Appearance:
Hair Color: Dark brown
Eye Color: Green
Height: 5"3'
Weight: 115 pounds
Typical Clothing Style: Whatever looks cute. She normally prefers some type of jeans with either sneakers or boots and a shirt depending on her mood depends on whether it is a plain tshirt or something a little more nice. Her style isn't exactly preppy, but it really doesn't fit any other label either.
Overall Appearance: Brielle loves to do her hair. Her hair is naturally wavy so it's easy to either leave it wavy, straighten it, or full out curl it, so she likes to mix it up and do different things with it. She doesn't wear a lot of makeup on her face, although she also enjoys putting on eye shadow and eye liner, and lip gloss, but that is all she will do in the way of makeup. She has a simply toned body, not out of shape but not in shape either. No one would ever be able to call her fat and mean it, but she also couldn't really be called anorexic either.

History
Family Members: Brielle lives with her mother and younger half brother.
History: Bri had a rather happy childhood. For the first six years of her life she lived with both her mother and father, but then there was a terrible car accident one day when her father was picking her up from school. Some idiot ran a red light and hit the car; they said her father had died on impact because the other car had hit his side of the car. Bri had broken a leg and an arm and had a concussion, but the other driver walked away with a few bruises and cuts but nothing serious.
The loss had been hard at first, but they managed just fine. A few years later, when Bri was ten, her mother met and remarried a seemingly nice guy. A year later her mother found out she was pregnant with her second child, and the guy just disappeared; they hadn't heard from him since.

Brielle

Brielle was ready for her senior year! She got up early so that she could curl her hair and make it look nice, and because she was in charge of driving her younger brother to school. After making sure he was awake and getting ready, she dressed in a black skirt with a ripped while tshirt so you could see the red tank top she wore under it. Bri zipped up her knee high black boots she had bought herself as an early birthday present for school. After applying her eye make up, red lip stick and glitter gloss, she slipped on her lace, fingerless gloves, clipped a black flower into her hair.

Once satisfied with her appearance, Bri headed downstairs and put some frozen waffles in the toaster oven to start cooking. After she fed her brother, she grabbed a nutrition snack bar, her backpack, her cell phone, and her car keys. "Come on, squirt." She said, making sure her brother had everything he needed. Because her mother worked a lot to support them, Bri was mostly in charge of getting her brother where he needed to go and making sure he had everything, which led to her mothering him more than their own mother did.

After dropping Adam off at his school, Bri went to Brookdale High School, where she had attended the past three years. Over the summer she had changed a lot; she started drinking a little, though by no means could be called an alcoholic, and enjoyed going out to parties. Because of this, she had lost most of her friends, but she didn't care. She was having fun, meeting random guys she would make out with then never see again, and enjoying life.

Reapplying her lip gloss, Bri got out of the car, locking it and tossing her keys into her bag. She walked into the school, going straight to her locker. The girl saw some people she knew and gave a small wave, but didn't really talk to anyone. After putting everything in her locker and grabbing a notebook and some pens, she headed to her first class: math. As soon as she entered the classroom she recognized the man sitting behind the desk. It was hard not to stop where she was and drop everything she held. Doing her best to keep her composure, Bri just headed to the back of the classroom, praying he wouldn't notice her since it had been at least a month since they had met, and made out.

Brandon

Brandon had slept through his alarm, so it was the text from Nina that woke him up. He looked at the time and cursed to himself.
yea, I wasn't. thanks for texting, be there in 30
He hit send and scrambled to brush his teeth, run his fingers through his hair, and finish getting ready. Brandon grabbed a pack of pop tarts and starting eating them walking out the door. He was wearing black gym shorts and a grey t-shirt, his usual attire, which would shock no one.

Pulling into the parking lot with five minutes to spare before class, he rushed inside. It didn't take him long to spot Nina, his technical girlfriend, so he went over and kissed her cheek. "Hey beautiful." he said, since he really was the romantic type, even if he didn't really love her and knew she would never love him, he still wanted her to feel special. "Hey Sophya." He said, nodding towards the two of them. "I gotta get to my locker, I'll catch you later though, ok?" He said, kissing her cheek once more before heading off to his locker to put his stuff away.

Janelle Daniels

Janelle heard her name being called and turned to see Ainsley. She smiled at her. "Hey Ainsley, how was your summer?" After their brief interaction, she headed to her locker. She put away her book bag and grabbed her books from her locker. She headed to her class and sat down, then pulled out her phone to send a text before the bell rang and class started. She texted Starr.

To: Starr
From: Janelle
Hey! Sit with me at lunch today?

She contemplated telling Starr about being...pregnant. She had to tell someone and knew she could trust her best friend Starr.

Josh Blake

Image

Josh sat at his desk as some students entered the classroom. He glanced down at his notes again as a more students poured into the classroom. After the bell rang, he looked up, surveying his students. He spotted a familiar face in the back of the class, but couldn't place where he knew her from. He took attendance, but reading her name didn't aid him in figuring out who she was. The whole time during his lesson, he wracked his brain trying to place where he knew her from.

