Role
The nanny/mother
Gender
Female
Personality
Holly is amazingly mothering, thanks to herding all her younger siblings. She is very stern, but fair, and can be quite sarcastic. She is very protective of others that she considers as under her care, but she is not very protective of herself. She likes to make sure everyone around her is safe, happy and looked after, thus she ends up looking after people a lot. She can be a bit of a nag, and her barbed remarks can be a bit too scathing at times. Also, she has a temper like a piece of C4, not much can truly set it off, but when it does go off, it can destroy city blocks. She prefers to hide a lot of the things she likes, because of being teased for anything she liked in her old school. Holly often can be found sitting worrying over her family, and if they’re okay without her, and she calls them every day. She's had problems with boys mainly because she hasn't been particularly trying, more interested in taking care of everyone, and boys tend to be a little wierded out by her. It's difficult to look at her and how she interacts with people and not think of her as a mother.
Brief Description
Holly is 5’3”, has brown hair and brownish eyes. She also has fairly tanned skin from helping out in the garden. She usually wears very feminine dresses, often with an apron, as she's caught halfway through cooking, cleaning or some other chore that makes it nessecary.
Skills
Holly is a very good cook, knows how to handle a garden, and can bake some very nice cookies. Also, she knows in depth how to handle kids, thanks to her younger siblings. Sadly, a small part of that relies on her being the bigger and stronger one, which she likely isn’t over her boy. She isn’t very good at lying, but she can get the truth out of almost anyone. Lastly, despite her slightly smaller stature, Holly can be surprisingly threatening wihtout direct threats, and is very good at taking charge of some situations.

History
Holly is the eldest of 9. This fact shapes most of her character and personality. She lived out in the country with her eight siblings, 5 girls and 3 boys, and her parents, a local doctor for a mother and a farmer for a father. Her mother died when Holly was seven, of something she’d caught from a patient. Since then, Holly has stepped up into the role of family matriarch, looking after all her younger siblings and making sure the family and her father stayed together. She’s grown immensely in strength, wisdom and knowledge in those years. She was offered a scholarship to Akemi, and she was originally not going to go, worrying about her family falling apart without her. But, her eldest sister said she’d take care of the family in her place, and started following Holly around while she did the chores, calling herself “Holly’s Apprentice”. Her father told her to be selfish for once in her life, and she ended up going. She still worries about them all.

A Mother’s Song
Tying little shoe laces
Wiping off dirty faces
Are just a couple of things
That a mother will do...
Mending a broken heart
Is only just a part
Of the care and the love
That I've given you...
With a Kool-aid smile
And a sparkle in your eyes
I wrap you in my arms
And whisper this advice...
Be strong, be kind
Be patient and in time
You'll find out, my son
What true love is all about
Be faithful and be true
Show love in all you do
Then you'll know, just how
You make your mother proud
Now, little boy days have passed
And you've grown up so fast
But in my heart
That little boy will never be far...
So on this blessed day
There's so much I want to say
But above all, I thank God
For the man that you are...
With a tender smile
And a twinkle in your eyes
I wrap you in my arms
And whisper this advice...
Be strong, be kind
Be patient and in time
You'll find out, my son
What true love is all about
Be faithful and be true
Show love in all you do
Then you'll know, just how
You make your mother proud
You've made your mother so proud...
