Diana Misato's Story

Diana:

""a knocking 'DIANA! COME QUICK! He's hurt real bad.' I get up and rush to the door. My legs are lead, my body's slow. I reach the door and the beat of my heart resounds in my ears. over and over. It stops.
In the moment of silence i see his body lying there. My brother, my friend.""

I shoot up from the dream, heart pounding. THe haunting thumps still ring in my hears until I realize it's the door. "COMING!" I yell at the impatient visitor. I pull over my robe and rush to the door. I open it and it's the landlord.
"ms.Misato your rent is due!" he snaps at me. He was a tall black man with a receding gray hairline and a fuzzy beard. His shirt had grease stains on it and he was sweating in the summer heat. He invited himself in. "Look at this place! It's a pigsty!"
"SURE COME RIGHT IN!" I snap at him. "I'm still moving in jackass." I head into my room to grab what little money I had. It wasn't enough to pay rent, but hopefully he would let me go this time since it was the first month. "Here's part of it... I go to work today and I can get you the rest of it-"
'THIS IS ONLY HALF!" He yelled.
"AS I WAS SAYING!" I cut him off. "I can get you the rest of it soon." I cross my arms.
"I'm going to charge intrest." He says flatly. He storms toward the door. "I WANT MY MONEY BY NEXT WEEK!" He screams before he exits, slamming the door.
"Well, Damn. Just Damn..." I went to go get dressed, and soon after headed out to work.

Diana:

I rushed up to the shop. "Am I late?" Two people stood outside the shop. The shop's sign said closed. "Oh thankgod..." I said all in one word. I leaned up against the doorway trying to catch my breath. "So- Are you guys customers or what?" I looked at the dude, he wasn't half bad. " You're kinda cute I said flat out to him." My gaze shifted over to the girl. I smiled smugly. She looked like she belonged in the sweet shop. She looked like a cupcake.

Diana: "OWWWWWWWW!" I groan. "Who threw their shoe at me. I look to the left, the right. I spun sround. "What the helll...." My voice faded to an awed whisper. There was a dude right above my head. "You might have dropped this." I mumbled "RIGHT ON MY HEAD! GET DOWN HERE!" I fussed at him. I jumped for his ankles but missed by a hair. Finally I threw his shoe at him, but it bounced back and hit me in the face. "DAMMIT!" I grip my nose. "I am going to kill you squirt." I angrily glare at him. My nose hurt. It throbbed. "How the hell did you get there?" I say to him, a bit calmed down but rather annoyed.

He waved his legs all around ow and whimpered as he stared down. "For your information I'm seventeen!" He says in response to being called squirt. "Uhm...I was just roof hopping and well...I slipped! Why isn't there more grooves or footing and...ice am on this place?" he asked as suddenly the bar he hung upon had creaked and slid down causing him to fall. He screamed with his arms flailing as he landed upon her.

Diana:

He landed straight on top of me. "I'm gonna kill you squirt!"I yell at him. I struggle underneath him and try to push him off. Finaly I lift my hips a bit and shove and he rolls right off. "Are you outta your mind!" I grab his shirt front and lift him up underneath my arm. I mess up his hair and give him a couple noogies.

He landed with a hard thud while his eyes were covered with swirls, the fall knocking him for a loop. "OOF! Nnnnnn..." he shook his head before he was yanked up by the girl. "Ah! Hey! that's my favorite shirt!" He retorted and yelped while she brought him under her arm in a headlock. The noogies bringing back nostalgic and dark memories of past bullying experiences. "OW! HEY! OOF! I WAS JUST..AH!" His already messy hair just getting the worst of it while she grated her knuckle into the top of his head, his legs trying to find footing once again behind him to escape the grasp but alas, he didn't have enough muscle to do so.

Diana:
I let him go without further pummeling. "Only cuz you're cute..." I mumble to him. I ran my fingers a bit through his hair to fix it. I had messed it up pretty bad. "What's your name squirt?" I asked him. I was taller than him by about two inches. I started fixing his clothes, brushed a smudge of dirt off his face. I was acting like a mom, so I stopped. He reminded me- of.... No. They looked nothing alike. "You'll have to teach me how to get up on the roofs sometime. I smile a bit at him.

He rolled his eyes now and crossed his arms with a slight blush across his cheeks. "Neondrick Sato....but you can call me Neon. Nobody really pronounces it right anyways." He says pulling at his own strands of hair that were previously smothered. "Heh, it's actually pretty easy...all you do is position yourself right and then...." He jump sideways to the wall now and ran up 4 steps before jumping upward the rest of the way and pounced on the balcony. "DO THAT!" He yells from back up on the roof. He took one step before front flipping back down, luckily the roof wasn't too high and he landed right to be able to break the shock. "Tada..."