Brielle Hastings

Bri sat through math class on the first day. The first day was always the worst because it was always the same, and so many teachers thought of 'fun' activities to do on the first day as ice breakers, but your senior year of high school even those were getting old and ordinary. However, this first day was turning out not to be ordinary. She knew people in her first class, including the teacher, which was embarrassing, and as much as she tried to avoid meeting his eyes, scared that he would recognize her and where he knew her from, she couldn't keep from watching him; he was the teacher, of course.

At the end of class, Brielle waited for most of the students to leave, taking her time gathering her very few belongings, before going to his desk. "Excuse me Jo...Mr. Blake." Bri closed her eyes and took a breath since she almost called her new teacher, whom she shouldn't have met before, by his first name. "I'm not very good at math, so I was wondering if you also tutored to help students?" She asked. Honestly, she wasn't terrible at math, history being her worst subject, but she wasn't exactly good at it either-it rested somewhere in the middle. Her real reason for asking though was that she didn't want to stay away because she had really felt a connection during their encounter over the summer.

Brandon

Brandon had English as his first class that day, so he wasn't in the class with so many others. However, he did go to the class as soon as his was let out, to meet Nina. When he saw her, he smiled, but then his eyes flickered to Lizbeth, who it appeared was also in the class, as well as other people. "Hey, Liz." He said to her with a smile, then looked at his girlfriend. "How was class Nina?" He asked, giving a brief wave to all the others that it seemed had been in that class as well.

Josh Blake

Image

Josh got through his first lesson and by the time the bell rang, he plopped down into the seat at his desk. "Great first day, guys, see ya tomorrow." He called out after his students. He had thought his first day went well... he hoped the students liked him. He wanted to be seen as the "cool" teacher. Though he was pleased with the first day, one thing still bothered him. Who was the familiar girl and where did he know her from? As the other students left, she stayed behind. She came up to his desk and asked him about tutoring.

"Tutoring? Yeah, I do," He said as he flashed a smile. You could just pick two days during the week that work for you, and we'll have a session on those days every week from 2:45 until 3:45," he explained. Her name was on the tip of his tongue, he knew that he had met her before. And just as he was about to ask her name, it came to him. "Brielle," the word escaped like a whispered secret. Every memory came flooding back to him. The brief, but wonderful, time he had spent with this girl who he had really felt a connection with, who was back, standing before him, and who was...his student. His eyes widened, but he quickly composed himself and cleared his throat. Now things were awkward, he had whispered her name, what was he supposed to do next, should he acknowledge that he knew her, ask if she remembered him, pretend he had no idea who she was--Josh was panicking, completely panicking! He took a breath, and recovered smoothly. "That's your name, right? It's Brielle? I thought I'd remembered it correctly from taking attendance...I'm pretty good at memorizing," he said, as he flashed her another smile.

Brielle

As Brielle awaited Josh's response, she just watched him. It seemed he didn't remember her. Or, it seemed like he was trying to remember her. Maybe he wouldn't. Maybe they could go on as if that night had never happened, as if they had never met as anything other than student and teacher, the way it should be. Although Brielle tried thinking that would be best if it were to happen like that, she felt disappointed. She had thought there had been a connection between the two of them, she had really felt something. Maybe it was because she was younger and was still learning, yet he knew all about those feelings. She was prepared for the disappointment that he could so easily forget it, after all it had been just one night and he had been drinking, yet it still didn't help the crushing feeling she was getting as he told her to pick two days and times. What did she expect? Some kind of private, out of school tutoring? It was stupid.

Bri was about to open her mouth to respond, still feeling crushed, when Josh whispered her name. She saw the recognition in his eyes, and the smile that had drawn her to him. His smile was absolutely incredible!! "Yes, it's Brielle, most just call me Bri though." Bri smiled back at him. Now that she thought he remembered her, and she remembered him, what would happen? Would they still try to act as if that night had never happened, as if there was nothing between them ever, as if she had only stood before him as his student, and nothing else? Could she do that, knowing how good his name, his first name, sounded on her lips, and how good those same lips felt against her.

Her mind started to wander, so Brielle had to shake her head to get her thoughts in line. "So how about Tuesdays and Fridays? Unless you would rather get out earlier on Fridays?" Bri asked him. She only chose Tuesday cause it was the following day so they could start sooner. There was still a little hope that he wanted what she wanted, more than a student/teacher relationship, yet she also knew that that hope could crush her because it was highly inappropriate and could get them both in a lot of trouble.

Brandon

Brandon noticed the way Nine was acting. He figured it was because he said hi to Lizbeth first, and knew it probably hadn't been the smartest move, but did she have to act that way? It wasn't as if she could actually be jealous of his feelings for another girl. Actually, Nine had been the first to know of his feelings for his friend and she had supported him, especially after he supported her through everything.

B watched his girlfriend walk away and just went to his locker. It didn't take long for his phone to vibrate, letting him know he got a text. He read the text from Nina and sighed.

sounds good to me

He replied quickly, then grabbed his books for his next class and headed off, the possibilities of what Nina wanted to talk to him about running through his mind and getting him through the day until lunch since the first day was always so boring.
