A bit shorter than Kitterina at 5 ft 5 but doesn't mind, she adores heels and is rarely seen without them, Della likes to make her own styles, and this century has held her favorite so far. It's just easier to fit in now. Her natural hair color is white, but she has died it before, her favorites being blue or pink. Her natural eye color is bright pink, but it does change with her mood, and in most situations, this is how you tell her mood. In previous centuries this has been harder to conceal, so shed have to be in certain moods to leave the house without the threat of being burned, they tried it once......too bad for them she was of age to control her magic. She likes glitter and jewels.

Adella is blunt with her thoughts and silent with her feelings, her mood is read through her eyes, and only Kiki can determine the meanings of the colors, so she tends to be unpredictable when really she is an open book. Cuddling Kiki is one of her favorite things, Kiki is the only one who can tame her emotions, and also enrage them. Adella is insanely protective over her and has killed a man for even looking at her wrong. You don't mess with one of the Davenports and get away with it.
Her hatred for men stems from her protectiveness of Kiki. Considering what she'd gone through in the past this isn't unreasonable, and the way men treat women in current times has just added kindling to that fire. Adella has always encouraged Kiki to abuse men, teaching her through demonstration how to make them suffer for hours while they do other things.
These girls can certainly hold a nasty grudge.
Adella shares Kiki's boredom with life, as a result, she has taken almost every drug known to man just because, and enjoys them very much. They just dont effect her like they would a normal human, mainly because she isnt one. She casts spells to protect herself from the harmful effects and drinks in the various highs she can get. Kiki hates her doing this but she cant get enough. Its not like its gonna kill her or anything.....but give Kiki an energy drink......you'll die. Its the same annoyance a mother feels when she had just put a cranky baby to sleep and you wake it.....you get to calm her down.
While Kiki is incredibly honest when you wouldnt expect it, Adella is almost always sarcastic, and its a perfected art, you have to look it over with a fine tooth comb to find the truth, but its always lieing somewhere close by.
History
Adella was conceived at the gathering of her mothers cult. Witches and warlocks gather every year at Samhain to celibrate the thinning of the veil between the spiritual realms, the time when their magic is at its strongest. It is not uncommon for a witch to become pregnant during this ritual and so there is always a new generation at the gathering the next year.
What is uncommon is for a witch to take a human as a lover though, and this happened when Adella was 8. Her mother bonded herself to a human male and his daughter, wanting a familial atmosphere or just wanting something different, Adella had no idea, but her mother continued to teach her the ways of magic and Adella would try to show her new sister how to as well, but she could never grasp it, needless to say, Adella bonded herself to her new companion at a very young age.
When Kiki started being courted by, then betrothed and married to Kenneth, Adella went on a rampage, she left the village and destroyed the lives of millions, they called it the black plague in the history books and tried to burn her at the stake, only to have the flames lick their children instead of herself.
Upon returning to her village, Adella heard of the things that Kenneth had done to Kiki in her absents, Adella felt a rock form in her stomach. She felt guilty for not being there to protect her and promised her wouldn't leave again, just in case Kiki needed her......If she couldn't be with Kiki the way she longed to be, she would be her protector. It wasn't very long after her return when she heard a gun go off inside Kiki's house, and found her dead on the floor....
So she revived her....What else could be done.....Adella felt partly responsible by leaving her alone, so she would help her get revenge, teach her the magic that would help her protect herself and stay with her until the end of time as her protector, being anything she needed her to be...
It was only a bonus when Kiki became her lover.
