This poor boy is an outcast of Holidia's vampire community because he is, to put it gently, dysfunctional.
To those who take the time to speak to Oliver, he is an unbelievably kind, selfless young man. He would do just about anything for the few people he calls his friends, putting their needs before his own without fail. No matter what, he is there to listen to people and provide a shoulder to cry on. However, he doesn't talk very much, and he's very self-conscious and easily scared. Oftentimes, he misses out on good friendships because he's too afraid to talk to people - then again, he's pretty much afraid of everything. Nervous, jittery, and easily embarrassed, Oliver finds it's often just better for him to keep his mouth shut.
Oliver doesn't like to carry much with him - just the clothes on his back.
The problem with Oliver is that he is in no way like the other vampires around him. He falls asleep at night and awakens in the day, and he doesn't possess any of the grace of his peers; in fact, he is quite clumsy. The very sight of blood makes him nauseous, and he instead has to take iron and magnesium supplements. In his younger years, the other vampires thought it was merely a phase, but by now they have given up on him. Werewolves tease him regularly, and other vampires are ashamed to be seen with him. Because of this, Oliver spends most of his time with the fairies, pixies, and occasionally humans.
