:
With an exasperated sigh, Damian threw his coat on, "I don't know why you insist on doing things to bother me," he texted to Peyton as he was now parking in the hospital parking complex. He searched the halls until he found Peyton standing in one of them and grabbed her tightly by the wrist. With a fake smile to Caspen, he pulled on Peyton's arm with his grip painfully tight. "If youll excuse us." Damian was irate. He didn't know what he would do to her for this, but he knew she had to be punished for making him come all the way down here.

Kevin:
Kevin smiled as the little girl talked, "Whatever you want to watch." When Laurie came down, Kevin smiled, "Hi miss... How are you?"

Randy:
As he sat next to his wife, Randy held her hand and rubbed her hand with his thumb. He grabbed a piece of popcorn and ate it quickly. Randy threw his arm around his wife and kissed her cheek as the kids decided what movie to watch.

Kevin:
Kevin felt his phone vibrate as he looked down at it to see who it was from. His cousin had called him three times, so he decided to take the phone call outside. "Sorry guys, I'll be back in a bit, go ahead and start. " He went outside and took the call, hearing that his cousin that he had been living with was in the hospital after being hit by a car. He ran back inside and told them that he had to go because of a family emergency and left.

Damien:
Pushing Peyton against the hospital bed, Damien backhanded her and then shook his head, "What do you need to tell me about?" Tightening his grip on her wrists, Damien glared at her.

Caspen:
He couldn't understand what it was that she was saying. Caspen stood a few feet away until he was called to Lexia's room.
