In between her semesters in the city, Yukino would spend time with Teiji and his mother. Being an only child, Teiji always saw Yukino as a sister-figure, someone he could relate to and confide in. She often challenged his way of thinking, and any bold strides she took was something he admired. He attributes any redeemable behaviour to her influence, and finds that she stands as one of the most important people in his life.

As the sole proprietor of her family, Chizuru takes every aspect of Teiji and weighs it as one of her top priorities. A self-made woman whose inflated ego is only outweighed by the love she has for her son. Having Teiji at a young age, Chi finds herself latching onto any fleeting youth she has. By reason of this, she encourages her son to call her by her first name. Their relationship is more friendly then it is mother-son.
