Color: Blue
Music: Classical
Food: Homemade Pizza
Expression: Normally distant, like she lost in thought. She probably is.
Book: The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett (She can paint every scene in her mind. She wants to paint a beautiful garden scene one day.
Personality: Avery is a quiet, and nervous girl. She likes to be alone because she feels awkward in large groups. She tells herself she is fine alone, but she sometimes wishes she was more outgoing. She is spacey, and sometimes loses attention in things because she is thinking. People normally stray away from her because she is looked at as 'weird' or 'quiet girl' or 'spaz'. Lovely isn't it? She cares a lot about peoples feelings, and doesn't like to see anyone get hurt. She is clumsy, which causes her to get into a lot of accidents. Thank God she has Invulnerability--sometimes. She blushes easily, and puts herself down a lot. She is insecure, but doesn't do anything to change that. She wants people to notice her, but hates when people notice her. She may be gifted in art, but she isn't a smart student. She barely passes her classes, but she studies a lot. Things just don't stick. She is a very sweet girl, and when you get to know her she becomes slightly less shy. She, however doesn't have friends because she doesn't dress or act like the average teenage girl should. The lack of friendship is what got her into art. She loves photography because she can express what the world is feeling, and she loves art because she can express what she is feeling without using words.
Clothing Style: She doesn't dress up or wear much jewelry. She is normally decked out in a hoodie/t-shirt and jeans. She feels too exposed in revealing clothes, and wouldn't dare attempt to try it. If she is dressing up for something it is using below the knee, and not low cut. She also normally wears a hat.
Prized Possession: Her most prized posseion is an engagement ring that once belonged to her father. Her mother had boughten the ring, and it was too way too small for him to wear so he would tell her to wear it for him--until his fingers shrunk.
Other: She likes to wear hats, and she wears her bangs over her eyes.
First Memory: Her father giving her, her first camera when she 5.
Favorite Sport: She doesn't really have a favorite sport, but if she had to watch one it'd be basketball.
How does your character feel about love? She is somewhat of a romantic, but it too shy to do anything about it. She secretly wishes for a prince charming, but secretly--of course.
Parents: Foster Parents; Craig (41) and Allison (38)
Siblings: None
Short Background: She pretty much had a pretty good life. Despite her being a quiet child she wasn't lonely because she had her parents. She grew up with a loving mom, and a doting dad. Everything was great until the night before her 12th birthday. That night was the worse night ever for her. A electrical fire happened in her home that killed both her parents. The house was burned to the ground, and the only thing the remained was her. She was in so much pain, but the doctors found nothing physically wrong with her, and wondered if she set the fire herself. She was placed into a foster home, actually many foster homes throughout her short life. When Craig and Allison took her in last year they thought the best thing for this secluded girl was too be around people her own age because all she would do was go to school, and draw. They had the best intentions. She is a new student at the school.
